Trying to learn After Effects and its pretty neat that you can do raw Java scrip code directly if needed. I have some background with programming and when he says to have Math.round() while that does work it changes 0.5 seconds early. You can either fix this by offset it by half a second or you can replace the code to say Math.floor(). It works better in the time line, that way in the time line one second shows one second. Hope this quick fix helps anyone.
I think so. I made the mistake by moving the anchor point in the middle of the triangle but that made them rotate around their axis so if you change the anchor point of the triangle to the center of the main circle it should circle around it instead. Hope it make sense.
Does anybody know how I can make a motion graphic template from this for premiere? I want that I can type a percentage, so the circle closes and counts up till that number, without going into After Affects
Thanks Sir, what if I want the end number to be below 100, and by then the trim path to be complete not half way. I`m animating a 24hr clock but the stroke stops halfway at 24%
Thank you very much for this video but I want to know that how did you put all anchor point in the centre of each object? Because manually anchor point adjustment becomes inappropriate
You've probs figured it out, but if you hold Ctrl and double click the Pan Behind (Anchor Point) tool next to the Ellipse tool it should centrally align your anchor
Nice tutorial. When the number goes from 1 to 2 to 3 characters my text "jumps" around, the anchor point shifts position - any idea as how to combat this?
I don't know if you still have this problem but what you can do is set a position key frame when the number is 9 and then align it again when the number is ten.
when I make a triangle shape and rotate it to 90degree and within that shape how you take rotation again and make it move according to the circle?? as if i rotate it , it rotate the shape of the triangle not according to the axis of the cricle.
So I apologize if this is a dumb question, but how do I reverse the numbers? I'm working on a Yugioh Life Point counter and this will work very well, but I'm just wondering how to reverse it to show numbers going down? Thanks in advance
Quick question. A problem I run into is every time that I duplicate a shape layer and scale it, it is not not aligned which forces me to play with the align tab whilst adjusting the scale to find the perfect spot. I'm clearly doing something wrong, I'm just not sure what. Once again, whenever I scale a shape layer, it is no longer aligned and I have to re-align it annoyingly.
What if I want to connect path with null to sth like one of those triangles in this video? Anchor point is moved so I can't connect direct to the wiggling triangle, so is there any work around? After is kind of new to me, anyone knows any solution?
That is a good question. I'd like to know if I can turn a graphic into a data driven graphic without having to do it manually. I don't see how it would work without getting into code land. Imagine the CSV had 50 values. You'd need an extra column in the CSV that specifies at what time the graphic is supposed to correspond to the value. Given the graphic is not a real time thing, it is only an animation that is rendered, you'd need code to marry the CSV values with the timeline before render. Is a good question definitely.

Incredibly useful. Thank you!
Thank you! Through you I learned to like motion design.
AMAZING!!! You are the best!!
I'm gonna try this right now. Hopefully, I can finally have a timer for my *Workout videos*
Thanks very much🧡
you guy i adore you man yo work is cool
Hei all, pls note the decimal remove code is: x=Math.floor(effect("Slider Control")("Slider"));
thanks :D
Amazing. Just Amazing! Thanks!!!
From noob to guru, I love you
Thank you so much for this!!!
Great Tutorial
I'm happy you're helping people, and I'm a let you finish, but is that bojack horseman? @7:57

Superb. I want to say more, but superb is a start. Oh, also, awesome. Yup, superb and awesome.
Another great tutorial! I was just looking at premade infographics this morning and viola, you put out a tutorial! lol
Perfect timing!
What background are you using? It looks really nice
Thank you! Made this video a while ago, but I think I took a picture and made it really dark.
Great Work Sir.
did you move the anchor point of the triangles to the middle to make them orbit around the rest of the stuff?

