Myra I love all your projects and I adore the paisley transfers, they are gorgeous. I also love the cabinet for your granddaughter but the resin moulds are too hard to see, perhaps a different colour, maybe a pink or maybe just have the knobs. My favourite has to be the plaque with the beautiful lady on and the moulds, all looks gorgeous. TFS.

I love all the projects, however like you I love the travel case and the lady. The cabinet is beautiful too. Maybe the handles wood look pretty matching the dark burgundy in the paper. They would really pop then and a dab of gold gilding on the highlights would be pretty too. I know your granddaughter will love it any way you do it!

These are ALL so beautiful. I guess I'm like you when it comes to those old dresses and the ladies dressed that way which was common attire. The frame with the vintage looking lady is gorgeous. I love the molding you used. I think it's so sweet to surprise your granddaughter with the carry doll case. My Dad had an antique shop when I was growing up. He brought me so many dolls that were old and I loved dressing them up. These doll cases were popular when I was a child. Your project all came out so beautiful and my opinion of the one you did with the black paint, is for myself I would have picked a lighter color to blend with the decoupage paper.

My granddaughter is into paper dolls lately. I had some old Barbie paper dolls and do you remember the Lennon Sisters? I had some of those too. She thinks their clothes are so neat. She doesn’t realize they’re vintage. Maybe she’ll grow up to design vintage clothing since I want to teach her to sew. Happy Sunday friend💕

I’d paint the resin door things a creamy color then use the gold. I have always love pink and green together. The cosmetic case is beautiful. Love the fancy pumpkin. That Victorian piece is so beautiful.

Myra, you're not going to believe me, but my 91 y/o mama still has her cosmetic case just like the one you used. Everything is absolutely beautiful. As far as the cabinet, I think I'd remove the plates and just use the knobs. Much love from Texas my friend ❤ 🤠

I love the little case--I have one and I think I'll try what. you've done. xx. For the chest with doors, I would paint the medallions black with gold knobs. The color and the gold gets lost in the pattern. You'll be able to see the gold of the knobs if there's black in the background, and the black will draw the eye down from the top. When I was a kid, I had a similar piece of furniture that my mother called a "chiffarobe." She repurposed it a few times for various things.

I could not believe it when I saw you painting the brown case. I have 2 coats of white paint on mine that is exactly like yours! I've been trying to decide which transfers to use on it, but the paisley one you used was stunning. I may have to make another order tonight! I ordered the Highland cow and a couple other deco papers you used recently. You have certainly given me some inspiration and motivation to finish my case! Thank you!

Hi Myra...I love the idea of the medallions...they're very fancy but I think they get lost on the cabinet with all the flowers....maybe some crystal knobs...very nice decoupage job on the flowers...love the Victorian lady the best...I have the swags mould but have yet to use it....thank you for the inspiration

Maybe you should do the color of the darkest roses on the decopauge paper? That peach color gets lost because the pattern is busy ( I love the busyness of the pattern) so I think a darker color would pull it all together.

OMgoodness!!!! I absolutely love that suitcase. Sooo beautiful! I can’t wIt till I see one at a thrift store. I had a blue one like it. But kept my records in it. Lol. I love that medallion! Why not paint it plum? That wd be pretty. That little doll Armour is gorgeous! I’ve just loved everything! Haha nothing like a glam punkin. So pretty! Who says Halloween can’t be glamorous? Oh you are so right. Halloween definitely needs to be glam instead is scary 😂. I still have some of my old albums. My kids bought me a record player for Christmas last year and sometimes me and the granddaughters have dance parties😂. Those were the good old day💕💕💕

All so pretty! My favorite is the cosmetic case….I love paisley! I think the medallions are overkill on the little cabinet. Just a knob, maybe the glass knobs would work. Or even a black knob to correspond with the outside.

I was blown away with the suitcase though because I have a set of square dishes that have the same paisley print on them! I got them at HomeGoods about 15 yrs. Ago and I use them for thanksgiving a lot! I love them! I also like the Victorian look as well, so the plaque is my favorite too! Anyway, about the cabinet….I would remove those medallions. That decoupage paper is gorgeous and really I feel that the medallions compete no matter what color they may be. Well, I think your medallions don't actually add anything to your cabinet, even though they are gorgeous! They are just hard to see. I think I'd use just plain knobs. The decoupage paper is enough. I especially love the paisley transfer. Truly stunning! Your victorian lady is gorgeous! You find the best products! I'm not sure I would have used black on the castings but it did bring out the detail! I hope you can add the links right away for Victorian Treasure!
