Flower suggestion: MOON FLOWER
It grows like a morning glory vine. Flowers are white, and it smells absolutely exotic !!!
Can buy the seeds easily and plant soon. You can train them where to grow.
Your home looks nice!

Daddy Matt is saving them a fortune!! Great to have a dad that can do everything!
Thank you 😊
For sure. Maybe needs to bless those without the knowledge with his knowledge.
That’s a fact!…his skill and labor is worth a fortune!…and bonus that all of it’s being done with so much love…Matt is a true blessing and defines what a Dad is and should be. Blessings❤
They are the Most Supportive Family ... W🌸W !!!
Amen, I hope he's teaching his son-in-law, for sure.
Matt is a great carpenter.
What a blessing for the kids to have him to help.
Thank you 😊
Me: I Detest microwaves !!! Anything cooked in a microwave comes out DEAD FOOD, NO NUTRITION ! 😩 Takes mins to use the stove.
Trying to save you time, Matt.😄 Don't cut those cabinets.
I 💗 the Kitchen !!! BEAUTIFUL !!!
I cried when you said you took the Gas out. I 💗 to cook on gas.
And teach! ❤

Been thinking about & praying for Katie. I had postpartum depression & wasn’t really aware that I did. My mom came & stayed with me & was a huge help but when she left to go back home because she was going back to work I cried. I was surrounded by family but it wasn’t anything I was aware of or even knew I had. Please check on her as her situation is much different than Corie’s will be. A lot has happened - losing Miss Cindy, Granny’s cancer, being a single mom. It’s a lot and she may be suppressing some of it. Like I said I was surrounded by family & didn’t even know I had it.
Thank you for thinking of her 😊 she is doing good right now
Prayers for Katie 🙏🙏🙏 & much love to her & baby ❤❤❤
@@CelebratingAppalachia Does Katie live with you and Matt?
@@francesrivard She does 😊
My husband just said, "Now Matt can do yalls garden, and granny's garden, and Paps big field, then come down and till and plant Cories garden". He is amazing and yall are blessed. But he is blessed to have you too. ❤️. Have a great week grandma and papaw.
😊 thank you
@@CelebratingAppalachiaare y'all gonna follow the same pattern with your grandchildren as your parents with their grandchildren? Everyone calling them that! Your mother called "Granny",your daddy called "Pap",& Matt's mother as "Miss Cindy"?
😄😄😄😄😄😄
@@vernareed2692 😊we are Papaw and Grandma 😊unless the little ones change it
@@CelebratingAppalachia we always called my dad`s dad paw and i always thought we were saying paul. hes real name was walter. he was in ww1 and was in france during that war. he was an orphan taken in by a kind family around 1890.
WoW!!!! Look at those cabinets and countertops!!!! Great Job ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Being a new grandmother will make you forget everything but the baby!! Speaking from experience.
😊
So very true
From another Meme…Absolutely true lol
I prefer gas heat and gas stove/oven. For one thing, here in Pittsburgh Duquesne light is VERY expensive!! Another reason is with gas stoves, if a storm takes out the electricity, we can still cook!
My brother loved that too 😊
Me too!
duquesne light is so high, i am thinking of moving to ohio. It is crazy. I live in Rochester, PA ( next to beaver, pa )
@@georgiaturner8210I think gas cooks way better than electric!! It's much easier to cook even! And even in the winter you can turn on the burners if necessary in the really cold winter for heat!
I Cried !!!
Wow, Matt! That is an enormous amount of work you’re doing for the kids!!
Hearing about how close your family is makes me so happy. I feel so sad for those who have not known that kind of love. Love and family are the really only important things in this world besides knowing Christ. All else will fall away, but love stays.
I love at the end after you sign off where you and Matt just talk. Matt just lets his body completely relax and his true personality comes out. You relax too. It's fun to hear y'all laugh about past memories of the things the kids said or did growing up. Those moments really make me smile.
So glad!
Matt is a perfectionist, which is rare! He takes pride in his skills.
😊 thank you
That medicine cabinet came from Three Mountaineers, a company in Asheville that produced wood products. I have the same one! My husband worked there for a while.
That is awesome!
It's beautiful!
Matt is the Energizer Bunny. He just keeps a going. Matt's work is saving Corie and Austin alot of big money. I hope he gets his tractor tiller fixed soon, and he can get to use his new tractor. He is amazing at all the things he can do. CLAPPING HANDS FOR MATT! 👍 😊
You two are a perfect example of what this world needs as what a family should be. There would be more peace and friendship.
