same. i went to church, i went to sunday school. i watched faith based movies, listened to family preach at everyone, even read the bible.... but i was too immature to really understand the depth. sort of like expecting a baby to chew on a steak. But all at once, it all clicked. i like how He sneaks up on you like that and turns the light on. "I SAW THE LIGHT!!!" we all get there some day. even those who swear they dont want to get there.

Derek Prince, like others died having wasted his life in a cult, as it has happened so many times to others. No doubt, he was sincere and well meaning. He was just disobedient to the commandments of Christ and it came at a horrendous price. So, it will befall Walter Veith, Doug Batchelor and all the other SDA self-ordained ministers and you too, if you follow them. When a person was freed from their sin and from the curse of the law by the death and suffering of Christ, then returns to the law for righteousness as the Adventist do, there remains no longer a sacrifice for their sins again. Because, they have returned to the bondage of the law of sin and death, they have trampled on the blood of Christ and have done despite to the Spirit of Grace wherewith they were sanctified putting Christ to open shame. Heb. 10:26-30 It's no different than Judas, the devout Sabbath keepers and "Son of Perdition" betraying Christ with a kiss.

I spent all my life wondering where the wise leader, someone I could look up to for truth and wisdom. It made me go cold when I thought that we die alone. I sort of guessed but I did not know how and why because society has abandoned and become ashamed of Him. Being a philosophy and psychology major, I could relate to his experiences. Once involved with Buddhism, Hinduism like him and at some point became an atheist too . After knowing that a lot of philosophers and psychologists were into occultism and divination, I decided to throw away mostly of my books. I am thankful that the Lord has opened my eyes to see Him alone as the real source of everlasting wisdom. Thank you Jesus for revealing yourself to me.

Brother Prince actually taught that some types of music were a form of sorcery: the guy singing oooooooo ooooooo in the background should be removed.
The cross proves God's love for us and at the same time proves the devil to be liar, since that fake trial Jesus underwent was from the devil.
