Nearly a quarter of people across our country do not have access to a car or cannot drive.
What is their experience when other transportation options in their community are limited or disconnected?
This year, America Walks and Disability Mobility Initiative have taken the Week Without Driving Campaign national. During the week of October 2-6, hundreds of individuals, elected officials, and organizations such as ourselves are participating in this challenge to reflect on what it’s like to get around without driving.