You are so kind thank you 😊
We sure would like to hear more about the new baby.
Those counter tops look beautiful. How nice to have the house stay in the family. I so much enjoy sunday evening. Feels like I'm right there visiting. Praying for Granny, Corie and Austin and baby, Katie and Ira and you and Matt too. Have a wonderful week.
Thank you!!
In New Hampshire we have "False Spring." Gets our hopes up and crash!!!
Love Matt's shirt! Maybe one day I will share my and my brother's terrifying bigfoot encounter a mile high in elevation in the saddle between Bob bald mountain and Hangover mountain in Nantahala in the middle of the night.
There’s just something about getting a “new” home. Fresh paint, new light fixtures, spruced up kitchen. Sounds like they’re ready to start fresh. I’m so happy for them.
Thank you 😊
I had a sister, who has since passed, she would use nothing but gas, I don't like it, I'm afraid of gas. Matt is such a great Dad and such a blessing to all of you. I can't wait until Lil bit starts following him around. Both you, Miss Tipper and Matt are in for such joy and happiness with both the babies. God Bless. How's Granny.? I'm also so happy Austin and Corie got the house. I wish for them many. many happy years in their new home and what a blessing to be so close to Mom and Dad.
Thank you so much!! Granny is doing good.
Snow, rain, 40 mph winds here in Wyoming. Wife made a spiral cut ham and a crock pot of beans plus corn bread . Were good here.
Sounds great!
We have several winters too in Idaho. Early winter, mid winter, late winter and next winter.
😂😂😂😂❤
😊
You forgot mud winter 😂😂😂. TeresaSue
😂😂
Yes…..we are always preparing for next winter 🥶😳
It would be a dream to live near and be so close with family. Enjoy your blessings!🌼
I've watched y'all for years but I have never commented. I always find it so wonderful to see how much I have in common with y'all. I was born and raised in rural Ohio and all my kinfolk were from the hills of Kentucky and West Virginia. God bless you and yours in these troubling times. ❤
Thank you so much! We appreciate you!
Your carpentry looks beautiful. It’s very nice that you are helping your daughters. I love that.😘🇨🇦
Thank you so much!
Here in western north Texas, when the Mesquite trees start to bud out we can be sure that there will be no more freezes. Mesquites are the last to bud, so when they start showing green, spring is here for certain.
Not too late to restart your peppers! They don’t like the cold. A new start might surprise you. I was taught to plant garlic on the shortest day of the year and harvest on the longest.
Thank you 😊
You are right! And they produce until frost as well!
WHAT. A. PRECIOUS. TIME. Grandbabies. House remodel. Garden expanded. A Full House, indeed! Love your content, kids. Well done!
Thank you so much!
One largely forgotten term for a patch of cold during the springtime is Linsey-Woolsey Britches Winter. “Linsey-Woolsey britches” is an old nickname for long johns, usually spun from a combination of linen and wool. This end-of-spring cold snap marked the day when the Linsey-Woolsey britches could be packed away for the season.
Love that one!
Gas is useful to have as a back-up in case you lose power, if a tree falls on cables etc. ADORE Miss Cindy’s cabinet. It’s stunning.
Thank you 😊
Yes, I meant to comment on that too. It's beautiful and such a lovely reminder to Corie of her Grandmother.
Yes. Hes truly a jack of all trades, a master, such a blessing!
You two are just the sweetest couple..love your family ❤️
😊 thank you
Corie is gonna love the big kitchen. And those countertops and cabinets are beautiful.
And the closet doors Matt was putting up. He does excellent work.
God bless y'all. Love and prayers. 🙏❤
Thank you 😊
The work Mat is doing is amazing. Corey and Austin are very lucky to have you all being able to do all this work. This is a great video. Love to all the family.
Thank you 😊
This is a whole new Volume of their lives. Babies !!!!
It snowed here in Utah yesterday. Ugh!! 😢
I'm so ready for Spring and warm weather!
🌷🪻☀️
My mom and one of my grandmother's used gas stoves.
I prefer gas because if power goes out we can still cook and even heat if need be.
My brother loved that about gas 😊
Tipper, I’m so happy. After seeing your video about potatoes, I found one in my bin with eyes. I cut in half and put it in a grow bag last weekend. Went to check on it and it’s growing! I’m so proud😊
That is cool!
