Unfortunately not too much wild game in Nairobi National Park. Massai Mara has prides of lions as soon as you enter. You see so many animals that it gets a little bored, you just want to move onto the next animal. Tsvo is so large that the animals are so far spread out. Amboseli, is great for photo taking as you have the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro which is so stunning, like looking at a mountain in the clouds. Man, i love Kenya because i love animals but it has so much more to offer! The Lodges to stay in the Game Reserves are beautiful as they have the top architects design them. Thanks Gabi, for showing this part of Kenya. The real, Garden of Eden.
Hi Gabi, in 1982 and 1987 I went to Kenya. Stayed at Diani Sea Lodge, the beach was emazing. We took the night-train from Mombasa to Nairobi, great!!! We also did safaries in Tsavo east and west, Amboseli and Massai Mara National Park. At that time Kenya was like paradies for me. I don`t want to spoil my memory, so I stay away from Kenya. Enjoy your stay. I love your videos. Greetings from cold Germany
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻 many places in the world have changed a lot and overdeveloped. I have the feeling the coast of Kenya is still keeping it’s beauty and authenticity.
Oh man that was scary! To have the Police investigators barge into your room. Sadly everyone is looking for "little money" from the time you arrive at airport. That is the negative of Kenya. Unfortunately it is has a large population just surviving. So sorry that happened to you Gabi. I am glad you didn't allow that event to tarnish your time in Kenya. Kenya still has tons of very friendly people. The little kids are full of smiles. If you get in a bind, like a road accident, every Kenyan will stop to help you. Please share how you got to Diana Beach and how you were able to find your accommodations. i am always so disoriented when i go to a new country, i find it difficult to find my way around so these videos help a lot. In the past i was working so money was not an option but that is no longer the case. I love traveling and want to start up again but i have to be extremely frugal and very careful as i don't have back up funds. Traveling gives you a great perspective on live. It is not the same as watching a video. i would encourage everyone to try to get out of your comfort zone and travel the amazing planet of ours. Asante Gabi!
The guy is a sadist.......he surprised people that in the entire Nairobi metropolitan of about 6 million people he only saw kibera which is occupied by less than 150,000 people.....he has been using a kibera footage in his videos to describe Kenya .....it's like us going to those slums in Mumbai and saying that's India ....his attitude is pathetic
Even though it was not a full safari experience it was still wonderful as an introduction! It’s amazing that this experience is right inside the city! ❤ Doing a full safari experience while visiting Africa is definitely on my bucket list!
Great to see you Gabi have a great time in Kenya. I have never done the "walking tour in the wild Park", i am glad you survived it. You never know if a lion was stalking you as they are very intelligent animals. Kenya is famous for the pride of lions that attacked the Indian immigrants that were brought in to build the railways in the late 1800s. i have never done the feeding of the Giraffes. I love, love the coast of Kenya with the beautiful whilte sandy beaches! It is just like the Maldives with one exception, the cost!! One has to pay a fortune to vacation in the Maldives. A coconut is 5 times the cost as they have to import them to the islands like everything else. Hope you get to try the "madafus"...a young coconut. And the "mandazis"...they are delicious donuts of Kenya, they use sweet coconut nectar in them. I can't wait to see your coast videos. Your videos are great, with one exception, they are too short. Hakuna Matata!!! Thanks for sharing and bringing us along.
First things first, the vlog is fantastic, classic and worth every minute to watch. Secondly, it concerns us that you had uninvited guests 'police' in your room and probably it would help if we could know which hotel this was for us to make complaints against such behavior because it is unacceptable for people to behave that way especially when it comes to a foreign visitor. it gives a bad name.
I just finished a safari in Masai Mara reserve. Amazing. Cost was $250US for 3 days 2 nights. Saw the big 5 including leopard and cheetah. Lots of lions & elephants too. Park entry fee was $80US/day (2 days). Safari date was December 9 to 11.
@@ridewithgabi you can also add one more day for the Lake Nakuru National Park. I was there yesterday December 12, 2023. Saw lions, Rothchild Giraffes 🦒 (only place they exist in the wild), flamingos and rhinos 🦏
Gracie Gabi, thanks to you i'm still going to improve my ability to understand English and, of course, to discover Kenya !!!!!. Je te souhaite beaucoup de bonheur mon Ami. 😍😍😍😍😍
Sorry about that early morning incident you had with 'cops' before you left for your Nairobi National Park Safari. Great video and the driver and the ranger are quite interesting!
Oh my goodness Gabi, i feel so blessed you share what you saw in this little NP - Wow, the wildlife is delightful🤩my big respect ! Fantastic episodes in Africa, it is overwhelming amd what a great adventure you have in this rural and still wild continent❤✌Thankyou a lot ! Be safe and always protected 🙏btw. you look relaxed...
Please tell us the name of the accomodation you were staying in where the strangers came in your room. That hotel or air bnb needs to be criticized and called out
Yes Masai Mara is the best. Its the ICON of Africa. Otherwise you can visit Tsavo national park, Amboseli national park, and if you just want a quick one just one day tour go to NAKURU National park. Similar to Nairobi.
Waw..... I have been in that Nairobi National Park last September/October. So nice to "revisit" the place through your video. We also passed by that bridge. And also we went on that walk with the Ranger soldier/militar guy. That is part of the safari. We did hire the same kind of bus for our safari tour. But we were many of us and we hired 2 buses. We want to come back to visit the massai mara close to the border of Kenya and Tanzsnia. Thank you so much Gabi.❤
Kenyan Police never fail to embarass us , after harrassing you they even add the audacity to beg for "transport" money, how shameless can one be ? I'm sorry for that incident but Kenyans are generally good people 🙏🏾
at 13:31 that is funny. he said that swahili word for a warthog is Pumba and the full word is pumbavu 😂😂 that is quite funny as pumbavu literally means 'a fool' - man lion king did wonders
@sophie South Africa Oh boss see you walking with your guard Salim that guy was God sand, at first I thought he was fake. The way he treated you it makes cry. He was nice and you also Treated him like wise❤🎉😅
Thats interesting. I wish i would have courage to look the lion into their eyes. One time Elephants came to visit us at my parents compound. I was freaking out like crazy. But they wanted tp eat sugarcane that my dad had grown. And after they ate all tge sugarcane they just left in peace.
If it is kept as a secret then the government shouldn't be spending millions advertising it on CNN and as a result, no foreigner will know about it and come to visit resulting in loss of foreign exchange earnings for Kenya and eventually Kenya will remain poor since all the employees in the tourism sector will lose their jobs inviting poverty in their families.
@dwamburu1 I have never seen an advertisement about kenyan tourism on American tv. So, they say they spend money on ads? It's bs. I've been in the diaspora many years. Only ads I have seen are TZ , South Africa and Namibia.
Yes, Gabi, When will you go to Pakistan? I am also waiting for you to be the path breaker to this destination. I want to visit Pakistan next spring. I thank you and I am grateful for everything you share with us 🙏🏼. Be blessed ⭐
Gabi, Nairobi is the only, I repeat, the only capital city in the whole world with a national park within it's city. Nairobi is amazing.
