  • In the terminology of Turkish Islamic architecture, the concept of "divanhane" has a wide place in definitional terms. The concept of "Divanhane" refers to the venues used for some important ceremonies such as the state affairs of the palaces, where the state affairs are discussed, the council delegation comes together, and the acceptance of the ambassador. In addition, in palaces belonging to members of the dynasty and state dignitaries, on the other hand, in wide-ranging houses such as pavilions, mansions, mansions and mansions, the large spaces where the hosts receive their guests are also called divanhane. Considering the administrative function it undertakes, the concept of "divanhane" has been an architectural formation with concrete and abstract values, although it has been named differently in the palace architecture of many civilizations that took place in the history scene.
