Hello from London Ontario. I totally agree…there is not enough time to stitch everything so watching others do some of the ones I won’t get to is very nice watching. So far I have been able to get everything at my LNS…lucky it is only 20 minutes away.

We don't have a cat but someone in the neighborhood does, he/she naps on my patio every morning . We enjoy watching him come over.
Love spring stitching because I live in far north Queensland Australia. We basically have wet summer, dry summer. No autumn leaves 😢. You probably saw Olivia, pumpkin hollow quilts stitchimg mighty acorn. I bought it too after seeing her stitch it. Love the cat and facbric .🇦🇺🌈❤
Lol, I almost poked my finger while stitching when you mentioned me! Thank you! I'm in the same boat, only stitching for like a half hour or so in the mornings or evenings. It's my calm part of the day, hahaha! I also just picked up my fabric and floss for Joyous Season, so I'm hoping to get that started either tonight or tomorrow!

I’ve been in a floss of the month for weeks. I may change it to classic color works, after they go through weeks alphabetically. So you can build up your floss stash, if that’s what you want to do. I miss having a cat.
I have thought about those clubs. But unfortunately not too many will ship to Canada or if they do. The shipping is very expensive. They are an awesome idea to help build your stash though!
I like cats but my husband is not a cat person . I love dogs but my husband and I live in an over 55 apartment for his health needs!!! I love your video and I thank you for it in your busy life!

I love fall stitching the most too. The colors are so soothing. My big fluffy black cat sits near enough to my stitching chair that he can be brushed or petted on demand and watch the birds. So nice you get to spend with your grandson.
My stitchy buddy is my daughters cat Angel, she’ll be 18 in October. We just love her she’s incredibly clean it’s like her obsession and she’s such a lap kitty in the winter. It’s been a really bad summer here in Arizona we’re definitely staying indoors as much as possible. I tell people back East that this is our winter. Then they kind of understand better. I live about two hours from Hobby House, however,I have only been there once and didn't have a !it of time to look around. Really friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to see your haul from there. There is another needle arts shop not too far from Hobby House called The Golden Thread. They have so many patterns. I also work in a hospital in imaging, I have trained in multiple modal olives including cat scan.
I have never heard of the Golden Thread! I am going to look them up as well! One of my son’s girlfriends works in imaging as well. We get to work at the same hospital!

There was the price sticker from my LNS, Stitchers Inc in Memphis, TN. Now I'm wondering how that chart got to you in Canada! It really is a small world.
Hi Alana! I enjoy your videos so much! I have also had the Silent Night chart forever- it was also one of my first 123stitch orders 😂 It’s all kitted up too. I wasn’t going to start another Cmas pattern until I finish Kringles, but it would be fun to stitch along with you, so we’ll see, lol. I got into Stitch-Con 2023 right away, with my best friend. We were over the moon excited. But then that train derailment happened in Ohio, and I’m a chronic cancer patient, and it was close enough to the venue that my (adult) children and friends asked me not to go. I was nervous about it too, so we cancelled. It was DEVASTATING! Some of my favorites from flosstube were there the week I was meant to go. Clearly I am still upset about missing it 😅 BUT, I can absolutely have joy over whomever got my seat getting to go! 😊 I agree wholeheartedly with you about the flosstube community. It. Is. Amazing! Maybe you could take a mill hill ornament/magnet kit on your trip. They are stitched on perforated paper, so very easy to stitch. I would sort the floss prior, because some of the colors are close. Oh I love my cat, Dexter! 😻 Sounds like a fun birthday excursion!!

I would think if you really want to be better at the technical stuff you should interface with another flosstuber - have a training class. I know I could never do it; but you are young and are doing great so far - just keep it going!

I laugh every time you say you are going to "cross over". Annnnnddd...if you do a road trip for Stitch Con...you need to pass through the Cleveland area. I was nervous about it too, so we cancelled. It was DEVASTATING! Some of my favorites from flosstube were there the week I was meant to go. Clearly I am still upset about missing it 😅 BUT, I can absolutely have joy over whomever got my seat getting to go! 😊

I'm working on many WIPS, but ready to dosome Fall charts!! The cat is so cute. I think 3 new starts for Aug. one as a Birthday start. It's so hard to make & keep my plans.

Maybe you could take a mill hill ornament/magnet kit on your trip. They are stitched on perforated paper, so very easy to stitch. I would sort the floss prior, because some of the colors are close.

Thanks for sharing your busy life with us, and of course your stitching. I would think if you really want to be better at the technical stuff you should interface with another flosstuber - have a training class. I know I could never do it; but you are young and are doing great so far - just keep it going!

I laugh every time you say you are going to "cross over". Annnnnddd...if you do a road trip for Stitch Con...you need to pass through the Cleveland area. There are several cross stitch stores here in my great state of Ohio. Make it a cross stitch road trip. Your husband wont mind (lol). Always fun to watch you.
