@@NollyRS I listened to it just before listening to this version and posting my comment but I confess I prefer this version 😅 it's probably because Im so used to it ! But the New version is cool too tho
+Tony Marko Not to be pedantic, but I wouldn't go as far as to call this djent. It doesn't follow the rythmic or tonal tendencies of djent but it is most definitely progressive. Parts of this actually really remind me of Dream Theater
As someone who is most into instrumental djent that does heavy, dreamy, and catchy equally well, I think this is pretty fantastic stuff. Can't wait for a few more songs!
Really? Could you imagine how vocals, any vocals, no matter how good, would ruin the atmosphere set forth by this song. The instruments ARE the VOX in this song, and they do it so magnificently!
Agustin Torres I enjoy instrumentals and I've been listening to Oceill's tracks for some time now. I think with the right vocalist it could really add another dimension to the music. So, yea, I can imagine how some vocals would ruin it, and I can imagine how some vocals would be amazing. It just depends on the vocals.
heirtomadness indeed, you are correct. I was actually talking to one of the members last night and we were talking about this. They feel they'll be an instrumental band for a long while due to how hard it will be to find a vocalist that will fit their sound
How can I get the rest of the songs from this band? On their facebook, soundcloud and bandcamp the only song i can get is "Course Bottom". Can anyone please help??
I know I'm going to get some serious hate for this comment, but this music would be incredible with the added presence of vocals. An extra layer of melody and added aggression at the right points would push this over the fucking edge
This is only a demo and to my understanding eventually there will indeed be vocals added to this. Not sure what you mean by aggression, but any sort of growling is most likely not going to happen though.
+Deep Prophecy This is the first opinion on any piece of music that actually is an opinion and not some douche thinking his opinion is fact. Have a like sir, even though I do not share the same opinion.
I don't mean to negatively criticize this song, because I think it is awesome, but am I the only person that feels a lot of metal bands don't know how to write an instrumental piece?
Courtney Riley I think its a bit presumptuous to say there should be a way one should compose any type of music or ART form. There may be a traditional approach, sure. But that's the beauty of progressive music. It's unconventional. Unorthodox. This is their take on it. What do you think of animals as leaders in there instrumental approach?
10 years later, my love for this song hasn't changed ♥️
the re-release on their channel is nice too :)

Only one person in the world would have this opening as their ringtone and that would be me Thank you Oceill
I'm happy to see this song has been listened to over 100k times. Well deserved.

This is great. Beautiful passages.
I will never get tired of this song. I'm amazed everytime.
I get a Pomegranate Tiger meets Periphery vibe in this but it's definitely not like you copied them. This awesome!
pure perfection. my new favorite song. it's perfect the way it is, instrumental
these guys show how enjoyable that whole "djent" prog metal thing can actually be. I love it.
+Tony Marko Not to be pedantic, but I wouldn't go as far as to call this djent. It doesn't follow the rythmic or tonal tendencies of djent but it is most definitely progressive. Parts of this actually really remind me of Dream Theater
At last some interesting djenty stuff...
Hahaha this is awesome! It made me think of dream theater but modernized.
Refreshing and tasteful metal, everything I've heard from these guys so far has been amazing. Keep up the great work guys!
I have the chills...
Quite possibly the best song ever orchestrated.
This is truly some astounding musicianship. You guys should be damn proud of what you've accomplished - UA-cam view counts don't mean shit.

If the download limit for a song is capped, there's usually a download link in the description.
That ending!!! New alarm clock? I think YES
What an experience. What a journey.
Please keep this band instrumental. The power of the muscianship really shines when it has this type of freedom.
yep, adding vocals is almost always a bad move.
I love this joder !
sounds like someone wanted to play Glasgow kiss from John Petrucci and as it was too tough removed half of the notes :p

Cassu1987 yeah I was definitely thinking more melodic singing. the 'growl' doesn't seem to fit this style.
Josh Doran
Agreed :)
Cassu1987 I hope they don't, but even if it's better than this song, I can only appreciate that they released an instrumental.
Extasis
5/8 ♥
you need to find someone who has a beautiful clean voice to cover this with original lyrics. i feel it will make this even more beautiful.
I wish it didn't have the piano. Or it was lower in the mix.
still listening

it's prog lol
The happy search morphometrically bathe because bank dimensionally reject within a odd galley. bored, distinct windchime
The devilish lamb orly shock because hub macroscopically launch despite a super feet. torpid, beneficial pull
