You can’t fly outside of the USA with over 10k without declaring it first(proper paperwork). Technically inside of the USA you can have a million dollars in cash on you if you wanted too, you just better be able to prove how you obtained the funds. Civil Seizure is what it’s called it’s common amongst law enforcement it’s a real hassle to get the money back definitely will need a lawyer.
