- robertkeeley.c... The ECCOS Delay Looper is based on a new stereo, flanged delay tone. Create beautiful sounding tape style delay lines and then spin them endless with the Looper! Designed to be at home in live pro rigs or bedroom studios while experimenting. The Keeley ECCOS is a delay-looper workstation with superb sound quality and abundant features.
Spirits in the Material World! Happy New Year. Thanks for the inspiration to pick up my guitar or bass when I don't feel like playing.
Nice delay! Very organic sound, and I love the modulation effect too. Good for our material world...
Delay modulation that doesn't go "wha-wee-wha-wee"? Robert, I'm in!
Exactly!!!
wha wee wha wee whaa wee
Great demo of an amazing device. Looking forward to all the possibilities!
I really like the sound of this a lot
Lovely Stuff Mike! Looking forward to this one...
Best delay ever.
My God that sounds amazing
Keeley makes some really great sounding pedals! Nice job with the demo! Sounding great!! 😊
This will go nicely with my Blue Sky.
Love this pedal
Super cool pedal, great demo! Is there a way to delete the loop without having it play back?
Yes, you can double tap the feedback knob, then hold down the tap switch, it will silent delete. ;-)
and you can even undo your first recording silently. so if you start a loop and make a mistake, you don't have to stop, you can just hold down the feedback and it will undo your loop. (Only the first loop then it's just regular undo.) Easy!
you can also double tap bypass button to enter the preset mode.
Good Demo
The music from 2:40 on...should be on an album...
I agree! It's rich!
@@RobertKeeleyTV Sounds amazing - reminds me of one of those beautiful interlocking passages that Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew would play on Discipline.
This was probably already asked but can you change the tempo of your loop with the tap?
this or the new crazy tube circuit TIME? which is better
So tap it 37 times, then hold the fdbk and turn the rate knob, then tap left and you get to a bonus level??
Close! You tap 3.7 times, then rub your tummy, pat your head, hold you tongue just right....THEN Bonus Round Tone Control use!
There is a light at the end of the features tunnel however! In Looper Mode, the Tone Control doesn't, Does Not, need the Feedback knob to access the Tone Control! That's right, the Tone Control "rises to the top" when in looper mode. It's not an alt-hold feature in that mode! Hahaha!
only from the mind of Robert Keeley! 😂
@@RobertKeeleyTV so after all the years on UA-cam i finally have a top comment - and a reply from The Man himself! Hope to see you at NAMM. Im packing 9 shirts for 3 days. Thats 27 possible combinations. Amost a record!
The Desert Lounge we pack alike! I hope to have at least 3 ECCOS shirts! Haha!
Mike do you prefer this to the Alexander Quadrant?
Bt is it better than the dd200
First song Maanam? :P
I just got the pedal! But looks like going to looper mode always activates the delay!! Even if it was disengaged! Is that correct??
Paolo Cristofoli I believe that’s correct. You can turn the Blend down and you won’t get the delay. How are you liking the pedal?
@@aaroncurtis4476 yeah I like the pedal but for me the decision to keep the delay always active in looper is just nonsense and it's driving me nuts. Workarounds have all obvious downsides. Also, I found another quirk: the wysiwyg mode only retains the primary controls: for example, if you are using a preset with very dark tone and go to wysiwyg, you still get the dark tone, even if you had set a normal tone in wysiwyg before. Not good... would you confirm that?
EDIT june 2020: after some of my complains about what I wrote down below, Mr. Keeley himself took the chance and modified my pedal as I wished! Now the ECCOS that are selling now sports the same tweaks, and other good stuff. So no more delay always on while in looper mode, now you got delay and looper functioning indipendently! Kudos to the great Robert that listen to his customers!
@@PaoloC. thats cool !!
What are you using for the overdrive around 1:12
Second vid of 2 I’ve seen using Police tunes to demo the Ecco. XD
Does somebody know What kind of drum loops he uses?
I buy all my loops from Loop Loft. Amazing drummers playing the loops
Mike Hermans Thank you!!!!
@@popintothechemist love their stuff
Oh great so you can record the delay lines from eccos into the looper mode? Can you manipulate delay in real time? or you have to set it before going into looper mode? then go back out for another sound and so on?
You can change several delay parameters in looper mode. (Time, Blend, Feedback, and TONE.) You can even go back into delay mode and change any of the other alt-controls, then go back to the looper in real time! After a passage has been recorded, you can't change the delay on it.
I see! Thanks a bunch Robert, this will most definitely be my first Keeley Pedal and I'm super stoked about it!
Ecco or mako?
Eccos I'd say. ;-)
@@RobertKeeleyTV 🤣 I want one :)
This or walrus D1?
I have the walrus. Very very disappointed.
