Side note: Paul's family got a judge to let them take all of Dorothy's property, money and personal items. Citing that when Dorothy died, Paul was entitled to inherit. I don't know whose crazier that judge or 1 of the former room mates who now claims Paul didn't kill himself....NUTZ
I recently read an article, Paul's family(brother) didn't get any inheritance of monies or property. The Hogstratten Family faught in court with the monitary support of Peter Bogdanovic.
Don't forget the fact that after he shot her in the face he then assaulted her corpse. Paul also strapped her to a sex bench with medical tape. It was Dorothy's last effort to end things with Paul so she could move on. Peter Bogdanovich was her live in new boyfriend who then married her sister Louise when she was the exact same age, 20. Such a tremendous loss, taken way too young!
Adam, I feel that where celebrities were killed or died is a part of history. I've been to a few places that celebrities were murdered. Lets face it its interesting. I would love to see you do more of this. Thank you Chris
There's something both sad and enlightening about facing mortality. Whether it's our own or someone else's. I like old cemeteries and creepy murder stories myself. The 'Glensheen Mansion' in Duluth would always creep me out whenever we drove past it on family road trips.
+thedailywoo +adamthewoo As long as it's interesting, it can either be dark or lighthearted and it will still be entertaining. That's why we love your videos, Adam. You mix it up! Some people only focus on dark horrible events or locations and it gets old quick.
I don't mind when you make videos like this because you keep them in good taste and they expand the horizons of subjects I didn't know much about. Great job, thanks!
The disclosure laws are different in every state. It should be mandatory everywhere to have to disclose tragedies...Dorothy's story is so tragic. I could never live in a murder house. I have visited some and even spent the night in one, but I could NEVER live in one knowing about it. I like this vlog
I would live in a house that had been a murder scene but only after it had been blessed by a Priest. I love your channel Adam (both of them). I think once a week you could do a darker type video. Keep up the great work.
Bring on the haunted and tragic side of LA/Hollywood, always interesting to see, thanks Adam, love the videos! (actually how I found you was your Minelli house video lol)
I just watch 20/20 about her story . She was very beautiful. And to answer your question . If sold through a realtor they have to give you the history of the house. Especial if someone was murdered inside the house. I enjoyed your video and will check out more.
I’ve always wondered how people can then live in these houses and not be bothered by it’s history. My understanding is that realtors must disclose such events to prospective buyers, as I was informed once of a suicide in a house I viewed. I’d love to hear firsthand from residents what their thought process is when buying and then living in such places.
Disclosure laws vary from state to state as to whether or not a murder or 'significant' crime had taken place on the property, and sometimes it's left to the agent's discretion to reveal it or not to potential buyers. Other than that, keep them coming, it's nice to have some darkness thrown in once in awhile.
The funny thing is, a LOT of us already live in places like this! In most states there are no laws requiring Realtors to divulge information like this to new buyers. Also love the darker content!
Yes, please film more horror/dark/strange locations! In answer to your question about if I would live in a house where something like a murder/suicide or supernatural event took place, my answer is no way! I'm a skeptic as to whether ghosts/negative energy, etc exist, but for me personally it's just too strange to live in a place like that.
Any rumors of it being haunted? There are certainly far scarier ghosts than a Playmate... Did you know that Stratten was also in an episode of Buck Rogers?
Such a tragic story. Puts me in the mind of the Sharon Tate massacre that Charles Manson headed (I think she was a playmate as well). As for living in a home where a tragedy like this took place (hell no). I would never want to live in a place like that because it would always be in the back of my mind. We don't mind you putting in a sad story every once in a while. Sad stories are just a natural part of life that we can't avoid. They are in the news everyday. Thanks for sharing your videos!
Great vid, I was always curious of the house where she got murdered at. I visited her gravesite last month in a vid I made. Crazy how young she was when she became famous & then murdered, what a tragic story
I like all of your vlogs. I'm not a big fan of Disney, but if I don't like a vlog I don't have to watch. I look forward to seeing your daily vlogs. Me myself I like the filming locations the most, but really most of all everything you do is good. I like the circle of goodness! I don't always comment because I know that you receive a lot of comments & I'm just in the crowd. I really like what you do I can only hope to meet you one day. My kid's always say "you're watching Adam the woo again?". Thanks for the daily vlogs it brightens my day & mood. Ryan, in Illinois. 👍🏻😃
Hi Adam, to answer your question, Would I live in a place like that ? Sure why not, what happened there had nothing to do with me. Doesn't creep me out at all! As for the subject matter of the vlogs and videos, whatever floats your boat. Have a great weekend!
