- Second Half of Part three of a ongoing series, Mainframe: The Reboot Retrospective follows in the footsteps of Linkara's History of Power Rangers, MovieBob's Really That Good, and other like minded shows to take an in depth look at a series while giving critical analysis.
In this episode, we finish off the rest of season three, detailing the adventures into the web, the fight to save the system, and the end of the original series of ReBoot.

I once paused the show to see if the decrypted password actually spelt something. If you convert it into ACSII, it spells out YADDAYADDAYADDA!

I just realized the impressive feat reboot season 3 pulled off...it essentially VERY QUICKLY changed the entire show by introducing entirely new characters " Matrix, Adult AndrAIa, Surfer " and making them the main characters of every episode after they are introduced- the show we know had essentially been postponed and yet it was done well enough that I didn't feel alienated or disappointed that the reboot I came to watch had been swapped.

The fight between Matrix and Megabyte, for me, is right up there, with regards to quality character development and conclusive impact, with Dinobot’s last stand in “Code of Hero”

I loved the fact the the saving grace at the end of the season was completely out of the Main characters hands, forcing them to rely on the User. a being usually depicted as antagonistic to the cities well being, but ultimately when it really mattered the User's power is the only thing that was able to save them from Megabytes bane. Wonderful review as usual Professor, looking forward to your season 4 review. I just wish there was more classic reboot for you to review. XD
U didn't talk about the noticeable changes in the characters faces and animation's in their mouths.

An interesting observation I've made:
Hexadecimal is like Discord; an antagonistic entity of Chaos, both thrive on madness and not conforming to the flow.
However, both of them regardless maintain a consistent form despite [Discord at least] having the ability to turn himself into whatever he wishes [I would assume hex has similar if not the same abilities] Discord will always be the same amalgamation of parts while Hex was always stuck with static faces.
Its only as Hex becomes less static does her power start to leave her [as seen in season 4] It would appear to me that both entities of Chaos seem to [at least subconsciously] require some consistency in order to maintain their chaotic nature
Series 3 was the best season of ReBoot.
This is my favorite season of ReBoot.
Seeing ReBoot season 3 made me realise why villains from american cartoons are so damn incompetent: censorship!

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised that if ReBoot were made today on Adult Swim that it wouldn't have actually happened on screen. Because, Damn, Adult Swim shows some really amazing shit.

How did a a "Game Sprite" survive the crash?
Probably the same way that Hexadecimal, a virus, did. It's show by us that Phong can go and register near everyone at the principal office and by that point of the story, AndrAIa's Icon had already been changed so that it could be a regular one instead of her Game Sprite one. It's probably also how they would explain that 'game sprite mode' function that just so happens to appear in the series so Enzo and friends aren't deleted by the games.

Well, the only reason I even split it up originally was because It was getting super long. But it also allowed me to go and give everyone part one earlier then later. I'm also trying to be better about uploading in general, sooo :P

Yes. Season Four is still happening. I've just been having a LOT on my plate recently. My current plan before I put it out is to make sure I've got a good backlog of videos for you guys so I can make sure to get at LEAST 2 videos out a week. That's the current plan.

Not a bother at all. Just saying why you guys haven't seen me in... what... four months now? It's because real life and a full time job get in the way. I'm wanting to make sure I can get out constant videos for you guys that aren't Let's Plays, so yeah. That means doing a lot of videos before hand and releasing them over the course of weeks.
