2023 Level 1B Technician of the Year: Greg Garza

Greg possesses over a decade's worth of expertise in the QC/QA industry, having commenced his journey as a haul truck driver at Colorado Materials in San Marcos, Texas, back in 2010. From there, Greg was handed the opportunity to work in the lab and garnered invaluable experience in aggregate and asphalt testing.
In 2013, he made his way to McKinney, Texas, where he became a Level 1A at PaveTex Engineering. The following year, Greg moved on to Austin Bridge & Road as a Level 1A/1B and has since been an integral part of numerous successful projects, including major highways, race tracks, and airport runways.
Greg’s unwavering commitment to quality paving and the constant pursuit of improvement is what sets him apart.
