A Noam nunca la ha preocupado lo más mínimo el genocidio de la URSS en media Europa y el de la China de Mao con su propio pueblo.
Si ideología se basa en el resentimiento social contra occidente, ese occidente en el que ha vivido lujosamente y del que ha recibido todo.

Indiscutiblemente una de las mentes más lúcidas y brillantes del mundo contemporáneo. Analiza, clarifica y propone con gran sabiduría soluciones a la problemática de la guerra. De hacer caso omiso a estas apreciaciones de gran valor intelectual y humanístico, el planeta se aproximará a una atroz extinción. En efecto, se sostiene aquí el hecho de que el drama de la humanidad no sea por la diversidad de lenguas y culturas (como extensamente antaño se había pensado). Por el contrario, es debido a su naturaleza humana misma creadora.
"El Problema de Platón" vs. "El problema de Orwell" que en algún momento Chomsky abordó en estudios del pasado sobre el conocimiento del lenguaje, llama especialmente mi atención. Sin embargo, el de Orwell es el que aquí se destaca: ¿Cómo es posible que el ser humano, a pesar detener un cúmulo tan amplio de información, sea tan ignorante de las nociones más básicas de la organización social que conllevaría a la paz mundial? Excelente intervención. Se debe difundir masivamente para que, como el señor Chomsky lo advierte, los “descerebrados” que no entienden o no se informan en profundidad, reflexionen y exijan como debería ser, la salida negociada con la participación y el compromiso serio y responsable de los “instigadores” de este conflicto. Ojalá existieran más pensadores como éste y menos títeres manipuladores en el mundo.