That is great!
I think it's neat how it's come full circle. Your Dad and Matt worked together building your house and now Matt and his Son in law Austin is working on their house. The countertops are beautiful. Hope you find out something about the tiller. Yall have a blessed night.
How wonderful the kitchen will be for the young family !! Beautiful!! How wonderful to have a dad like Matt !! A beautiful blessed family!!
Tipper, you are a blessed woman to have a man like Matt, and he is equally blessed to have you! Matt is not only skilled, but also motivated, which many men lack. And Tipper, you are so talented and have so much common sense about life. Thank you both for sharing with us!
Corrie & Austin are so blessed by Matt. Everything looks beautiful! I know they are grateful to you both.
I was so tickled to hear you saying your daughter said she wanted to be a cooker. One of my little grandsons told me that I was a "good cooker" when he stayed with me years ago. I thought it waa so cute & have never forgotten it. I really enjoy watching your videos.
Love that!
Love the comment! My son when little told me too , that I was a good cooker girl ..made my heart swell. You just dont forget that.
Matt you’re a wonderful dad always helping your daughters. You are doing a great job on Corie’s to do list 😊she and Austin will have a beautiful home and she will have her dad and pap’s hands all over it how special that is ❤️
Thank you so much!
I got married in 1972 at the courthouse in Ringold. Was my favorite place to go.
Here in Tennessee, we have already moved our lawn twice, the kitchen is looking really nice, Matt is truly a handyman.
How wonderful that Matt can do so much of the work. What a beautiful family you have. Your videos bless me!
Thank you so much!
Those countertops turned out beautiful! Matt has done such a good job on everything. Corey and Austin are blessed to have him doing their renovation.
It's cold here in Georgia the wind is strong like March winds some time seeds get old and want grow sometimes it's best to get new plants the house is looking good good luck on everything love you all and God bless all

Everyone needs a Matt in their life but it's really great when he's family!!!! House is looking super!
Love the plywood counters Matt.My husband is a retired jack of all trades but is a licensed carpenter.Thank you Tipper.I know you appreciate Matt as much as I appreciate my husband. You are all very blessed that is plain to see❤
Beautiful kitchen! I so enjoy hearing about your projects. You're going to be making so many wonderful memories to treasure having your grandsons living so close by!! So happy for all of you.❤️
Y'all make me so happy. Just thinking about Austin and Corie in their new home getting ready for their little guy coming soon and picture them using all the things that Matt has done makes a heart feel good.
Thank you 😊
We refer to “coves” as small inlets or small bays along the coast. Funny how words are used differently in other parts of the country!
I wish we lived closer to your family. We live in a beautiful town 25 miles south of Portland, OR in the Willamette Valĺèy. We love your family and you are remembered in our prayers. ❤
Thank you!
I’m so disappointed that Ringgold cancelled! I live a stones throw from downtown Ringgold (all 2 blocks of it) and I was SO EXCITED to meet you! But, I’m so pleased for your family. It’s just growing and blossoming much like your garden!❤TN Nana
I'm sorry too. Thank you 😊
Ringgold Georgia?

My Grandmother told me when the dogwoods are blooming, the crappy were biting. I’ve never heard of whippoorwill winter. Thanks for the video! Always look forward to Sunday afternoons.
So glad you enjoyed it!
I love sharing your lives so I hope you can continue on. Seeing you help the kids move in reminds me of my parents helping us move into our first house and all the remodels. Yes, when the time came, I was there for them. I had to fly in by then but I was there.
Matt is just like my husband…a man of all trades. He has done, and still does, a lot of work like this for my daughter and her husband. He’s saved them a ton of money. ♥️
Absolutely love watching your videos. So much love and it shows.God Bless you guys ❤
Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕👣🍼
Thank you 😊
Shucks! Hate that I’ll miss you guys in Ringgold and that they’ve had issues there at the restaurant, however I know with all you guys have going on between family, babies, helping with the move, gardening and other things…I’m sure it will lighten the load a bit. I’ll try to catch you guys down the road sometime! Right now spending time with the new grandbabies and enjoying time together is the best thing to enjoy! 😊
Thank you 😊
So cool watching their house come along. Thank you for sharing Tipper and Matt.
Love all y’all’s videos! I visited Murphy a few years ago and stumbled across the best little ice cream shop!! It was neat to see when y’all were at Rib Country, and realized I had also eaten there.
