I recently started my worm cafe and this video has been immensely informative. You answered my questions on how to feed, how to water, how worms migrate, etc, in one swoop! Thank you very much.

Very well explained. I’ve just ordered a wormcafe in Germany 🇩🇪. I tried worm composting in one of my bigger compost bins and it also worked well even over winter but wanted to increase my yield by this tower now.

Why not leave the bottom tray until no worms or eggs left only castings. Because all worms and hatchling have migrated up.

Makes great sense to shower them ... in nature they would be regularly rained on to cleanse.

Great tips thanx. I live in jeddah where the temperature goes up to 50 celcius in summer . My worms started getting out of the bin through the tiny ventilation holes and died although they were in a shaded area. So i had to bring them in to my living room where the AC is on most of the day. So yr tip of adding the water bottle on top is a life saver for me. Thanx

So I just got a "Worm Cafe" to save the planet and blah blah blah.
Knowing nothing about worm farms, I found this lovely Florida-lady's instructional video on how to use it. Now, instead of wanting great compost, I just want to be as enthusiastic and have as much love for ANYTHING in this world as this woman does her worms.
God bless your presumably cruelty-free cotton socks, Wanda the Worm Woman. I hope your babies are flourishing.

Hi Bernie, I'm glad to see you started a UA-cam channel. I've had my Pot-O-Worms since July of 2009 when you and Carl got me started off right.
BTW, I started a UA-cam channel last year. Peggy Helbling's Garden What You've Got. Garden tips and worms 🪱
I love watching your enthusiasm and I know you just held an educational day last weekend. I hope it was a success.
I just subscribed to your channel 👍

Have a simple question. How do you determine a tray is full? Is it to the top? Or is it when you put the next tray on it just touches the top of the compost in the tray below?

Way too much moisture. I am getting mites and fruit flies now due to this, or so I have been told. Or, am I not putting in enough moisture? Does drowning it with a lot of water help get rid of the mites and flies?

Very well presented I just got my first worm cafe' set it up the way I tough it should be set up I only purchased 250 worms to start not knowing I should have started with 1,000. I have an friend that has an organic farm and also has a large commercial business of formulating organic fertilizers so I will go and dig in their manure pile and bump my worm cafe; to 1,000 worms. Thank you for your video I believe it is your website link above so I will check it out.. I live in Canada
