Friction does help us to carry out necessary tasks in our daily life.It is a force that opposes the object to move over a certain surface. If there weren't any friction, everyone on the earth would slip and won't be able to walk but thanks to friction,we can walk and drive due to it.If a floor's wet,the friction is less but if the floor's dry,the friction is greater there and you would have to put some effort to carry out a particular task on a dry road than wet due to friction..

If the ball and the roller blade wheels are rolling without slipping, there friction is actually going in the direction of motion vs the way you showed them in the video. If these are "sliding" or slipping, then your arrows would be correct.
I watch these onlibe videos during online classes or corona viris because in online classes they dont make us understand and we cant ask them because it is online class but u make us understand so thank u so so much
In first case, 0:22 ball is pure rolling ( as it happens in everyday life). And in pure rolling there is no action of friction. Ball will not come to halt because of friction by ground but because of stokes law, viscous force

1:11 the arrow of roller friction should be inverse as we act a force backward and the friction let us move forward
