In my opinion Yusef Shah was a jealous traitor to brother Malcolm and was one of those people who were nervous about Malcolm taking over the Nation after Elijah passed away because he was gonna clean out The Swamp of slimy followers and he was one of them. I don't think he admitted to assassinating Bro. Malcolm, but said he was worthy and didn't care.

That doesn't make him bad. Sometimes, its hard to see past the storm when ur caught up in it. & in later months after he left, they all got caught up in it. Malcolm said negative things about the Messenger, & they said negative things about him. Capt. Yusef said yrs later they all were to blame because they shld. & cld. have reached for the Man, rather than condemning him to death literally or figuratively. But, they cldn't see past their anger with him.