Kitchen is looking great! Enjoyed the visit 👍💐
Enjoy visiting with you guys so much
Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Wishing you and your family the very best ❤
Matt is learning what my uncle learned. He is going to be busier in retirement than he was when he worked.
My goodness you two are the best! ❤ & Prayers
It’s great that you’re so close & near each other.
I love visiting with y’all! My family, (parents, sister and aunts/uncles/cousins) were and still are very close like your family. There is NOTHING better!
Bless you!🙏🏻❤️
Oh, my, that kitchen looks like a dream, look at all that cabinet space! Cant wait to see it all done, gonna be so nice!
What a Blessing to have parents that really help! Blessings ❤❤❤
Everything looks really nice. Matt is doing an awesome job & I’m sure it’s very appreciated..I love see how exciting & emotional you are that they are going to be within walking distance ❤
I like the looks of the countertops! And I look forward to meeting you if you can ever come to Raleigh, NC!
The cabinets and countertops are beautiful! I hope we get a grand tour when it's done!

I love your videos. Stayed til the end to listen in on the after talk - my favorite part!
Thank you!
Beautiful wood work.
What a great talent for remodeling the things needed for their home l.
Matt does beautiful work! Can’t wait to see the rest of the house. I loved meeting you, Jim and Corie in Roanoke last year. I hope you will think about having a gathering. ♥️
Looking good yall. We're in red bud winter here in VA, I guess. And we always waited for second week in May here for tomatoes. Climate schedule, but it seems to be changing some every year.
I also love visiting with you , even if only on screen , it's a happy time❤
I so enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for letting us in to see your lives. That's a hard thing to do. I lived three and half years in Tennessee. I had a really nice neighbor lady who was born and grew up in the town I lived in. Actually grew up in the house we lived in. I met her because we bought her parents' house after her dad passed. She lived two doors down from us. She could tell me all about the neighborhood. I enjoyed her stories and she enjoyed mine. I have never lived anyplace longer than 16 years. She thought I had the best stories to tell. It was so nice to enjoy each other.
Beautiful work Mr. Pressley.
Oh my, that kitchen looks beautiful! I can’t wait to see it completely finished. Matt is doing an amazing job and I know Austin has helped too when he’s not working. Good conversations as always. Thanks for letting us hang out!
Thank you for the info. Would wish you could do one in Kentucky, close to Morehead would be good…we are in Ashland, Kentucky…would love to come to a sighing.
Excited to see you again in Knoxville.
Enjoyable progress in the house! 🌱 Tipper has plenty to give her attention to!
Thank you for posting this, I enjoy seeing the progress on the house ane everything that Matt is working on, such wonderful craftsmanship! Love the medicine cabinet from Miss Cindy's place - a very nice touch having something of her's in Austin and Corie's home. They are doing the right thing making the home theirs by decorating and doing alterations as it will be their forever home! Better to do this while empty - opportune time. Now they can move in and enjoy it! ❤ Hugs to everyone xxx
Beautiful cabinets! Love the countertops! Really enjoy all your families channel. So refreshing!Raising my kids in the south was such a Blessing. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Wow chilly over there .,it’s hot in the 80s here in Texas and where I’m at there’s hasn’t been any rain. I think it’s been going all around us.🌱🌱
That is warm 😊
I’m in Texarkana. And it’s in the 80’s here also
All of the updates are looking so nice, and you have the little cabinet from your Ms. Cindy, all of these are such special treasures to have. The counters look really nice too. Love to hear all your stories. Last week I visited a farm store that sold seeds - they were in jars and also had some already weighed out in paper sacks. They had silver queen corn $24 for 1 pound of seed, half a pound was $13. Growing up we had a family friend who grew silver queen and it was always so good but I had no idea corn seed would cost like that. I guess you get a lot of yield for that amount of seed and then do you save it to plant for next year and not have to buy seed after that? Twas eye opening for me just to look and see how different seeds were priced and all. Hope everyone has a great week.
Your counter tops came up well, very surprising for plywood. The finish looks great. I always have to check on a map when you talk about your area and did not realise you were so close to the ocean.
I'm with Matt that I can't wait to see the paddock planted and thriving. All the best wishes to you all
You go on an shed a tear, Tipper. So happy for your Family.
I will be excited about seeing the big garden
@TIPPER GOD BLESS YOU ALL. HEARING YOU TAKES THIS OLD MAN BACK TO MY YOUTH..
Thank you!!
