Chiodos and The Fall of Troy have been my favorite artists since those debut albums, I could hope to hear some Thomas' vocals in this album. To see that now that he's in Chiodos gives me so much hope for this band to keep on keeping on.
"You immediately know its him when he's playing, even when you can't see him." Uh yeah, until this record. He plays almost nothing that stands out or identifies him in any way.
Thomas actually brought their live performances way up. The guy was such a huge draw. However, they didn’t utilize his talents at all for the devil album.
I understand thomas wrote a lot of TFOT, but dude please don't forget thomas and andrew. TFOT are my favourite band ever, saying this is the first 'band' you've been in is disrespectful for the time and effort those guys put in (and continue to put in now your DIY).
Thomas wrote all of the parts to all of TFoT's songs. What he means is this is the first time he's in a band in the sense of sharing ideas and writing songs with other people.
***** Yes. I read an interview in which Thomas claims to have played the drums before ever picking up a guitar. I believe there are a few tracks he did completely by himself in TFoT. (webs comes to mind)
its the first time he hasnt been the leader, hes faced with moments where hes gotta just sit back and go with others ideas because its not "his band" hes part of a band, for the first time. Im sure thats what he was trying to convey
I feel ya...Thomas is the shit...BUT Jason Hale is just the tits when it comes to writing music...ever heard the metal band he was in for a while called KING? look up KING Libertine lol or KING Dreamer or KING Rico
Jason Glisson I'm really bummed that Hale left King. They don't play the intro to Libertine live anymore (one of my favorite intros fucking ever), it's almost like the new guy isn't as good as Jason was.
I have to say the last Chiodos album was my favorite, I can´t believe how much their sound/vibes changed with Thomas as a member.
All honesty, the first few and then some tracks of this album have intro
Good songs, but not enough variation

And now the album is streaming and literally use none of his skills as a guitar shredder.
Tfot is so much better than them though
Yeah, I was fairly disappointed and went back to TFOT .There's some talent in the album though.
Womp womp
Chiodos is missed everyday:/
R.I.P Just Like Vinyl
Hi, Erak fan from the future!! They’re releasing a new album this year!!!
"You immediately know its him when he's playing, even when you can't see him."
Uh yeah, until this record. He plays almost nothing that stands out or identifies him in any way.
lmao
My favorite guitar player plus my favorite vocalist....can't wait
I love he neglects to even acknowledge Just Like Vinyl. Can't wait to see him as something other than a front man.
Okay I didnt even know he was in the band permently! IM EXCITED!!!
Love it
damn.... haven't been into chiodos in a while, but with thomas in there..... I'm looking forward to it because he is so fucking good. damn.
lolz at thomas talking about his previous bandmates as if they were his personal property
Living for Thomas getting down on the intro of bestfriend
this album is going to be so hard!!
Chilling at Mukilteo beach? :)
Ammmmazinggggg
I feel like it was really all that with him and chiodos didnt really work out for that long time being crazy
thomas is the best :3
Even at the time, Thomas was too good to be in Chiodos. I loved the album, but seeing them live was just too bland for how I know Thomas could play.

Taylor Nottage I understand this, but its not a nice thing to call it your first band. I think its bad wording.

He was in another band before Fall of Troy in which he played drums and sang. So I can believe he wrote the drum music too.
Ah, I miss The Fall of Troy so much
TFoT got back together and are releasing a free album later this year or next.
Thomas>Chiodos
i'm sure i'll get some hate for this but, i'd much rather have Jason Hale in my band. ...no offence Thomas, but ya... for sure!
I feel ya...Thomas is the shit...BUT Jason Hale is just the tits when it comes to writing music...ever heard the metal band he was in for a while called KING? look up KING Libertine lol or KING Dreamer or KING Rico
yes sir, King "Anachronism" ...great record!
Adrian Pain that album was too badass...my favorite songs on it are Libertine, dreamer, Rico and Untitled lol but the whole album is sick!!!!
Jason Glisson I'm really bummed that Hale left King. They don't play the intro to Libertine live anymore (one of my favorite intros fucking ever), it's almost like the new guy isn't as good as Jason was.
timeshhift87 don't get me wrong the new shits badass but it'll never be anachorism bad ass ya know
ive always found this band annoying and generic
What is the song at the beggining?