I thought at that time, Dorothy and Paul were renting the home!? They had a Dentist and his girlfriend living with them. I'm pretty sure it was a rental home, yes it's terrible that Paul's family got everything that Dorothy owned, even the gold Couger she was driving at the time which Paul was driving the Mercedes!!! No Way I could stay in that house even one night!!!
Can you imagine how sick his family is to take everything of her's after what their son did?? Even if awarded by law, their conscience should have told them it was Dorothy's family that deserved that. You can see this apple didn't fall far from his family tree.
***** I've been watching your videos non-stop tonight. They're so interesting!! You're the best daily vlogger I've ever seen. Everyday you make an adventure and its so inspiring!
I use to be like that for years goth darkness heavy metal but it put me in a deep depression and then had nightmares for months had to go see a dr I quit watchin it starting thinkin good got watchin Adams videos lol and I feel a lot better
Do happy and sad videos ! Life fascinates me too! It's crazy how things happen so fast. It's good to beware of what's around and even the history of good and bad!
I personally would probably be creeped out if I found out I lived in a house where someone was murdered. I love all your Vlogs, Adam! These kind of Vlogs are OK with me from time to time. Can you do a Vlog sometime about the Manson Murders & Sharon Tate house location? Keep up the awesomeness that you do👍👍
Wow I can't believe that house is still there after all these years. And people are living in it?I wonder if they are aware of the history of the house?
I think, if a place has an interesting history, it's worth showing, regardless of the actual story, it is after all, history. I'm sure lots of people live in residences where people have died, naturally or gruesomely, and are non the wiser. The residents of the Stratten house are undoubtedly perfectly normal and just got used to people photographing and videoing their house!
Adam, how about visiting the house at 8723 Rangely Avenue, West Hollywood, where Dominique Dunne was strangled? She was actually attacked in the neighbour's garden.
Personaly I don't think I would have a problem living in that house but would have to have two things happen before. I would have to get a good price on the place and then have the whole house ,every room blessed by a minister
yes, it like to see like this. I couldn't have put it better than your words. Death and tradedgey are facinating to me as well Adam because there's usually a good story that had led up to the end result. Very cool.
I personally liked this vlog not everything in LA or Hollywood sparkles plain and simple. There are a lot of Paul Schneider's out there that will use a beautiful young girl like Dorthy to try to get their foot in the door. It is well known that Hugh Hefner could not stand Paul and eventually was denied entrance everytime he showed up at the Playboy Mansion.
You do a great job of exposing the curiosities the Hollyweird and Cali region ...oh yeah, you do more than that...anyway.... Keep it up. How about do a vlog about Jim Morrison and Laurel Canyon? Or just the weirdness of Laurel Canyon?? If you have not already... The first video I saw of yours was Salton Sea...I actually "camped" there one night on a cross country trip. It looks cool on a map. We didn't know what we were getting into. Again, keep up the great work!
Love it... I hope to see if you did more like this... I'm fascinated with subjects like this too... You made me look her name up in Google, and learn a lot about the story of her short life..
I LOVE those kind of videos! It makes me think of the one you did in a cemetary about Mary Ann Cotton and the one about a couple that was murdered in a mansion in the forest...
You do a great job Adam,,variety is the spice of life. I like the dark stuff, weird stuff, funny stuff and my favorite is a tie,,,abandoned locations and movie locations. Love your video's, the ones I don't care for,I will never bash you for,I'm sure someone else enjoys them and you do as well or you would not be doing it. Thanks Adam :-))
No, that is far too sad and disturbing. I could never live in a house where someone was violently murdered. I wonder how anybody could??! I mean just think, a beautiful young celebrity was gunned down and her ex took his life as well and it was very gruesome and bloody. They say he even raped her corpse and her tissue from the gun wound was found all over his hands and body. He shot her through the eye. A horrific scene occurred in that home, and I could never reside or even spend the night there after that occurrence. I don’t believe in hauntings or ghosts so it isn’t even about that, it’s about what occurred there. Rest in power, beautiful Dorothy❤️
I would have enjoyed this one a lot more had you got permission from the owner to look around the inside of the house, particularly where the murder happened. I bought my home almost 12 years ago and did not find out that someone had killed himself in what is my bedroom until a few months after I moved in. As for what kind of videos you should or should not make.......personally I would like to see an even mix of fun as well as dark, creepy, or even supernatural. Mix it up, give something for everyone, but most importantly........do what you enjoy doing the most.
Yes i would like to see more of these video's. There are a lot od dark and interesting stories you can film. I hope you will make a video about the Manson murders one day. Or about the Black Dahlia. Anyway i like your other video's as well :-)

