They are increasing durability but at same time thinning the glass...
I wont mind a bit thicker phone with thicker gorilla glass as long as it's more durable..
EXACTLY!
glare is the last think I think about with my broken galaxy s8 screen my friend
If you dont want to watch the entire video

Give this to Jerry rig everything and let him use those mohs picks...
URGENT FURY YES!!!
Cut the bullsh1t, just do a real life drop test and scratch test.
The only thing that can scratch glass is stone/minerals that are harder than that glass. Your fingernails cannot scratch any glass. The scratches you see on your screen are from microscopic pieces of dirt that are most likely in your pockets or embedded in the fibers of your clothing. Also, putting your display facedown anywhere, especially on the ground, will put it in contact with microscopic rocks.
From my experience as well, I’ve noticed that small rocks embedded in carpet or on the ground are also responsible for starting small cracks from drops at low heights. That’s why these phones can survive high drops on a clean and smooth surface, but cannot survive a drop from 1 foot onto a rough surface.
They placed a redmi phone instead of the flagship xiaomi productline, good to know this is on budget phones.
Blaah Bla Blaah Blaa....!
Ahhh after all these Introduction
When the Customer owns it And
When the Moment those glass kiss the Ground.
They break into Piece Anyway.
And Too Expensive to Replace.
😕😕😕😕😕
105K subs...$20 ebay mic
Who says it's from ebay you douche!
@@HuntersMoon78 they're just mentioning how they would expect higher quality standards for a channel this
That just goes to show you.. you don't need the best equipment to have a successful channel ;)
Hahaha
Integra DIY that might be right but they need to step up their game
Did the glass brake there at the 3:00 minute mark? cos the film seams to have a cut there :/
Is that Abhishek Telang on 4:30 from old techguru
Poor audio
That is why i went to my bedroom to bring my earphones
There's xiaomi phone😍😍😍...where I just bought same as it shown in the video and I was*WOW REALLY*!!!!
awesome glass
So when are we going to get a shutter & scratch proof glass protection for a flagship smartphone?... 😕
This glass breaks the very first time you drop your phone.#facts
thellow drog And makes phone more expensive
Only the lates phones get the new glass so don't expect a cheap or old model to get this.
When it will become Drop proof ???
video seems like taken with a smartphone cam, WTF?
Vivek Sabbani loooks like it was taken but a iPhone
Yeah a Galaxy s2 not s10
What the hell man
2:28 Force is measured in "newton", and not "joule".
My phone using same glass
Maybe tough and strong but I want them to test the glass by rubbing sand on it to see if it eventually resists scratches so we can do away with screen protectors
Who uses a screen protector
Who uses a screen protector
To some people out there that says "why does the iphone x still crack?etc" Well thats because of the thickness of the phone the less thick it is the more prone it is to cracking well if our phones were a bit thicker I guess it wouldn't shatter or crack that easily
Ryan Abapo no its the opposite cuz the thinner and lighter phones put less pressure on the glass while the heavy phones jusy rest on top of them, its like someone that is 100kg jumping on your head and you vs someone that is 500g jumping on your head
Connor RK1000 check end vid ua-cam.com/video/xYEPyahJ4Po/v-deo.html
Sapphire still beat
If you have oppo find X tempered glass
Mom had S8.. 1 drop = phone broke BIG TIME
My friend has Iphone X.. already broken to hell from 2 drops..
I broke my LG and Nokia phones within 1 drop too..
All phones i just named were more expensive than 500$. If phones break that fast.. you might aswell just burn the 500$.. cuz thats what ur doing anyways...
Nice....
What if phone makers used the technology of 0.4mm and put it on 1.1mm gorilla glass
Topic and content are different.
ZenFone 5 make gorilla glas 6?
Leaked S10 screen? 100% screen to body?
Who cares when Samsung building flexible no breakable displays
kiran rathod the displays and glass are different things lol
Glass is glass
I need kangaroo glass or dinosaur glass , gorilla is not good
Why are we still making phones with glass; why not polycarbonate where it's shatterproof???
Vincent Gates it's a worldwide conspiracy... otherwise the companies can't sell their display units at very higher rates....
randomguy8196 oh you're right, I failed to remember even though polycarbonate IS shatterproof it is prone to scratching.
Apple would loose millions because they can’t charge $150 per display
Polycarbonate is not conductive. So how would your touch screen work? 😛

Give it to me !
It literally means nothing because if I drop my phone it's cracking 🙄 no matter what number glass it is
Both the audio and video recording was bad..
Drop test on a real phone please...
That's a lot of damage
kool
yea yet my phone cracks everytime I drop it
only the latest phones get the new glass just like software updates.
Glass is a glass and they breaks ..n get cracks
So they have an s9 and yet they still use a potato to record the video
I understand you can't make the glass shatter proof and the worlds cares more about money/profit more than anything else in the Universe, but can you at least CONSIDER making them not so easily scratchable with a damn fingernail or lint from the pockets?
I mentioned the money part because using better material than glass (which we have a couple of options) costs more.
Morindrias Stadnent Scratch with a fingernail? That's not possible. Do you have sand under your fingernails?
The only thing that can scratch glass is stone/minerals that are harder than that glass. Your fingernails cannot scratch any glass. BS xD
Quick?
This hamer has rounded point. Hit it with a sharp object like a spike and it will go to thousand peaces with little effort. That's why when you drop you phone and the glass hits a sharp Stone edge it's rip mobile. This test is bull crap.
you just didn't understand the test at all, this was not to demonstrate a drop test or any durability test at all, this was done to tell us that it is as important to support the glass, and that in some case if the glass break it's not the gorrila team's fault, it's the phone fault for not supporting effectivly the glass
tough but not shatterproof...
These glasses are made to break man 😋😐lol
These glasses aren't ment to break that quickly...
West
Drop it on the floor and they all would crack like an egg
Gorilla glass scratches with a paper. Is a scam
that's a alot of damage
What? Pardon? What? Who?
Click baited
Hopefully ya make a tong of $$ with those cellphones manufacture
spend millions developing a piece of shitty glass, can't afford proper sound quality...
Compare to samsung new glass .boo
Fake
Blah blah blah!! Do drop test!
