May not be the fastest thing in the world, but damn do those 3v 4.6’s sound good
315hp is more than enough!..... Unfortunately these newer cars have four cylinders putting out that HP with no problem 😂
@@robertthomas8123 they may make it, but they don’t sound it. I’ll take a slower V8 to a faster 4cyl every damn day.

After a while the lack of power gets to me and I wish I had the 5.0 power , currently got a stock 07 Shelby gt

I have 07 GT stock and Caliber SrT4 . Both will do 140 with ease but the caliber is slightly quicker because of the gearing , and I’ve topped it at 150

You can't get the 3 valve 4.6 in the pickups sadly , only 2 valve 4.6s came in the pick ups
I got a 2010 gt set up the same way. I get so many compliments. Cats to h pipe to muffler delete is perfect.

I don't see many in this charcoal grey color, I just bought an exact one that's a 2008 and I'm in love with the color it makes the black pop so damn good. I'm in love with it
I kept my cats and did a muffler delete on my 07, sounds just right with 0 drone.
I have an 08 grand marquis. Cut the muff off and damn does she scream on the gas pedal. She's not fast but she's mine.

I have an offroad H pipe with FlowFX mufflers midmounted, and it sounds incredible. Quiet-ish when it needs to be, but cold starts are brutal and it screams when you get on it. Perfect setup imo, got a great rumble as well.

I wanted to get a 2009 mustang gt so badly but the HP lacks so much lol. My v6 2012 mustang I have now puts out more HP than that and also the new 10speed 4bangers beat both lmao. Man technology has gone so far… amazing. Still a classic though
5 more hp for way less torque and a motor that sounds like crap

@@phil955i Since a crossplane V8 has an even firing rhythm, but uneven firing order (between left and right bank), no crossover enhances the uneven sounding exhaust note (typical V8 burbling sound).
It does have the potential tho of slightly reducing flow and thus having less power/torque than h- or x-pipes.
H-pipes are the best compromise if performance is as important as sound. 👍
@@muaythai193 thanks. I'm having the resonator deleted on my Mercedes CLS 500 next week & was going to have an X-pipe in it's place but I may consider an H-pipe instead now as apparently an H-pipe gives a more classic muscle car sound, which is what I'm after. The resonator does have a cross-over inside so I think I'll maintain that. I would prefer the sound to be more of that classic V8 burble though so just two straight pipes in place of the resonator also appeals. Decisions, decisions lol.
@@phil955i I wouldn’t go for the one with crossover in the resonator.
Actually I would only go for two separate absorptive mufflers or straight pipe with glasspacks.
Without crossover or with an h-pipe.
That way you’ll get exactly the sound you’re after. 👍

It’s not a Bullitt. It’s a 2007 and the Bullitt was 08-09 and came in highland green or black with no fog lights. This is grey with fog lights.
