This taught me something I never knew...the conservator laws in Tennessee, and other Southern states, are CRAZY because basically they don't consider you a legal adult at 18, (like nearly every other place on Earth), to the point where parents have to sign college applications for 18-21 year olds, and that law is basically saying they aren't capable of making their own decisions! 🤯 So there is a whole group of people playing college football, and other college sports being completely exploited.

Man, this was one of my favorite movies and now it's ruined, obviously in movies you have to view the story a bit for entertainment purposes, but damn.

Yeah, the movie also had him slamming these gang members when he KNEW they were armed with guns. That never happened in real life either. I wonder why Michael Oher never complains about that scene? Oh yeah..... 'cause it makes him look like a badass.
I think there is more context to this story that we dont know. Its horrible if its ALL true and his "family" deserves to be sued into oblivion if so, but playing "Devil's Advocate",...why not stir shit up when the book came out,...or the movie,... or sometime over the last 14+ years? Oprah, The View, Dr. Phil, etc. would foam at the mouth to expose this. Im sure an NFL player could find a lawyer to swing this headline through the courts. I dont doubt there was some shady shit in this story and id wager that its gonna end bad.

Always two sides to a story.. Just like the guy keeps saying "Allegedly" and "if it's true" he also keeps saying "they" Tuohys didnt make the movie. Your telling me 20+ years and only now supposedly Mike has a problem with all this. Sounds like Mike has run out of money and wants more. Can you guys do Tuohys side of the story. I have learnt not to believe these UA-cam videos without doing my own research as people make videos on sensitive topics because they know they will get views.

He's been speaking out about it since they made the movie. He's been speaking with the studio since then and probably waiting for them to make it right but they never did so here we go. You can look it up He's gone on interviews speaking against the family from the beginning. Just got to the part he thought he had a contract and found out they have been stealing his money this entire time 😱😡

@@cyrcee77 they made more than that lol plus they both wrote books, started foundations, and have the rights to his name and imagine He can't sign any contracts legally on his own because he's under a Brittany Spears type conservatorship they didn't tell him about. Any deal he signs right now he's legally required to ask permission from them and share the profits with the parents and their 2 kids. They acted like the conservatorship was adoption papers he Signed 4 months after he turned 18. He just found out he wasn't adopted but under conservatorship. He has been speaking out against how he was portrayed but this new info is crazy evil

I have been a supporter of this channel since the beginning. However, you guys need to do further research on this topic. This person you are listening to in this clip is skipping MAJOR FACTS from the familys side of the story. They allegedly sold their over 100 Taco Bell and other businesses and are worth over 200 million dollars pre Michael Oher. His football money, and movie money for that matter, is "chump change" to them. Something stinks to high heaven about Mr. Ohers side of this story. If im wrong, im wrong, and i have no trouble admitting it. But that dude was leaving out huge details that are known to be facts! DO MORE RESEARCH GUYS! LOVE YAS!!
