How can the NHS rebuild public trust?

Public institutions in the UK have been hit by controversy after controversy in recent times, and so I thank Susan for giving her time to analyse this situation, and to look to the future, and to theorise about what changes might help to rebuild trust in these organisations.
'Support for the NHS has fallen to an all-time low, with just 29% of people surveyed saying they are satisfied with the service. What changes and improvements do you think might see people regain confidence in the institution?'
