I totally enjoyed this video. Never thought that there was another big family who would set up the tables in the garage. That’s so much fun. I am the 5th of 6 children. I keep up with my siblings, nieces and nephews on a WhatsApp chat since we are in different states and countries. But, every Monday night at 8 the siblings meet on the chat to catch-up and pray. We have been doing this for the past 11 years when our mother passed. Dad passed away two years before. We think mom passed because of a broken heart. There is nothing like a loving family. Blessings to you and yours.
I’m from a small family but married into a family like yours of 10 siblings. Home was always filled with things to do, get togethers and special occasions. Sadly my husband passed and things will never be the same again but I love the support of all my in-laws. Blessed
What a great family. And Linda, hubs is very handsome, wish we could see him more. Our immediate family consists of seven, with a new marriage coming soon. We all live in the same city, so we are in touch with each other, almost every day. Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!💕👍🏻
It was so nice to meet your family! They all seemed to be so much fun! So nice to see Hubs, too! Beautiful home! You were so sweet to share something so personal with us!!!
This was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Beautiful family.
This was fantastic! Thank you for introducing your family to us, and it was an added bonus to get to see your hubs (so handsome!). I am the oldest of three siblings, with two brothers. We keep in touch through text and Facebook, and we still get together with mom three times each year on holidays. My father died when I was in college (cancer). My hubs and I have two children, one of my brother has three (and two bonus children), and my youngest brother has two, so even the cousins are somewhat limited in number, but we have fun when we are all together. I think a big family would be fun, and yours is beautiful!
Just wanted to take the time to say.. Linda you're so brave to ask your family to participate in your vlog introduction to the gardening community! To all the "sibs" and "hubs" thanks for the happy loving content.. not everyone gets a big fam ❤😊
Loved seeing your family. It is so important to me for my family to remain close. ❤️Ann
What an honor to meet your family 💙 Beautiful home and garden !!! I must also say Hubs is sooo handsome !!! Thank you so much for sharing this 💙
What a lovely home and I always
Wondered
What The 2nd mom
Meant.
Linda I just finished watching you and your lovely family. What a joy to have such a large, close knit, and loving family. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed every minute…❤️
BEAUTIFUL FAMILY…….
Linda- that was wonderful! Your family is very similar to mine in that we often gather and use the garage as our dining room because we are a large group! Loved seeing your sister’s amazing home! Thank you for sharing this with us!
What a fabulously talented and creative family! Most of my family are all gone but it so reminded me of our family gatherings many moons ago! And that house, oh my! Thanks for sharing!
You have a Beautiful family…nice meeting each and everyone of them.Especially Hubs!!❤ The tour of such a beautiful home was so enjoyable!
What a wonderful family, and such a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing. As an only child I always wished to be a part of something like that. Well, I married the youngest of 10 so the last 25 years have been such a blessing.
Lovely family Thanks for sharing
I’m 1 of 14, yes 14! 😂 And I have to count my siblings and their order on my fingers too. The funny thing is I never felt like I was in a big family, until someone mentioned it when we were out and about, otherwise it just felt normal. There was always something going on, it was fun!
I am one of 7 and we do a POD. Which is the picture of the day as well as a family text.
Lovely family and a beautiful home! We are getting together at my sister’s home for thanksgiving, there will be 34 of us. And not everyone will be there! Fingers crossed for good weather as we prefer to eat outside under her huge 100+ year old oak tree.
Oh wow! I live near Zionsville. Didn’t know you were from the Indy area.
When you go back in time, you don’t have to worry about what the new trends are or what is in fashion today. You can just be confident that the best continues to live.
Thank You for sharing Linda…from a fellow Hoosier‼️
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting your precious family. I know you are proud of them, and I'm confident they are very proud of you. Thank you for sharing. I smiled throughout the entire video. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
I enjoyed meeting your family. I can tell the closeness you all shares. Your sisters home looks 😊 nice and cozy! I lives in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Fifteen minutes from Chattanooga, TN. Please tell me what part of Tennessee did you live? 😊 Thank you for sharing.
First what a great family you have. I can't imagine a sibling text that large. We have one of me, my father and brother and some days I have to put my phone on do not disturb because of too much txting. Especially when the subjects get carried away and really should be a phone call.
I loved this video !!! Thank you for introducing us to your lovely family. I only have one brother, one child, 2 grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews on both sides . We keep together by holidays and get togethers , ( my family who are close by ) , and with my husbands family phone calls , IG bc they are all over the US
How fun! Thanks Linda!! 🎉🎉
Lovely family. The house is amazing.
