- YOUR PROTEIN INTAKE AND MENOPAUSE … yes, it’s one of the most confusing issues that women on my programmes tell me about and after reading a recent newspaper post here in New Zealand, about how ‘more is better’ in midlife, my advice is “more protein is not better when you are feeling hot and bothered, exhausted and have sore joints.”
So, after years of teaching nutrition for sport and exercise science and working in the NZ fitness industry when the ‘more protein’ revolution began here’s my view from me to you. 😊

Thank you Wendy. Would love you to do a video on tofu as so much info out there, most of it not good. I cannot tolerate seafood and do not want to eat animals. Was concerned that tofu would increase weight gain as my breasts seem to increase in size eating soy.
