Noel Gallagher's ( who is huge Bowie fan btw ) comments at the beginning always bring a smile to my face . Bowie was indeed too cool for that shit .
+ThefightingCelt Well said!
I wonder what his bro Liam thinks of Bowie...
He's a legend.
David, forever. Great musician. Handsome man.
Bowie's award is well-deserved.
The legendary David Bowie
This made me cry I miss him so much ❤️⚡️
Bowie was an innovator every decade he just got it right with his sound
We will stay with you David. I hope.
Miss ma Bowie.
YOU MANIACS....lol....love it
We SALUTE you!!
OMG !! i love you noel so much :D
NO one goes near Bowie the best EVER
The only good thing in a boring event. No wonder no one watches it.
Alex Turner's speech was also very amusing
This is song min 0:40 please
The stars are out tonight by David Bowie
I am glad not much people watching this...because it probably will be a argue about politic if so many people watch this and lay a comment...
If only she could properly read
Damn. She should never open her mouth.
Baby Irene she has a lovely British accent
Classic David, tells us to stay with Britain and can't even be there to say it. Reminds me of David Cameron.
That was cringey. Love David but, Kate that was awful.
that dry mouth - she was probably off her tits
David asked her to say this
its a shame that old bowies comback didnt quite work out. maybe he should make a quick call to that dynamite one man hit factory phil collins for a few ideas. ;-)
Congrats, it`s taken you almost two years to be offended by this comment from 2014 . At the time of the comment he was not known to be ill .And Phil Collins IS a one man hit factoryand finest aged rocker ever to play drums on a band aid record :-)
+marshalllucky Imbecile! Enjoy your life
+Jess Doughty Why thankyou my dear , people are allowed to have an opinion other than yours without being an imbecile. Old Bowie would have laughed his socks off at my comment , he didnt take his self too seriously you see ...........
+marshalllucky Oh dear!
Why are there so many dumb fucks in this comment section?
Well, it's UA-cam, I shouldn't be surprised.
a lack of respect of Brit awards to use a dead man for publicty, and a lack of Bowie's value to earn awards while he was alive. Giving award post mortem is always shitty.
+Adrian T. He was actually still alive. This is a clip from the 2014 Brit awards
Well, then he received out of pity because he was dying. It's an almost-post-mortem award. :))
+Adrian T. Uh.. but no one knew he had cancer at this point. When he died, that was the first the public heard of his cancer.
+Qassim Farid I meant dying of old age. :))
I am against of gloryfing people after their death. Now they're doing that with Prince. It doesn't cross my mind any of these people's song, I had to google it, and most of the poeple never did while they were alive. Now they are some kind of absolute artists. the cream of the best (after death). :))
+Adrian T. So, their greatness is predicated on whether you know their songs? Also, what do you define as "most of the people?" Yes, I'm sure that there are plenty of people who are unfamiliar with the works of Bowie and Prince, but I think it's very difficult to deny their genius on the sole question of ubiquity. Furthermore, do you honestly think Bowie's lack of awards should factor in to his legacy? Awards are meaningless...many amazing people have been denied public recognition because of stupid and trivial political agendas (e.g., Leo Tolstoy being snubbed by the Nobel Prize in Literature). Your comments about glorification are also very troubling...when we contemplate upon someone's life (famous and non-famous, alike) we do more than merely GLORIFY them. There are plenty of people who will look back on Bowie and Prince as musical innovators (which is perfectly fine), but their lives have different meanings for everyone. I'm not trying to put you down for being unfamiliar with Bowie and Prince, but their lives mean MUCH more to me than simple glorification. I listen to their songs for renewal, enjoyment, inspiration, and most importantly, to remember them for what they represent to me.
At least this was better than when he cruelly crushed Michael Hutchence at an Awards show saying ‘has been’s shouldn’t be giving awards to gonna be’s’’. Now who is the has been standing there like an old man 😂
That was very cringey Kate.
Why did he stay Scotland stay with us!? We are not moving we would just like to have some more political power!!
+Millie McLean ....if only you would move !
We wanted to entirely secede from the U.K. That’s a bit different from ‘a bit more political power’. David Bowie had every right to convey that he respected Scotland and felt they still had a future as part of his home nation.
Whether I agree or not, especially right now at the tail end of all this Brexit shit, that’s a totally different thing.
