It breaks my Heart again and again when Neal say "Anytime anything goes wrong, i am the first Person you blame" That is so sad, but on the other Hand so true. If we look back on every Season it was always Neal who gave everything for Peter and the FBI and anyway it was never enough 💔💔💔 Great Video! I really love it a lot 😘
I’m currently watching this show (I know, I’m way tardy to the party, lol) and while I agree that Peter is too hard on Neal sometimes, Neal makes it very hard for Peter to trust him. Most of the time Peter’s suspicions about Neal being up to something have been correct. Even Elizabeth, who has a soft spot for Neal, has told Neal that Peter wants to trust him but that Neal doesn’t make it easy. While he’s no monster, Neal’s always had a bit of a wanderlust. Peter knows this, as does Mozzie. (Mozzie even said to Neal when Neal chose not to leave NY, “You’re kidding yourself if you think this is who you really are.”) Because of that, and because of who Neal and Peter are, there’s always going to be that tension between them, no matter how much they care about each other. (No disrespect meant! And I agree that this is a great video.)
It was a slow burn but their friendship stood the test of time. Neal could have stayed dead to Peter. But somehow, because they eventually have become true family Neal could not keep being dead to Peter. That was the best ending to a great great show. From beginning to end, I will always love Whitecollar. I miss them greatly. ❤️
Love White Collar, so piss with Peter the way he is treating Neal, If it wasn't for Neal he be still in prison, Why! isn't he mad with Elizabeth, she the one who asked Neal to do what ever it takes to get Peter out of prison. She surely must have thought that if Peter finds out, he be so totally angry with Neal, and possibly send him back to prison.
Ayla Alya I agree with you but I don’t think he wanted out of the life. I believe the reason he went to Paris was to be apart of the heist that Gordon Taylor invited them on in season 3, one of the creators of the show said he was going off to Paris to continue stealing. This is what he said, "it is my universe and I'm free to do with it what I want and I think Neal going to Paris to because the greatest thief in the world is the most fun option." The show alluded to him continuing his life of crime after he was free several times as well, most importantly, with the newspaper found in the storage unit about the louvre in Paris improving their security, suggesting that that’s his next target.
I have to agree with you Peter was wrong. The system was corrupt long before Neal came along he was just accepting the new Normal and trying not to make enemies within the government.
Am I the only one who always thought Peter was kind of an asshole? He cares more about following the rules than helping people, because as long as he follows the rules, nothing that happens next is his fault. He's practically even said as much. He cuts Neal down at the slightest provocation, even when he's doing the exact same things as him, because Neal is a 'criminal' and he is a paragon of justice and righteousness and he can't accept any reality where that's not true. Peter would rather feel right than be right. Neal cares more about people than Peter ever has, and Peter lashes out the hardest whenever that gets hard to ignore.
No, you're not the only one. Season 5 and 6 Peter especially made a completely illogical 180, going from largely acepting Neal as he is and trusting him and his ability to reform back to "a criminal is all you are" and complete distrust. He abandoned Neal when he needed him most and he hurt him over and over. It's no wonder Neal ended up running (btw, I refuse to believe he returned to being a criminal). Neal deserved freedom, without his past mistakes being lorded over his head constantly. Especially since Neal was never and never will be a bad man. He's got his heart in the right place and he's got strong morals (Amy Harris, just saying. It was Neal who begged for another way instead of hurting her and the FBI who denied it). There is a definite double-morale here- when Neal does something "illegal" for a case, he's bad and a criminal, but the FBI does the same and is "right" and "just". I loved seasons 5 and 6, but I hated what happened to Peter and Neal's relationship- and honestly? The fault lies more with Peter (and El) there. He treated Neal like scum and as if he was nothing more than a criminal. Where the hell was season 3 and 4's Peter: "Neal deserves his freedom" and "I told him to run. If he got hurt, I couldn't take it."
This is the primary reason why I never put much stock in the Neal/Peter bromance! He cutting remarks to Neal were hurtful. It was not what he said but how he said them! While he really wanted a relationship with Neal he was too insecure and a 'tad' jealous to be a good friend!
You nailed it! The relationship between Peter and Neal and how terrible Peter is acting this season (or the writers are making him act). I hate that he's back to calling Neal a 'criminal' again, and I'm depressed by the way things are going....Peter is getting worse, I'm afraid the writers will not make him come to his senses, that they want to end the series, and that Neal will end up in jail, running forever, or dead. It's been very depressing this season, and I hate the way Peter has been acting (especially not even listening when Neal tells him how he 'saved' his life and job). Your video caught all of that exactly the way I thought about it in my own head. Well done indeed!
Thank you so much for your nice words! You're amazing. I also think that Peter was too harsh with Neal and didn't really try to understand the reasons for his actions. Peter was the only person who was constantly trying to convince Neal that he's a lot more than just a conman, that he can change... Neal was obviusly hurt by the fact that now his best friend, the man he trusts on most was the one who called him a criminal, when all he did was indeed only trying to help Peter. I felt sad for Neal for his friend didn't try to understand how clear his motifs were. This time he didn't just steal something for kicks, he did it because it was the only option he and Peter had. This time he didn't deserve what he got. But I believe that our favourite conman and FBI agent will find a way to fix the things between them and I hope that the writers will give them the happy ending they deserve.
