Nice one Gris! Btw, I used a laser level to cut my base for the birdbath, but I didn't do a very good job. Will most likely need coasters. :D I'll post a pic on the boards. :)

Hi l would like to try a hand pack cement planter. Could you give me your recipe please. They look amazing. I just need the ratio of the ingredients. Many thanks.

Good morning - you are an amazing artist and wonderful teacher. I know this is off topic but have a question about concrete leaves. I have playground sand to mix with the Portland cement. I have been using a VERY fine strainer so there is nothing left but totally smooth beautiful sand but it has taken me almost an hr to sift and not have just over 2 cups. Is it necessary to sift that fine? Thanks

Hi leslie, sorry on vacation haven't been on for a bit.To answer your question, not sure how coarse the playground sand is,but I think it's pretty uniform in size. Why not give it a try without sifting.Let me know how you make out.

Great vid, IU have a question my rubber is lifting off the concrete master, what could I put on the concrete before I put the latex on to stop the rubber from lifting.

Hi Stuart, there can be a few reasons for lifting . Make sure your piece is very clean ,no dirt or oil etc. You should seal it first either with concrete sealer (2 coats), or with spray on shellac, 2 or 3 coats.

Hello! You’ve inspired me to finally make the leaf fountain I’ve been planning for years.
How would you connect the leaves to make a fountain?
    Thank you so much! 😃

So many ways ,but most common is to make a metal cradle for them to sit in.You can use "L" brackets that you would use to put up a wall shelf. You can use bricks, or tamped earth.

Gris.... I work hard and sometimes I cant give pieces away 😂 can you do a video on your hand packed planters... those are my favorite way to make planters but I suck at using iron oxide....

@@mrconcreteartisan if you can make money and earn a reasonable living from something you enjoy doing then your a lucky man ,good luck to you M8 ,,,,it's a shame we only get the one video a week but I guess there's only so much you can say about latex moulding and fiberglassing, ,,,,, maybe you could choice one particular item (technical / or not straight forward ) and go through the whole process , choosing the item ,explaining the complexity and potential pit falls ,problems that may occur through the process , lataxing it ,fiberglassing /de- moulding then your first mould ,,,,the complete process of it start to finish ,, but show your self doing it not just after the event as it would be interesting to see ,when I'm fiberglassing it's akin to a child trying to make a cake ,,,,just a thought M8
