I just stumbled onto this scene. I haven't seen this movie in 37 years! Oh without a doubt it was my favorite for a while! The song with Helen reddy was absolutely amazing! Wouldn't you know I stumbled onto the most iconic scene in the movie!!!
Well a lot of people don’t know, is that it wasn’t his girlfriends little sister. And Tom Sullivan‘s real life, it was his daughter. In my opinion, Marc Singer was made for this role! I saw him in a couple of movies after this one of them being beastmaster, with the TV show good Times actor James Amos, was watchable. Definitely not a movie that hit it big in the theaters or even on video. Thank goodness for HBO back in the day.

surprised this movie fell into a black hole so to speak. yeah, a bit corny at times, but still very good. its not even on amazon!
My very favorite movies are often ones no one else likes or was very unpopular. High Road to China is one. This is another.