Greetings from Turkey 👋
So dope!
great tutural, thank you very much
you da real mvp, thanks very much for the instructions
Thanks dude!
Amazing Thanks, Transition shifter part is new which I have learned
This is great, thanks! Will definitely look to use something like this in the future.
Awesome....👌.....detailed tutorial
thanks
nice tutorial, but the resolution of the screen is too high for my computer...
Hi guys, so am confused, what software is this you using?
Wonderful
Would it be possible to use an adjustment layer instead of scaling all the layers individual layers? New to AE
In future videos could you please zoom on in what you're typing and clicking because it so tiny it's very hard to see. Besides that it's all great
Same experience as your others tuts. I would really like to learn from your videos but in general is hard to smoothly learn and follow what you do
I just spent 45 minutes on your tuts and its still at 2.46 :D
Why you cut the part where you change stroke angle. Just in case I would like to know. I don't expect you'll answer back
Thank you!! Could you make more tutorials with other type of graphs?
awesome!!
If I want to a triangle along a line, what would be the expression?
how do you keep the numbers centered going from 1, to 2, 3 digits? it seems like it automatically adjusts for you.
genius moment there. I forgot to center justify in the paragraph tab. thank you another great tutorial
Good call! I should have mentioned that in the tut!
@@donp244 i have been scouring the comments for this question. you are a life saver. thank you!
Just Perfection (Y)
Thanks

did you find an answer to this from anywhere? i am stuck with this too.
Big fan NOAH
thanks for tutorial ....

Math. floor(effect("Slider Control")("Slider"));
Thanks for this bro!It works
Thanks

same here ! did you find a solution ?
Same here, drives me nuts!
When you create the text layer, just click anywhere in the composition and write the number, instead of dragging to create a text box
@@jarlfrederik7573 hey did you guys find anything on this ?
how do can you do the trim path with negative numbers ???? for example from 0 to -120
why that plug-in animation composer 3 will override some my expression, those little triangle won't move anymore and also 2 missing
V-neck 10/10
I only have one shirt that isn't v-neck haha
Very nice tutorial. Is it possible for you to guide or create tutorial to create something like this (@?
Thanks. 03:00 Math.round (), good tip to lose those decimals
How to made a pointer?
Perfectö ✌🏼
plz show the Equation
thank you
when I center my number, it is centered until it hits double digits, then it is moved out of alignment...
I don't know if you still have this problem but what you can do is set a position key frame when the number is 9 and then align it again when the number is ten.
Thank so much for this tuto.
Please how can I install animationcomposer ?
Check the link in the description.
Thank you bro I don't understand a code in transform in after effect how I know number and write?
when I make a triangle shape and rotate it to 90degree and within that shape how you take rotation again and make it move according to the circle?? as if i rotate it , it rotate the shape of the triangle not according to the axis of the cricle.
Humble suggestion, need to be zoomed to the point where the cursor is showing, sometimes not visible what actually is happening.
Also how do you stop at a certain number?
where animation preset l can't find in your link?
how can i set the slider threshold to 10 instead of 100 and make the numbers able to be decimals like 5.6 etc..
3:49
6:07
Not clear on number method...if you show on screen that text
So I apologize if this is a dumb question, but how do I reverse the numbers? I'm working on a Yugioh Life Point counter and this will work very well, but I'm just wondering how to reverse it to show numbers going down? Thanks in advance
clock in 100 and set another clock out like 10, link to express
The text expression is not working for me...can u please give that expression in the comment ...

MC Gaming you’re not the only one. I think it has to do with the anchor point which somehow he has centered automatically. I can’t find how to do that
Superrrrr
4:33 he stopped the timer intentionally at that number 😂
Nasty dude ;)

I am not clear. You have written the text (3.03 Sec) time of video
What is that code I didn't understand please reply sir
nice
so fckn good
Can AE read a CSV and use that info to control graphics?
That is a good question. I'd like to know if I can turn a graphic into a data driven graphic without having to do it manually. I don't see how it would work without getting into code land. 0 to 9 numbers are in centre but when the numbres go up to10 and more they aren't in centre of the comp
Yep, I had the same issue. Wish he addressed that. Not sure why his is working. Mine also didn't scale like his did at the very end.
In the UA-cam video window, click on Settings, change Playback Speed to 0.75x. You're welcome.
Спасибо. Кое что я для себя почерпнул. Пойду тренироваться на своем канале 😃
You say it too fast too low res to see what you have typed. Can't understand what you are saying. So Tutorial ended there for me.
2:49 just add "Math.round[.........................]"
