OH IT'S GORGEOUS!! I HAVE TO TRY ONE! I will give it my own flair, but your inspiration will be there for sure!!! Thank you once again for sharing your wonderful talent and designs!
What a beautiful tile & tangle. I was blown away watching you draw this. I thought it was fabulous before you added the shading, but the shading added another wow factor. I am still trying to learn the shading & watching this I need to make it a priority 👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧
I did try this one! And did give it my own flair. I ended up making the entire background black inside the circle and a few other touches of my own. It's one of my favorites.
I love these... you were the one who made that happen 🏵️ I am about to venture into a new art-verse and hope to integrate this design into this new branch of creative release 💫🌌 Thank you for keeping things fresh and sharing so graciously 🙏 🎨 Art'On 🎨
Shading helps give your work a more 3 dimensional effect. On the video I start shading at 20:15 using a pencil. You can then blend this to soften the effect. I use a blending stump which can also be called a tortillion. It is made from tightly rolled paper. I buy mine from art/craft shops. You can blend using your finger but this way can be a bit messy.
Hi Jan, you can buy these from Zentable, inc. Just go to their website Zentangle.com they call these Zendala tiles. I sometimes cut circles out of a heavy card or if using wet medium I use a heavy watercolour paper or mixed media paper.

Newbie here. Do you seal your work when finished? It is lovely! I would definitely want to preserve this!!
I only use a mat fixative when I use a charcoal pencil or any other chalky mediums like pastels or pastel pencils.

Hi it’s a beautiful tangle so they all have same name ???_
Yes. I started with the basic tangle then added embellishments and varied the type of petals.
Where do you find the round circles?
Hi Jan, you can buy these from Zentable, inc. Just go to their website Zentangle.com they call these Zendala tiles. I sometimes cut circles out of a heavy card or if using wet medium I use a heavy watercolour paper or mixed media paper.
