    I heard he lost his health insurance recently. I've got a gut feeling he ended it all in the lake behind his apartment. I hope i'm wrong, but no other security footage of him in the area after this many days and he left his wallet, hat, phone and gear at home. They plan on using dogs and sonar this weekend at the lake. With his health issues and no insurance, it would destroy him financially.

      @@TheBigdog868 Right, unless he is under one of the many docks or pontoon boats on that lake. Not sure how the current is on Boone Lake.

      Why destroy? He was kicked off medicaid because he made too much money and didn’t use said money to buy insurance. Life is about choices…or as Gump said, “stupid is as stupid does.”

    Is anybody checking with Canada and Mexico? He could have ridden there, possibly detained, for having no paperwork.

    When it's all said and done, Hobo will emerge unscathed. If anything, it's something mental that has weighed him down and I pray that in the meantime, God watched over him and his safety.

      This is as bad as the ridiculous psychic who said stupid stuff that was public and some false. Why is everyone making assumptions. It is far from a creek. I live 2 mins from Mark (Shoestring). It is a lake that spans multiple counties. There is anything that could have happened. The lake is half empty right now, and most of the shore is sand still due to the lake being down. They shut the one damn and open the other for winter. We have the Appalachian trail here, mountains, woods, and countless places. Saturday, we will know a bit more if we don't find anything out in the meantime.

      @@warhamsterful Not taking his stuff its likely he's not far and its a body we're looking for, a body would have turned up if it was out in t he open so the water is the next logical place to look. That being said theres still a chance he left all dellusional on medications. When i used to take those sedative meds for fun i'd run around everywhere while leaving my stuff behind. Im surprised he's faired ths well on the rails all doped out on those perscribed meds. I have a feeling he was also reliant on them and even exploiting his medical issues to get more. Its what opiate addicts do after injuries. I dont want to disparage him for that anyway, its a tough addiction and easy to slip into and easy to fool yourself why you need more. All the other meds that help you sleep were just asking for trouble, when i took those drugs for fun with others we'd constalnyl loose thing, leave our stuff unintetionally. So I hope its just that but unforutnatley its look like a medical drug induced accident.

    Why glorify hopping trains and trespassing?

    • @dennisrobinett7582
      @dennisrobinett7582 7 місяців тому +12

      The tail end of an era here. During the Great Depression, thousands rode trains as they had no other way to travel. The railroads, for the most part, understood and just looked the other way. My dad was one of those hobos who rode the trains to find work. Who knows, those days just might return.

    • @oldhoghead5601
      @oldhoghead5601 7 місяців тому

      Exactly.... glorifying an ILLEGAL and DEADLY activity. Any able-bodied person that can hop a train can WALK, but no, they want to be "national treasures" and fantasze about the so-called glory days. What a joke, instead of using their lives doing something constructive, the want to be Kings of The North. That movie was good, but different era, different circumstances, different men and women..
