Actually, 'Great serpent', or Orochi, was destroyed in his fight with Sukuna early on when they ran from the special grade and Yuji gave Sukuna control but couldn't take it back. We see Sukuna use cleave and absolutely destroy Orochi and cut it to pieces, confirming its destruction. Although, he could still use its abilities/skills using 'totality' I guess?

In Hindi there is a saying "deep tale andhiyara" means " there is darkness right under the lamp". Being son of Gojo put a mental block on megumi. Megumi is more suited for the 10 shadowns than Yuji. His battle IQ is better for the versarility. Megumi figured out by himself without any help how to use his shodows as a trap, to hide and inventory. (Even gege said megumi dont need Blackflash to fight) While Yuji is more of a intuitive fighter. (This explain how he can easily do Blackflash)

The ten shadows and Shrine if I could take a technique from the series into real life are my personal top picks because Shrine is the definition of it don't matter how strong you are I will cut you down and mastering the ten shadows is a living cheat code. The ten shadows would benefit the most from a fighter who knows how to fight like they playing chess. An ideal set up would be having round deer posted up in the cut nerfing the OPs curse energy. Then I would use a combination of the frogs to help lock down my opponent, rabbit escape to blur their vision and as a back up incase if my op was able to escape my frogs to make their footing unstable, Charging bull to bum rush them and using Max elephant, orochi, divine dogs, and any other shikigami I have to help chip away at the OPs defense. Then you throw domain expansion ontop of that then no wonder why the ten shadows be getting gassed up to rival limitless and six eyes. Textbook "Respect these chess moves...and watch me get my paper up". Heck and I already know my a** would be in the lab experimenting on each and every shikigami. A less affective but still better way to summon mahoraga instead of killing yourself while doing it is by grabbing someone with rct then megumi summons mahoraga on the enemy, the rct user heals megumi then mahoraga kills the enemy since technically megumi gets put in saspended animation so he doesnt die during the ritual thus giving plenty of time for the rct user to heal him from near death there you go :3

I have an interpretation of Mahoraga who's fully mastered, tamed, and who's image in Megumi's eyes are overpowered, like Megumi's Nue vs Sukuna's Nue. Four arms, ISOH, SSK, BOE, and a new cursed tool that turns damage into power, size boosted to around 4 times his original size, and perfect adaptation immediately after getting hit with an attack
It seems like the narrative rejects the void/lack of attachment in favor of community and connectedness. Gojo and Megumi act, as the characters with the most potential power, the prime examples. Gojo's power is based on the infinite/limitless void and 6 eyes which prevents him seeing others. Megumi's power is based in his shadow creations--a shadow community which is most effective when functioning as a team becoming more powerful as the connections grow. More Gojo's enlightenment came at the expense of his human connections while Megumi's redemption came through his connection with Yuji. Given the most powerful becomes the state of the jujitsu society, having Megumi as the most potential power means Gojo did win. He changed the society to elevate a community based power over a isolated power of 1...for me, the ending makes sense in that context. No single great power, but a team growing in power, just like the most (potential) power individual.
I always thought the only way to beat and tame Mahoraga was to have seven of the nine shikigami wiped out and have their power accumulate to the eighth resulting in a shikigami capable of almost going toe to toe with Mahoraga
His domain expansion is the real key to his max potential. Look at how he used it in the cave. I think he still has his technique it's just not going to be the same as before.

I think why Megumi can summon multiple of the same shikigami in his domain, which is the CHIMERA part of the domain's name. We know Agito as a Chimera Beast, I think apart of the domain is that it makes INCOMPATIBLE shikigami temporarily COMPATIBLE, hence the multiple Nue, or even better, multiple Mahoraga.

The ten shadows would benefit the most from a fighter who knows how to fight like they playing chess. An ideal set up would be having round deer posted up in the cut nerfing the OPs curse energy. Then I would use a combination of the frogs to help lock down my opponent, rabbit escape to blur their vision and as a back up incase if my op was able to escape my frogs to make their footing unstable, Charging bull to bum rush them and using Max elephant, orochi, divine dogs, and any other shikigami I have to help chip away at the OPs defense. Then you throw domain expansion ontop of that then no wonder why the ten shadows be getting gassed up to rival limitless and six eyes. Textbook "Respect these chess moves...and watch me get my paper up". Heck and I already know my a** would be in the lab experimenting on each and every shikigami. A less affective but still better way to summon mahoraga instead of killing yourself while doing it is by grabbing someone with rct then megumi summons mahoraga on the enemy, the rct user heals megumi then mahoraga kills the enemy since technically megumi gets put in saspended animation so he doesnt die during the ritual thus giving plenty of time for the rct user to heal him from near death there you go :3

Four arms, ISOH, SSK, BOE, and a new cursed tool that turns damage into power, size boosted to around 4 times his original size, and perfect adaptation immediately after getting hit with an attack
It seems like the narrative rejects the void/lack of attachment in favor of community and connectedness. Gojo and Megumi act, as the characters with the most potential power, the prime examples. Gojo's power is based on the infinite/limitless void and 6 eyes which prevents him seeing others. Megumi's power is based in his shadow creations--a shadow community which is most effective when functioning as a team becoming more powerful as the connections grow. More Gojo's enlightenment came at the expense of his human connections while Megumi's redemption came through his connection with Yuji.
Given the most powerful becomes the state of the jujitsu society, having Megumi as the most potential power means Gojo did win. He changed the society to elevate a community based power over a isolated power of 1...for me, the ending makes sense in that context. No single great power, but a team growing in power, just like the most (potential) power individual.

His domain expansion is the real key to his max potential. Look at how he used it in the cave. I think he still has his technique it's just not going to be the same as before.

I think why Megumi can summon multiple of the same shikigami in his domain, which is the CHIMERA part of the domain's name. We know Agito as a Chimera Beast, I think apart of the domain is that it makes INCOMPATIBLE shikigami temporarily COMPATIBLE, hence the multiple Nue, or even better, multiple Mahoraga.
Megumis domain would be undefeatable as he can summon multiple round deer one to constantly heal himself and 2 absolutely destroy the opponents cursed energy causing their domain to be weaker or unusable
