Looks GREAT! 'specially those bars. Real interested in what's involved in swapping the mini apes for those Breakout bars. Did you utilise all the stock switch gear and routing etc? would you happen to have a part no. for the bars (or the pull back dimensions etc) and those of the risers. REALLY want to swap out the mini apes on my ladies new 2019 as her arms aren't that long. We are running the same AC and TBR 2into1!! would like to DM you if that is possible to get further details (on the other side of the world from ya) cheers H
Sorry for the late reply, standard Breakout bars (I’d probably go the Dyna S bars as they’re a bit shorter) standard switches and risers were called Fat Risers from Harley, they are pullback style. The cost I can fitting were roughly $1700 ish👍 It’s a good feel although a bit of a stretch with my custom seat👊🏻
@@CorkerCK1 no worries, thanks for getting back to me! I got in touch with the HarleyHeaven.com.au who I believe supplied the parts (I spied it on another of your posts). They were SUPER helpful and sent over the entire shopping list. FANTASTIC looking bike!
Thanks Rick, 6ft Brother 👍 It’s more of a reach now with the low custom seat but I got used to it with a few rides and now don’t even think about it. The only time it comes to mind is when I’m on the gas hard off the lights and hanging on with my finger nails 😂👊🏻
@@CorkerCK1 Thanks for the reply. Did the seat lower the position much. Which seat was it? I found one for her a sadlemen seat in the states that lowers her but haven't located one out here yet.
@@IamBlackdragon hey Greg, same issue here! My lady is 5'2" and struggles with the reversing (tip of her toes vs the weight of the bike) She's got a flat foot to the ground when parked. So also considering lowering kits for the FXBB
Hi Heath I bought a HD Badlander seat for her. It gives her the secure feel of not sliding off the back when powering. The seat is a lot narrower at the front and slightly lower. She said she feels more comfortable all round and can even push the bike backwards now a lot easier than before. Was a fairly cheap fix. Morgan & Wackers got a new one out & stuck it on a new bike so she could test sit in the show room.
would be interesting to see your riding position with the drag bars + forward controls

Corker, love the bars man. How tall are you? It’s not too much of a reach?
Thanks Rick, 6ft Brother 👍

How much total cost for the breakout bars conversion? Thank you.
Approximately $1700 including fitting brother👍
Looks good. How did you lower the back? My parnter is on tips of toes so looking at trying a new seat orlowering. Thanks
Thanks Greg, lowering kit can be purchased by Harley Heaven Australia.
It only takes half an inch off, the seat made the biggest difference😎
