I left my religion after 40 years this past December officially. I have know over the past three years that I would do this. I’m grateful for the help I received when no one else was able to help and guide me. I was not a participant of a large traditional church but a healing church that is bible inspired. I learned very much and now Spiritual meditation and yoga and learning from your podcasts and others has set me on a path of great awakening. God has always been Love to me and I’ve experienced many so called mystical Experiences throughout my life. Love this path. Thank you for all you do.

I couldn’t agree more with what you’ve said and I’d only like to add one thing, and that’s in addition to seeking the council of the ascended masters, there is an endless sea of guides and helpers from the herbs in your backyard to your own higher self and everything in between. I mean, just look to your pet if you want to learn how to unconditionally love. Of course they may hold distortions from their own negative experiences (for example, being taken from their mothers/families as babies), but I love the analogy of stepping stones. I also really appreciated a glimpse into the life of Jesus, who is one of my main mentors despite our falling out when I left Christianity. He’s funny! Unfortunately the church doesn’t really show that side of him. I love you so much, Mariya.

I then understood I may have been quite indoctrinated, yet still, it seemed hard to grasp the whole concept and the differences. More so, I somehow felt mad and ashamed, and also unsure of how to further deepen spirituality. I was raised religious, not one of the big ones but an evangelical congregation, I learned so much beautiful things and Jesus’s teachings was one of them. After a while I started to develop and grow and to me it was always about Love and I always felt how Jesus was soft and loving and included everyone and how he was always trying to tell everybody “there is another way” this made me feel so different because to me things always ran deep I wasn’t fitting in a religion because religion puts things into a small box but how can I be in this box of what I feel is so much bigger, so much more… love was it for me. Nowadays I’m not following a religion but I will always treasure those days and all the good it did to me, it made me feel safe and loved when I needed and I know God Is. It is love, light, life, energy and everything in between. It just Is the same way we Are. I still feel it in my heart every day and I know it’s God. So spirituality is for me and I always felt Jesus was a very spiritual being himself like you said❤

I’ve always thought religion serves its purpose and some transcend beyond that into spirituality, true spirituality, not the love and light eat mushrooms, wanna start a commune type spirituality. But the inward, self reflective, know thyself, quiet direct connection and a knowing type. And for those who are not ready to battle their demons within, at least they can garner a connection to the divine externally through religion. It wasn’t a religion to them, it was spirituality, and it wasn’t limited to a small group Jews, like only Jesus and a few. It is the only ethno-religion that exists. The religion that it has become today is much different than it was. There is still spirituality in Judaism, but not every religious Jew practices it. But it started as that. That spiritually is what gave us Jesus, a Jew, who then gave us Christianity.

Could you talk more about Islam and Christianity in regards to homosexuality and why religious people see it as so wrong and other rules people in these religions have put up?
They see it as “wrong” and “unnatural” because a homosexual relationship can’t naturally produce children. Abrahamic religion is very big on increasing its followers, brainwashing young minds, and reproductive slavery. It preys, and counts on, the “normal” family dynamic to carry out its will.

I am having a very difficult time wrapping my head and heart around the fact that in spirituality you can follow a path of darkness and still be regarded as an ascended master. Jesus followed the path of light and lived with his chakras in alignment, and never preached murder. Mohamed followed the path of shadow and darkness, raping women and children and murdering those who disagreed with his beliefs. Yet both he and Jesus are considered ascended masters. How can this be? Mohamed’s actions were a lot worse than the modern day Catholic priests! Isn’t the path to ascension a path to light? Or in spirituality if you act upon the shadow side, so long as you have gone deep enough within, is that the same to Source as following the path of light? But you said that “the more you go within the more your vibrations rise. So essentially spirituality is a process of ascension. Gradual. Because your vibrations, your frequencies rise.” So if this statement is true, Mohammed could not possibly have been an ascended master. A descended master, perhaps. And perhaps Christianity/Catholicism is dying out, but Islam is growing exponentially. And if Judaism the religion dies out then I guess there will be no more ethnic Jews left, because they are for the most part one and the same. Is this going to happen? How does this all fit into the religions winding down theory?
