Yep he bridges generations, and nearly all the biggest names in downhill that have come and gone over the years have all battled directly for the win with Minnaar. He's the Graham Jarvis of downhill.
Me either but he poor quality of the copy probobly adds to the retro effect, I cant remember where i got it but I assume was probably recorded to VHS off the TV then digitized at some point probobly cheaply by someones home setup and has gone through who knows how meany uploads/downloads and format changes ect in the 20 years since, defiantly gives it that 1970's look.
Lost my saddle in a similar crash at a midlands super series race years ago. All ways down people were shouting “don’t sit down” Walked back up the track and found it afterwards.
A whole load of riders I've never heard of or only know as managers etc....and then there's Greg. 20 years later and he's still there🐐

I REALLY don't remember the early 2000s looking this retro. But I guess it has just been that long!

Its the same with people you know, as you get older your friends seem to look the same now as 20 years ago, then just look at the photos XD
