But these days, they'd either talk about TWICE, I.O.I, or Kylie Jenner. I believe most Korean women are insecure due to their desires to meet the Korean men's expectations, instead of even try to become beautiful for themselves. The second girl doesn't look too much of a plastic monster, but she has already lost all the features of her originality. It's ironic to see her look up to Kylie when Kylie doesn't even look like herself.
The first lady is addicted to work. That's a psychological problem and the husband has depression. They both need to see an expert and recieve therapy. The problem is deeper than it seems. And the second girl has probably body dysmorphiaㅠㅠShe needs professional help too. Like you and I see she needs professional help, other too realize it, which can help in them getting recommended to a professional. I know my comment is super late but social media contributed to about 50% of my depression so I really feel it. I'm not obsessed with appearance but I want love and care and recognition. I always just got 1 to a few likes on my Fb posts and 2-3 digit views on my YT channel. Later on I found out the issue isn't me but my lack of knowledge of social media strategy. I can learn about that but now I prioritize my personal development over views.

That's exactly what happened to my brother and me. My mum worked from 5am-7am then 9am-3pm and lastly from 4pm- 1am. We don't have a car nor a house. She says she worked hard for us while supporting our families in Vietnam, too. It wasn't until a few years ago that she stopped working so much and barely supported our relatives. But my brother and I have been diagnosed with depression. I even remember asking my mum why she was working all the time when I was 8 years old. I've always been the clingy child so when I really needed her, she wasn't there. My brother is quite smart so he caught on our dysfunctional family's problems from a very early age on. We do see her as our mother but we also remember her working more than being with us.
So true parents do need to bind with their children it's very imp and they are very small at this age a child is very close to their mother and wants them all the time but she isnt given them any time and when they grow up they w9nt understand her but hate her for not being there for them when they needed her and she isnt concerned about her family and her husband at all she is so selfish and thinking about future women have u seen future do u know what will happen in future will be alive or dead or whatever everyone works hard for better life but that dosent mean that they dont live their life or neglect their family and u toh not atleast 1 bit is worried about ur husband and it even won't matter to u for he divorces y bcz then also u will be busy working only just change ur self and give ur family time give ur husband and children time spend quality time together and let ur parents also rest they are old and need rest and let them also spend so alone time together I say u are doing it for ur family's future but they aren't happy at all then what's the need of it if ur family is only not happy with what u are doing

I think this program is good in a way that it helps people wake up and realise what kind of problem they have. It's true they might not have experts or professionals to help them solve their problems 100% and sometimes the problems/issues that come on this show are very serious, but it is very important as well for the people to first realise their problem and how it is affecting the people around them. A lot of the ppl who come on this show say "I didn't know about that" or "I never thought about it that way". It's a good way for them as friends, family and even coworkers to pave a way towards healing and growing closer while being honest and open with each other. And if they need help professionally, they can begin to seek that help out.

i dont understan these koreans who seem to stay up late for the night. sleeping at 2, 3, 4 is not healthy even as iam night owl i find it hard. what about next day how can they function and do work. its proven even one night of bad sleep can mess with your dna, metabolism, moods and overall health. it feels like you are in a hungover state with aches everywhere. how come these people go on with their lives with no sleep or couple of hours of sleep for years and years? and dont they have working time regulation. it looks like most koreans live for their work, which is sad.

I saw the Instagram of the 2nd concern's posts after the show, and it didn't look like she changed ..still adding photoshop to her images, but of course something like this will take time, especially since she started at a young age... the best thing about her being on this show, is that a lot of viewers from all over the globe commented words of encouragement on her post, and compliments that she is beautiful the way she is. Hopefully this will help her realize that she has always been beautiful, including at age 14. I think Asian people are beautiful and don't understand why some want to change their eyes and chins, same for anyone else in the world who wants to look like anyone but themselves. I have no problem with makeup and cosmetic beauty I just think altering features with (unnecessary) multiple surgeries is too much. Our individual features make us unique, love yourself.

The first concern is something I can relate to. When my family was in my home country, my dad was in the United States working and working without stopping. I spent my childhood without him. He wasn't even there for my birth. Basically I lived like I had no dad. Even now when my family reunited in the U.S., my dad works day and night even if his back hurts or when he's sick. He never has time to go out to celebrate birthdays, or pick us up after school, or even for a simple doctor appointment. It has come to the point that he would confuse my siblings' and my names and ask what grades we are in. Even though we are living together now, I am still awkward around him and when I need my parent to sign something, I just let my mom sign it. If that woman doesn't start being more attention to her family than her work, her children will be affected in the future like how I am now. Work is important but family comes first.

I grew up mostly without my dad, he also worked in the U.S. He was there since I was 6, he went home once, then we were reunited when I was 19. Me and my 2 younger brothers basically lived without him, especially my youngest brother, he is just like you who basically did not know anything about having your dad around. It sure is awkward, he is confused with my brothers' names too, they usually have misunderstanding coz they don't get along most times because they are basically strangers to each other. even me, or my mom. We were away from him for 14 years. It's just us back in the Philippines before. it affected us, him being used to being alone and us being used to not having him with us at all times. Now we are all together, it is very hard because basically we are a working progress. to getting used to being together in one house. I do not blame him for working abroad, I know it was for us, but the years that was spent apart really took it's toll on us. it is a struggle.

i think the lady obsessed with plastic surgery might have bdd (body dysmorphic disorder). i'm not a psychiatrist but i suffer from this disorder myself and many of the things she says/does seem very familiar to me. also when she saw herself on the screen and tried to find a good angle? the caption was "i like myself", but i think it's the opposite. for me, at least, i take a lot of selfies just to get one picture where i don't look disgusting. when i skype with my girlfriend, i look at my own webcam video a lot and fidget bc i'm trying to find an angle i don't hate. it might not make sense, but people like me look at themselves a lot in hopes of finding something they don't hate. if i had money and weren't scared of surgeries, i probably would get plastic surgery myself. i go to therapy to get help for my disorder, and i wish ara would too. i mean it's her body and she can do whatever she wants with it, but when it becomes a health risk, it's time to get help.

