- Learn how to draw the tangle Oof by Zentangle in my Lunchtime Tangles series. I’ve given this variation of it a bit of a medieval twist. Relax, focus, and let your creativity soar as you practice the Zentangle® drawing method. I hope you enjoy this free tutorial. Please subscribe to my channel and give me a thumbs up. Visit my website: Botangle.net for class offerings and more. Please post your results to my student Facebook page, Annie’s Botangle Alumni.
Supplies: .01 and PN Micron pens from Sakura in black, soft graphite pencil, white and gold gel pens. I used Gelly Roll; tortillion, General’s white charcoal pencil, and a Bijou tile in Renaissance color from Zentangle.

Oof! Next time, Patience? Thank you for another fascinating trip to your village. Transatlantic moves are not fun, but at least you're in a glorious place!
Thanks, Jennifer. I don't know the tangle Patience and just looked it up. I love it, as you can imagine. Also fits to my current life's theme, LOL! Thanks. I'll try to work that up for the next tutorial before Inktober Tangles sets in. I was pondering on what to do next. So thanks for that great suggestion.
Thanks for the great tangle Annie. I enjoy my time tangling with you and also enjoy seeing your new countryside and surroundings! I, too, like the little touch of pink in the orbs!
You are so welcome! Nice to hear you like the little cultural intros.
Love that it is simple yet has lots of opportunity to change it up as well. Thank you!
Thanks. Yes, it's one of those really magical tangles because it's easy.
This is a beauty , will have a try this afternoon since it
‘s to hot outside today
Good! Please share your results on my student FB page, Annie's Botangle Alumni.
I just love this tangle, Annie❤. And I love your owl at your barn❤
Thanks🌹
LOL! That is my owl that I carted all the way here. I love it too. I think I got it at Pottery Barn. They might still have one.
@@botangle4946 somehow I have a thing for 🦉
Lovely. As soon as I saw this I had to sit down and do it. I love the grid Tangles because I learned so much about building up patterns from them. Thanks.
I agree. Grid tangles are essential and so versatile!
Been a while since I’ve clicked on your channel! I’ve missed you. You always have such an interesting tile. I love mixing colors like you do. I’ve learned a lot from you. You bring out the artist in me! Thanks for that! BTW, I envy your move. See ya soon!
So glad you are learning things from me, Elisa. Keep viewing and tangling along with me. I appreciate hearing that you like what I'm doing. Do hope to "see" you again soon. Keep commenting, that way we can chat a little.
More interesting views of your new life - love it! I can empathize with your unpacking issues. My last move, while not an overseas move, was over three years ago. The houses were about the same size, but the layout is so totally different it’s been hard. Much of my art supplies are still packed up as I figure out where to put things (especially as I had to give up 2/3 of my new studio for another purpose and figure out where to rearrange yet again!). I’ve had to buy some tools and supplies that I know are packed away somewhere because I need them now. So frustrating! But it’s gradually getting better….
Thanks for your empathy. It is indeed frustrating! It will all work out with time. I just really miss my big studio space and still feel unsettled until we figure our how to arrange it in the barn. There's a nice light space there but it needs some work. We'll get tit together eventually.
Love your lessons & enjoying the videos from Austria. Hope you’re not running in circles too much longer! Moves are exhausting-Zentangle breaks are therapeutic!
Thanks Lynn. Just took a nice break from the circles with a visit from our adult granddaughter. We took fun side trips to castles, cathedrals, and Vienna. Back to work again!
I really liked adding just a touch of pink to the pearls. I’ll be borrowing that idea a lot! I’ll post & tag you on Instagram. Thanks, Annie! Always a pleasure to tangle with you……and to see some of your new life in Austria!
Thanks, Marilynne. Glad you like tangling with me and keeping up with our new life here.
