My Way, my way, my way....Never watched BGT before, never liked musical theatre, lived in same village as Syd, never had any idea she existed, never in my 71 years have I heard such a beautiful voice. I will be making amends for my ignorance by seeing her live at Canterbury next Feb, then I can die happy!!
This amazing woman has a super power...she can transport the listener to her world where all your struggles and troubles are gone so you can embrace the beauty of this sometimes dark world ....I for one want to stay a while before coming back....by the way you are not a garbage bag we see your lovely spirit shining through...Karl from eastern Canada👍👍👍❤❤❤
Sydnie is so incredible; she has tried for years, and was always top notch, and then Annabel Williams, her BGT voice coach, whom she now still works with, helped her bring this out: utter perfection. Sydnie spoke about this on breakfast TV just after this glorious night. In the after party of the finals night Amanda said on video also that she herself was thinking, as Sydnie sang, "Why of why, can't I?"...: "Yes, you can, you can now." There are the short videos on youtube of that after party, too. Hope you feel much better very soon: you have many of Sydnie's music videos to look at still, now, starting with her own cover of My Way in the semi-final, before her own video of that song. Her album brings out her huge range of talent: a talent hidden in her quirky, English personality.

The fact that the audience prevents Amanda from being heard,it is in line with a statement made by Simon Cowell when he watched My Way in the semi-final. It was the performance of My Way, that made David Foster invite Sydnie Christmas to the show celebrating his 75th birthday, which already has 283,000 views.

I am hoping you would consider checking out a young lady by the name of Charlotte Summers! (youtube) She has an incredible voice. Her version of Adele's Million years will blow you away! talk about vocal range!
Exactly what I would have said... and to have Andrew-Lloyd Webber not only authorise you to sing it on the musical's set in London's West End (the British Broadway) but even ask her to cover it ? That's true testimony of her incredible talent and amazing personality. See also her rendition of "Believer" at the Royal Variety... that was pure heaven on earth to me... One of the best singer I ever heard since a long time with Tom Ball, Amira, Angelina Jordan and of course Loren Alred ! ❤❤❤

Sorry I can't agree with you regarding her Broadway/West End prospects. Why sing the same few songs night after night, week after week, possibly for years on end, when she would be much more free to sing whatever show tunes she felt like on any given night, and sing them Her Way, with lots of other tunes (like My Way, never a show tune) on a schedule she determines. The concert stage is her destiny, with Barbra and Celine.
