When I was in grade school our music teacher would play this every halloween along w a song called wacky halloween(which I haven’t been able to find). Brings back a lot of memories. Trick or treating with ur friends, dressing up at school, having a party for half the day. I miss that shit. it’s been rough and for the past two halloween’s I’ve been by myself feeling with nothing but a feeling of crippling loneliness and the feeling that life has passed me by. There’s so many things i’ll never do again: i’ll never wait at the stairs waiting for my mom to come home and jump into her arms to be held by her, i’ll never feel be held in my mother’s arms the same way, i’ll never put on my old school uniform again, i’ll never walk to school, i’ll never have a day with no stress no worry about the future, i’ll never look at the world with the same wonder and awe i used to, ill never go trick or treating, i’ll never look at life w the same innocence and optimism, ill never be able to transport myself into a different world the way that i was able to as a child, and countless others... I have lost so much that i can never return the only thing i have left r the memories. Like the memories of this song.
