Disney originally used the green warning screens from 1991 until 2000. In late 2000, they sold them to DIC Entertainment after they started using blue ones (mainly because Disney used to own them from 1996-2000, until they were independent again and until they merged with Cookie Jar) and DIC started using them, even on Ncircle’s releases of Mario, Sonic, The Legend of Zelda, and many others from the 80s to 90s (with the exception of Horseland, which uses NCircle’s normal warning screen), and that was a reference to when Buena Vista Home Entertainment used to distribute DIC’s content on VHS when they were owned by Disney, but I don’t understand since that was when they were no longer owned by The Walt Disney Company and two years before they defunct.
I had the DVD for this but lost it, but I remember every single advertisement in the DVD. And it's been 8 years. The intros are still stuck in my head.
Something tells me that sonic underground must have been a big thing because I've seen the DVD trailer for almost all DVD that have the incircle logo on it

I think they were doing that for nostalgia purposes for 80s and 90s fans.
Big people shows in the closing

The Cookie Jar logo plastered the 1990 version of the 1987 DiC logo.
Along with the NCircle logo plastering the warp-speed version of the 1986 Viacom logo.