+RadostinaCharmed First of all, thank you much for the amazing work! I have started this series on March, and finished it on June. I feel kinda late to comment but... to think that... [SPOILERS OF FINAL] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . To think these two couldn't get a happy ending made me sob constantly for 2 hours. But in the end what Peter did to his baby healed me a bit. Now he will always be looking after Neal... :')
lauramartha3 I agree, Peter is nasty. very cruel, Neal tried to help his friend, his father killed someone and let Peter take the fall, yet Peter is ungrateful because Neal wanted justice served. His words just crushed Neal. The look on his face is heartbreaking, he's so broken by the cruel wordxi
The only reason he didn't send Neal back was self preservation. If he sent Neal back to prison he might tell and ruin Peter's career and put him back on death row.
... *sobs like a wuss* This BETTER get rectified by the end of the season, and then the 6th season (which HAS to be announced/confirmed) should have nothing but fluff as compensation for breaking our hearts over and over again with a mallet... >_
Neal saves Peter's ass and this is what he gets for it? Neal's faking his death will be found out eventually. But for a,while he can live without hearing someone call him a criminal .
Likewise. Your White Collar videos are pure perfection. =) Thanks for your awesome comment, I really appreciate it. I'm sure Peter will come to his senses, eventually (The sooner the better). I also can't wait for the next episode. These two weeks will be the longest in my life.
Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate the fact that you spared some of your time to write one. Indeed, Peter and Neal are like family. That's what I love about their relationship, that's the thing that makes it so unique and captivating. I hope that they will find a way to fix their relationship after the latest events in the show...
Love White Collar Peter and Neil are my two favorites, they know each other like the back of their hands sometimes they keep us in suspense which makes my heartbeat faster, this is like a James Patterson, and John Grasham both mixed into one my two favorite Authors. I just cannot wait for the new season to come mean time am watching it all over again, makes the story my understanding to me, the producer did an amazing job, on this movie also the camera man, and the dress artist, who gave them the right clothes for the year and seasons, All the best to the Film. Directors and all who are involved in the White Collar
Heart touching video it is Thank you 💖 But I don't know why exactly people are blaming Peter more in here Peter shouldn't have said frequently you are con man criminal I totally agree with that that's so wrong of him but at the same time Neal has given him more reasons and for him Peter has put his career and life on line It's like siblings fight We say the things we shouldn't so the other one comes clean I'm not taking anybody's side but it's how exactly happens a true bromance I'm happy they mend it
+good for luke Of course, I use Sony Vegas. There are a few versions of the program, I'm currently using version 12 and have no complaints. Version 10 was also good, I used to work with it before.
Peter no don't treat him like he is a criminal he doesn't deserve to be treated like that. What he does deserve is respect plz plz stop plz just stop treating him like he is a criminal plz plz plz just stop and leave him be plz don't treat him like he's a criminal. It saddens me that ya don't even care about him & it all saddens him that ya don't fully trust him he deserves better than that he doesn't deserve to be treated like a criminal. And Peter I have a lot of admiration for him so plz plz be kind to him & stop trying to treat him like a criminal can ya do that for me plz & Peter would be like ok fine but & I'm like no but's I want ya to promise me & never let go of that promise & Peter is like fine I promise and I'd thank ya & Peter would like yeah. Now as far as Keller goes he's the criminal and if he knows that my brother is alive he will stop at nothing to get rid of him & Peter would be like not if he doesn't know that ya & Neal are in Paris & I'm like oh thnx boss and he's like yeah you're welcome kiddo now go & I'm like remember this boss my brother is not a criminal he is a person who cares about his family & has a heart of gold he is worthy of my love & I will keep him safe from the world around him and yeah that includes Keller.
Kinda like my own life right now . I keep telling myself to stay focused be patient but these, veiled threats my sister keeps making have me scared to do anything that might lead to freedom. But the situation comes down to a promise to the dead and my own survival, what promises do you keep and which do you break? Being threatened every day with a cage and drugs is so hard for me. What should I do?
Then this past Saturday a van from a local place I don't want to be shows up. And I am forced to go hide in the local covenstead with the kids who ran away from home to avoid certain stupid parental choices. This was in tolerable but I am still here.
It breaks my Heart again and again when Neal say "Anytime anything goes wrong, i am the first Person you blame" That is so sad, but on the other Hand so true. That’s because Peter was an opp
They were acting, it was a sting operation, they were pretending, they weren't themselves in those scene
This was amazing, I loved how you portrayed the angst, Neal's anguish and Peter's lack of trust, giving up their partnership. Perfect.
I remember those days and those lines perfectly.... I was really really pissed with Peter and I never made peace with any of it
