Usually for a muskrat float I use two scoops of Breyers French Vanilla, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and one muskrat.

They floated all right, i believe the design of it is good, i have yet to catch a muskrat however because i am only trapping muskrat in a small length of a ditch, and typically you would have a trapline set over many miles