That area looks quite similar to the area where the UNIDA building is from ROTLD. Is it near by? I like this type of vlog, because im quite into the morbid crime scenes and all that. Really sad story tho. Thanks Adam.
It's funny you posted this. Just 2 days ago the famous Los Feliz murder house came up on Facebook and I was going to suggest it to you,but I wasn't sure if you would do that sorta thing. I appreciate all the vlogs that you do. But seeing other vlogs on historical (whether tragic or not) would be appreciated. These are a break from the Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and ComicCon vlogs.
I’m from England so to see the actual home of Dorothy is good to see and the area around it very sad what happened has there ever been paranormal investigations been allowed just curious 🍀
Nice video, I was waiting for you to knock on the door and interview the owner and ask them if the knew the history of their house.
Side note: Paul's family got a judge to let them take all of Dorothy's property, money and personal items. Citing that when Dorothy died, Paul was entitled to inherit. I don't know whose crazier that judge or 1 of the former room mates who now claims Paul didn't kill himself....NUTZ

Oh, and: no, I would NOT live in a house where something that tragic happened. No way!
I totally agree - but does everyone research enough to know the history of a house/apartment though ?
Totally agree !!!!
Triangle for sure! Horrifieding story!
Adam, I feel that where celebrities were killed or died is a part of history. I've been to a few places that celebrities were murdered. Lets face it its interesting. I would love to see you do more of this. Thank you Chris
In California, the seller of a home must disclose if anyone died in that home.
I personally love these kinds of vlogs-ones with dark undertones. Vlogs like this once in a while is nice.
There's something both sad and enlightening about facing mortality. Whether it's our own or someone else's. I like old cemeteries and creepy murder stories myself. The 'Glensheen Mansion' in Duluth would always creep me out whenever we drove past it on family road trips.

I REALLY like these kind of vids you do. Like that mansion you visited in the woods, creepy and interesting. More murder houses!
+minitzonthesun oh man I remember that place !
minitzonthesun some people actually enjoy living in such places.fucked in the head people, u know...
I don't mind when you make videos like this because you keep them in good taste and they expand the horizons of subjects I didn't know much about. Great job, thanks!
I love the darkness side, oh so much.

i love history of any kind, albeit weird or normal. keep doing what you're doing Adam!
Very cool.... Maybe marilyn monroe's house next.... Good vid Adam.. thanks.
Variety is the spice of life. BTTF one day, Stratten "murder house" the next. It's all good.
I liked this vlog. Weird and dark is ok with me.

I remember her story and tragic ending. Victimized by her own beauty. A life cut too short.
I enjoy the variety you've been putting out there. I am interested in a lot of the same things as you. Weird, dark, happy, campy, all fine by me.
Great vid, I was always curious of the house where she got murdered at. I visited her gravesite last month in a vid I made. Crazy how young she was when she became famous & then murdered, what a tragic story
+cinestalker yeah super young . Only 20
I think every aspect of life is important to document and discuss, light and dark. So I say keep it up, but certainly we need far more light.
I like all of your vlogs. I'm not a big fan of Disney, but if I don't like a vlog I don't have to watch. I look forward to seeing your daily vlogs. Great vid Adam. I remember when this happened. As for your question - YES, by all means, d DO these types of videos as well for variety's sake.
It's a part of life. ..things happen. .good and bad. .and yes love the Erie vlogs to go with the happy ones. ..history in a wacky way. ...see ya. .
Love the dark vlogs. Please keep them up.
I like these vlogs! I love old Hollywood stories. Great video!
All your vlogs are great:) do your thing Adam!

