Amazing how people were able to find a solution for such a debilitating illness
Even more amazing how people now are ignoring said solution

Chosenbap those parents who choose not to vaccinate are child abusers and should be thrown in jail. They don’t care about anyone but themselves and they will cause a mass epidemic if they are not stopped

Did you watch all the segments? We spend a lot of time talking about Dr. Sabin and his accomplishments.

I've got the Sabin vaccine, it was mandatory for us in the school. My father unfortunately got polio when he was 11 months old, just 1 month before the vaccine became available in our country (Romania). He survived, but his right leg never developed muscles, so he is handicapped since childhood, but strong willed and fully independent. He needed multiple surgeries so that his leg could be somewhat functional. Don't ignore the severity of this disease, people!

Technology has created a major rift in our society.
Our so called elected officials and the media do nothing but create strife and hatred amongst the people.
This country used to be civil.
      It’s slowly eroding.

During my childhood, polio was absolutely terrifying. There was a quarantine & doors would be marked with yellow tape. The swimming pools were closed.
We didn't go to the beach out of fear. I was 14 in 1955 when the vaccine was offered. I got Salk vaccine. I livedd across the Bay and my cousin was a scientist,
at Cutter labs. One of their batches was bad & a friend of mine got polio from her vaccination. She became a paraplegic. 4 years later she died of pneumonia,
related to the faulty vaccine. I can't tell you how important the vaccines were in giving us a normal life. Please make sure your kids are protected from Polio.

They didn’t shut down the world for polio. Which was/is far more serious than COVID.

Quark1217: We all shut down our worlds. Didn't go anywhere. Polio was not more serious than COVID. They were both serious. But Polio wouldn't kill you right away, altho people did die. Can you imagine being in an iron lung from babyhood through old age?

Opera Browser No because the vaccine caused some people to have the disease. Remember that the vaccine consists of a weakened or inactivated virus from polio.

One should not and can not put coronavirus and polio next to each other. Polio is far more dangerous.

The reason why some parents do not vaccinate their children is 1: because there are concerning preservatives in vaccines and 2: no vaccines work on kids with weak immune systems. Usually kids with immune disorders require more intensive treatment. These kids can still get polio with an outbreak even if they were vaccinated. My own child has an immune disorder. Shes vaccinated but the vaccines mean nothing to her with her immune disorder. She can still get it if there is another outbreak. Could my sweet girl get it from people who are not vaccinated, I really dont know. Disease is disease and there is often no one to blame it just happens. I can understand why a person may not vaccinate: however; I wish there was a stronger boundary when it comes to protecting kids like my daughter.

    • @DavidWasserVideo
      @DavidWasserVideo  6 років тому +18

The preservative in vaccines you are referencing was discontinued about twenty years ago. While people like your daughter may be the exception--those without an immune disorder are doing their own children and society as a whole a huge disservice by not using the most cost effective preventive health measure ever conceived.

Elizabeth Witz Im sorry to hear that but it's great that they are doing all this research, who knows, maybe one day they'll find a way to therapeutically develop a bad immune system

Parents in Sweden blame their choice on NOT vaccinating on the possibility for their child to develop autism (something that isn’t proven scientifically)

Ode to science working chemistry not alchemy. The difference explained using fusion to erase con fusion.
Chemistry works synergistically. Things fused are done so because they would not naturally stick together otherwise. Also once fused, never a permanent fusion is realized. Another example is Sanskrit vs. Latin. Sanskrit is chemistry or synergy. God working within laws of nature. Latin is alchemy, sorcery, fusion, working against laws of nature , my two cents added to the pennies heaven sent. Amen.