I know my comment is super late but social media contributed to about 50% of my depression so I really feel it. I'm not obsessed with appearance but I want love and care and recognition. I always just got 1 to a few likes on my Fb posts and 2-3 digit views on my YT channel. Later on I found out the issue isn't me but my lack of knowledge of social media strategy. I can learn about that but now I prioritize my personal development over views.

That's exactly what happened to my brother and me. My mum worked from 5am-7am then 9am-3pm and lastly from 4pm- 1am. We don't have a car nor a house. She says she worked hard for us while supporting our families in Vietnam, too. It wasn't until a few years ago that she stopped working so much and barely supported our relatives. But my brother and I have been diagnosed with depression. I even remember asking my mum why she was working all the time when I was 8 years old. I've always been the clingy child so when I really needed her, she wasn't there. My brother is quite smart so he caught on our dysfunctional family's problems from a very early age on. We do see her as our mother but we also remember her working more than being with us.
So true parents do need to bind with their children it's very imp and they are very small at this age a child is very close to their mother and wants them all the time but she isnt given them any time and when they grow up they w9nt understand her but hate her for not being there for them when they needed her and she isnt concerned about her family and her husband at all she is so selfish and thinking about future women have u seen future do u know what will happen in future will be alive or dead or whatever everyone works hard for better life but that dosent mean that they dont live their life or neglect their family and u toh not atleast 1 bit is worried about ur husband and it even won't matter to u for he divorces y bcz then also u will be busy working only just change ur self and give ur family time give ur husband and children time spend quality time together and let ur parents also rest they are old and need rest and let them also spend so alone time together I say u are doing it for ur family's future but they aren't happy at all then what's the need of it if ur family is only not happy with what u are doing

Her children are not going to understand her when they grow up, because they formed insecure attachment styles as kids. If a child gets angry at their mom when their mom returns, that's a clear indication of an avoidant- insecure or ambivalent-insecure attachment style.

When people are using social media, and know they have a lot of fans (like she does), they tend to be more careful about what they say and how they can appear. I think this program is good in a way that it helps people wake up and realise what kind of problem they have. It's true they might not have experts or professionals to help them solve their problems 100% and sometimes the problems/issues that come on this show are very serious, but it is very important as well for the people to first realise their problem and how it is affecting the people around them.
A lot of the ppl who come on this show say "I didn't know about that" or "I never thought about it that way". It's a good way for them as friends, family and even coworkers to pave a way towards healing and growing closer while being honest and open with each other.
And if they need help professionally, they can begin to seek that help out.

Hopefully this will help her realize that she has always been beautiful, including at age 14.
I think Asian people are beautiful and don't understand why some want to change their eyes and chins, same for anyone else in the world who wants to look like anyone but themselves. I have no problem with makeup and cosmetic beauty I just think altering features with (unnecessary) multiple surgeries is too much. Our individual features make us unique, love yourself.

The first concern is something I can relate to. When my family was in my home country, my dad was in the United States working and working without stopping. I spent my childhood without him. He wasn't even there for my birth. Basically I lived like I had no dad. Even now when my family reunited in the U.S., my dad works day and night even if his back hurts or when he's sick. He never has time to go out to celebrate birthdays, or pick us up after school, or even for a simple doctor appointment. It has come to the point that he would confuse my siblings' and my names and ask what grades we are in. Even though we are living together now, I am still awkward around him and when I need my parent to sign something, I just let my mom sign it. If that woman doesn't start being more attention to her family than her work, her children will be affected in the future like how I am now. Work is important but family comes first.

I grew up mostly without my dad, he also worked in the U.S. He was there since I was 6, he went home once, then we were reunited when I was 19. Me and my 2 younger brothers basically lived without him, especially my youngest brother, he is just like you who basically did not know anything about having your dad around. It sure is awkward, he is confused with my brothers' names too, they usually have misunderstanding coz they don't get along most times because they are basically strangers to each other. even me, or my mom. We were away from him for 14 years. It's just us back in the Philippines before. it affected us, him being used to being alone and us being used to not having him with us at all times. Now we are all together, it is very hard because basically we are a working progress. to getting used to being together in one house. I do not blame him for working abroad, I know it was for us, but the years that was spent apart really took it's toll on us. it is a struggle.

i think the lady obsessed with plastic surgery might have bdd (body dysmorphic disorder). i'm not a psychiatrist but i suffer from this disorder myself and many of the things she says/does seem very familiar to me. also when she saw herself on the screen and tried to find a good angle? the caption was "i like myself", but i think it's the opposite. for me, at least, i take a lot of selfies just to get one picture where i don't look disgusting. when i skype with my girlfriend, i look at my own webcam video a lot and fidget bc i'm trying to find an angle i don't hate. it might not make sense, but people like me look at themselves a lot in hopes of finding something they don't hate. if i had money and weren't scared of surgeries, i probably would get plastic surgery myself. i go to therapy to get help for my disorder, and i wish ara would too. i mean it's her body and she can do whatever she wants with it, but when it becomes a health risk, it's time to get help.

Everyone's talking about the first two concerns because they're so aggravating and sad, but I'm so shook about concern 3. The father/husband should respect other people's bodies. It's not a game if only one person agrees to play. I've heard a few stories elsewhere of similar men who basically assaulted people and made them fear for their lives as a "joke".