I think sellers of homes need to list disclosures of sorts in the contract for the purchase
You just know there are homes that may not be well known murders having taken place there.
Good Work. Temper your videos with semi- Documentary work. We love the cemeteries and historical stuff too!
You do a great job of exposing the curiosities the Hollyweird and Cali region ...oh yeah, you do more than that...anyway.... Keep it up. How about do a vlog about Jim Morrison and Laurel Canyon? +Mélanie Lalande the mansion in the forest was so crazy
+Dave G : which one?!
I don't remember if it's a video from THE DAILY WOO Vlog or from THE ADAM THE WOO account..
weird, dark, and unusual is awesome. also, that house seems to have a real lack of windows. happy Friday the 13th!! (nice shirt by the way)
Good stuff Adam. Definitely wouldn't feel comfortable in that house
keeping it real. love the facts about our history. Thanks Adam.
You do a great job Adam,,variety is the spice of life. I like the dark stuff, weird stuff, funny stuff and my favorite is a tie,,,abandoned locations and movie locations. I love the strange and bizarre. This was awesome!

creepy eerie and sad. please do wonderland house, the sharon tate house too.
great video Adam
Love your channel Adam. Keep up the great work
Big dreams were born in that home. Such a tragedy. RIP :(
this was a very interesting video. Keep it up :)

Bring on the darkness. It's a cool switch up. Next time you go to Florida you should try to do one on the al Capone mansion.
Yes i would like to see more of these video's. There are a lot od dark and interesting stories you can film. I hope you will make a video about the Manson murders one day. Or about the Black Dahlia. Anyway i like your other video's as well :-)
Yes keep the dark scary videos coming!!!!
Love the history vlogs and seeing where things happened!!
IT'S ALL GOOD! IT ALL WORKS! YOU'RE DOIN' GREAT!
Ty for this video. Star 80 is over looked
Love these darker stories about the US.Please do more Adam my friend.=)
I love these kinds of vlogs!
I like the variety of videos you do.. i guess as long as you are changing the feel every time you can do no wrong with your vlogs! keep it up..I look forward to TDW every day!!
Life is good and bad, tell it like you see it. don't be like the now days media and paint a picture for us, just show it and let us figure it out.
i think as long as you are respectful (which you always are), there isn't anything wrong with showing the darker side of life. it's just another side of things. growing up in the los angeles area in the late seventies and early eighties, there were so many crazy serial killers and mass murders, some of them with connections to the punk scene. people talk about how violent la punks were, but it was more of a reflection of how society was in general back then. anyways, this vlog reminded me of those dark times, but it was interesting to think about, so, thanks.
That area looks quite similar to the area where the UNIDA building is from ROTLD. Is it near by? I like this type of vlog, because im quite into the morbid crime scenes and all that. Really sad story tho. Thanks Adam.
cool vid Adam, and you told us the full story. love it... dark is cool with me :)
It's funny you posted this. Just 2 days ago the famous Los Feliz murder house came up on Facebook and I was going to suggest it to you,but I wasn't sure if you would do that sorta thing. And here we are! The inside of the house has remained as is since the murders on Dec 6th 1959. People have talked about sneaking up and looking in the windows,it's frozen in time from Xmas 1959. +Bryan Burns and of course there's the Manson house
The house we live in now had a murder/suicide, It was disclosed by the realtor and at the closing. They installed carpet over the hardware floors and when we pulled the carpet up, they had installed new wood flooring in the area where they body was discovered.
That was big news here when it happened. I'd like to see you do a vlog on the 1922 murder of director William Desmond Taylor. Great job again Adam!
I liked the vlog. Weird and dark and strange is fine with me.
Strange and creepy vlog. But I did enjoy it. A little darkness is cool. I'd like to see a few more once in a while.
Nice job
I appreciate all the vlogs that you do. But seeing other vlogs on historical (whether tragic or not) would be appreciated. These are a break from the Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and ComicCon vlogs.
History is history! Keep up the hard work!
Very interesting!! love these kinds of videos.
I’m from England so to see the actual home of Dorothy is good to see and the area around it very sad what happened has there ever been paranormal investigations been allowed just curious 🍀
I subscribe to Ask a Mortician so I have no issues with the darker side. Of course I also subscribe to multiple Disney channels so balance is key.
Great video!
Theme Parks 60%... Film Locations/Roadside Attractions Currently Open and Closed 30%...The Darkside 10%
No I wouldn't want to live in a house where there was a death. I love your videos & yes I would like more of these kinds of videos.
I would like you to do more vlogs that show the dark histories of famous places along side the usual light hearted stuff. 👍
keep up the dark videos its very interesting and southern California
is full of places!
