I laughed when she said ‘my husband will kill me if I buy any more plates’..I can definitely relate..my husband now feels invaded by my plates, pillows and art collection..! I really admire men who have this avid passion for decorating as I or we do! 😅
Hahaha. Same! While I understand why they don’t understand I also don’t understand why they don’t understand. All I know is I can always justify a new plate. Do you take just one sip of water when you’re thirsty? No? Well’ there you go!
I once visited Hillwood, Marjorie Merriweather Post's Washington, D.C. home when she was married to then ambassador to the Soviet Union. She had enough sets of dishes to feed 36 people for two full weeks wthout repeating the pattern. I only have seven sets, and they're not complete. We don't eat out often, so it's nice to change the dishes for each meal. If I had more room, I'd definitely buy more dishes.
Beautiful table settings, and it would be a privilege to be invited as a guest to any of the seen hosts. I especially could listen for hours to Alex Papachristidis, describing with such passion all his collections. ❤
Homeworthy, you never fail to disappoint! You keep coming up with interesting homes and features and I cant keep up 😅! My nights become morning because I stay up too late and dozing off at mid-watch viewing your shows!
O watched the whole thing better than Netflix! Haha loooove these videos and this was a great one, I appreciate you letting them talk and explain things as much as they want... Ladies don't forget to see it all! All table settings were 😮❤❤❤
Interesting seeing how these people enjoy their fine china and use it often. I was just reading an article saying that millennials don’t want their boomer parents China , silver etc., because it was rarely used when they were growing up and they prefer more casual dinner settings and inexpensive stuff.
i am extremely happy to see i am not the only one with such of mental disorder. I have OCD and attention to details is what keep me going. Why not to have lot of thing for different occasions ??? What is wrong with that? There are a lot of famous people out there with a successful career that have this obsession and nobody y tell them , "You need help", right?
When he said he had a set of dishes by Royal Crown Darby, it immediately reminded me of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced bouquet) and her infatuation with Royal Dooten dishware 😂😂😂
Bob Gibbs home is ," pure class." This will take a lot to," top this house." The painting is absolutely erotic. There are two initials with & in the middle. People come and eat from the ," person covered in food." For sure this would be a hell of a party! 😅
I have some royal Albert but I don’t entertain and was not brought up that way. Children all grown and have their families I like to go there not my house because home unorganized and not big enough for my style because I love a lot of things
The 50s-70s in my opinion had the ugliest home interiors in history. It makes me laugh when I see people coveting mid century furnishings. It was ugly then and guess what its still ugly. I would much prefer classic french and english furniture that stands the test of time.

Me gustó mucho las decoraciones de las dos ultimas casas, la de la Joven, muchacha y la del señor de lentes negros, ambos tienen exelentes gustos
Many of the collections reminded me of the beautiful China, Crystal & Silver collections carried at Tiffany's, 5th Ave flagship store back in the day.
