MAN ! Incredible flying and awesome lines, I just discovered your channel because we're planning a speedflying trip to Lauterbrunnen this summer. Do you mind sharing a few tips for the place ?
ah nice, its a good place to be! i think you be better off talking with some of locals, but i can share some where i did most of my flights, was at the mountain Männlichen, and above Mürren down to stechelberg. both of these have gondola. if you want to find other people to fly with, just hang around the stechelberg parking, and look for speedflyers. The main landing is right besides the parking lot. most people are cool and friendly, and will more than likely show you around some hike and flys: check out ''Rottalhütte SAC'' you get to fly over a glacier, and fly 1400 height meters over stunning terrain. one that i did not do is ''Silberhornhütte SAC'' but the terrain under it looks quite nice for speedflying. definitely doing that one next time I'm there
Thanks man ! Do you know if it's flyable in the summer ? Perhaps super early in the morning ? We plan on staying there for 4 or 5 days after a speedflying road trip from Les Deux Alpes through the french Alps. We hope we can can get a bit of lifts and a bit of hike and speedfly and I've heard about both Rottalhütte and Silberhornhütte thanks to the boss Alex Mulle 😉😉, but I fear the air will be quite bumpy all the way up there... We'll see! Keep the videos coming 🔥
@@ben-j Yeah, Mr Mulle is the king of lauterbrunnen, he is the right person to ask for hike and flys tips! people fly in the valley all year, but im sure it will be bumpy mid day, if the sun is out. the mornings will be best for sure. if youre driving from les 2 alpes, be sure to have a stop in chamonix, a lot of fun to be had there also
