The thing about that bose that impresses me, is how clever the tuning is. Listening to it outdoors, makes it sound very big because of it's upper bass, which gives the illusion of having lots of bass outdoors where you usually can't hear deep bass from small speakers. So for outdoors the flex is not only comfirtable to hold, but it has a perfect tuning for outdoors. It's a very specific v shaped eq that gives a smooth listening experience, because it doesn't focus on upper mids, which is why the sound is so buttery. Speakers like the charge 5 have a more "in your face" type of tuning, better for vocals and certain types of music.

Quite frankly my Bose SoundLink Flex does not sound tremendously muffed. Very very clear tremendous sound. BELIEVE ME 👌
Clearly you must be tone deaf then😁
Bose foam lumps are expensive trash
This video is about a speaker not foam lumps
As with all things Bose. The Flex will be 50 years old and people will still be like .... "Will my new trash FINALLY compete with Bose"😭😭😭
Thats why the Flex is so often compared to the Soundcore Motion Plus wich is much newer.
@felixgraber2415 Soundcore has ZERO to do with anything Bose. You/ WE make the comparisons. The Motion Plus is a Stereo System. The Flex is a Mono speaker that sounds like Stereo. Zero in common other than . Another "Wannabe" scenario. 🙄
There's no contest ....the Bose TRUMPS (as in 2024) over that inferior device
😂😂😂 Nah How? Soundcore has better app, Higher volume sound, LDAC, Stereo sound, Bass up feature if you want more bass
Bose foam lumps are expensive trash
Mono speaker with overboost bass that overshadow the other frequencies can´t be superior.
Update 02.14.23
Purchased Soundcore after watching your video...
I Paired both speakers ( Bose & SoundCore ) to S23 Ultra Using Media Output, Pull Down...
I Was Then Able To Play Music Through Both Speakers Simultaneously...
Plus I Could Disable Either Speaker & Music Continues to Play Through Speaker Not Disabled...
Soundcore is definitely louder When Volume on Both Speakers are set to exact same volume; Equalizer Not Used on Soundcore...
Soundcore Is Significantly Louder than Bose:
When Equalizer On Soundcore Is Used & All Bands of Equalizer Are Set to Max...
Bluetooth
5.3 SoundCore
4.2 Bose
Bluetooth Range
100m / 324f SoundCore
The Soundcore App Is Easier To Use Than Bose App...
Soundcore is larger & heavier...
As much as I love the Bose; Soundcore is Definitely a great deal for the price...

Got 2 Bose Soundlink Flex for 119.00. Each
1st Got 3 yr warranty
2nd Got 2 yr warranty
I Love Bose Soundlink Flex...
It Has The Absolute Best Bluetooth Connection Tech...
And It Announces What Devices it's connected to when it powers up, which is very helpful & useful to me because i regularly have Flex connected to two devices:
2 smartphones
1 smartphone & 1 tablet
Flex announces battery charge left when powers up...
Plus you can push & hold the powerbutton and speaker will announce remaining battery charge...
Thanks for sharing video...
Used to carry two Bose Flex Speakers on My Bike Paired & a JBL Clip 4 Hanging From My Neck Via Long Strap / Lanyard...
Using "Media Output" on Android I could pair ( 2 Paired & JBL Clip 4 ) to my phone so could stream music to all three speakers...
Sound Is Super Spacious, Loud ( can hear on noise streets, with lots of traffic ), and can create reverbs that provide slight echo effect which enhances sound...
The sound is so clear & so crisp that when ridings in public places where there's lots of people, it's comical to see them looking up in the air to see where sound is coming from...
Same hapoens especially in small outside resturants... As i Pass by on my bike, people look up to see where music is coming from, as if the resturants or outside mall has started playing music...
While i Love The Bose Flex for their: Power, Durability, Bluetooth Connectivity, Long Battery Life...
I got a different pair of portable speakers that fit much better than Bose Flex...
TRELBAB HD77 Portable Speakers...
There Round Cylinder Shape & Fit Perfect On Bike...
TREBLAB also makes Bike Mount With Velcro Straps that hold & hug HD77 Speakers Firmly in place for road & gravel biking...
Bose Flex is Better Sounding, But HD77s Sound Very Close to Bose, Are a lot less expensive & they're durable too...

Weak Spot on Bose Flex is USB C connector...
Had to replace one of Bose Flexs because USB C Connector Became Loose & Charging Became Intermittent...
Free Swap / Replacing With Brand new...