I grew up in Anderson, Indiana. This made me homesick. I will always be a Hoosier, never a Californian. I don't know how you can stand not to move back there. I had a primitive phase and still have a 1700s drysink.
LOVE this video! Thank you ❤
Good day Linda. I was wondering do you ever get close to New York for a book signing?
My sibling clan is half the size of yours, 5 of us but we too are dispersed all over. We keep in touch via group text even with our spouses. We also keep our spouses, now that I think about it, about as long as we keep our homes, lol! 🏡👰♂️. Important things to keep I guess.. if you can.
I am not from a large family. We were composed of 5 siblings and my parents. My extended family are very small too. We use to meet when both of our parents , grandparents, uncles, aunts, however, after the passing of the patriarchies family reunion is no longer done. I only have two sisters and a brother whose lives abroad, my older sister refuses to meet us after our mom’s passed. The second sister, has mental issues, and it’s difficult for her to deal with large meetings.( events). I only have two great children and a 15 year olds grandson. It’s a small family however, I instilled in them to meet, and we gathered. Our reunions tend to be loving, filled with emotions. But most importantly is that we’re a closed nest family. We live in a rented apartment in buildings in a large city. We celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special events in my modest home and with filled it with the Lord’s loves. I’m grateful to you for sharing a glimpse of some of your large family side. Enjoy the camaraderie’s family.!
I have 5 sibs. We talk almost daily on FB messenger.
That was lovely! Your family members are so attractive, accomplished and genuinely nice. Thank you for sharing your family time with us.
When you said your second mom was a nun while showing the photo of all the kids I immediately thought of the Sound of Music ! 😂
Me too! 😊
I did as well.
Me as well!
Me too!
Linda, thank you so much for introducing us to your wonderful family! You have so much to smile about! This is one of my all time favorites of your videos.❣️🥰🥰 Linda
Mine two 👏🤗🇬🇧
Mine three!!@@tadeuszoltarzewski
This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your family with us! Your sister’s house is gorgeous!
It really is a small world Linda. Your sister Barb was my ophthalmologist before I retired and moved from Ft. Wayne to Indianapolis! She did my cataract surgery! She really has a lovely home. Thanks for the tour❣️(She would know me as Cecilia “Jane” Sims.)
Linda, a big thank you to your family for indulging you and us. It was beautiful and so special! Thanks to all.
How great to have such a big family! And nice that they indulged you by speaking on camera. Thanks for sharing and love your sister’s house! 😎🇨🇦
Happy fall great winters ahead much fun ,food, and fires with your family ❤
ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS !!!!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Wonderful family...how hard it must have been to lose your mother so young, and bless Mom2...she must have been special. I'm loving that house!
Oh my, this brought me to tears. I miss my parents and older brother so much. There are no more family gatherings. I am always invited by my sons' dad and his 3rd wife to Thanksgiving. Your family is so precious. Tell your hubs that he looked sharp in this video. I sure wish that he would be on 1 of your home videos where he could tell us his favorite part of your new home.
Linda, thank you sharing your family with us. That was wonderful. They are all good looking too!
I LOVE garage dinners! ❤ What a lovely family and lovely home!
Hi from Australia!! I’m a new subscriber as of 3 days ago and have since watched countless of your house tour videos which I’ve LOVED!! The homes/gardens are just so beautiful. I’ve since shared your videos with a number of friends. Finally, I’d like to send high praise to Stuart for his seamless videoing .. the overall production makes it so relaxing and interesting to watch. Enjoyed meeting the fam! Lots of love xx
Please compliment your sister on her home. What wonderful caretakers they are!
Thank you for being so open to sharing your lovely family with all of us on your channel. Lovely family.
You have a lovely family...so nice to meet them! Good looking family! You can see how close all of you are. The home is lovely. I love antique homes with all the character...woodwork, transoms and beautiful antiques. Lovely garden and area, too. Thank you for the introduction to your family.😃
I was expecting you to say that your second mother's name was Maria and all of you to break out into song! Beautiful family!
Was anyone else thinking that little girl Linda looked absolutely charming? I’m sure that everyone wanted to be your friend, growing up. Your beauty, kindness, joy, and charm is easily seen in the photo that you shared. How lovely it was to see this flashback into your childhood, as well as a snapshot of your extended family. Thank you!
LINDA, THANKS FOR SHARING AND LETTING US INTO YOUR SISTER'S BEAUTIFUL HOME AND FOR INTRODUCING YOUR FAMILY. GREETINGS FROM TEXAS. 🤠👍
It’s a pleasure meeting your family. ❤
When Mom and Dad were still here, Dad called me every night at 10 and then when they got older, he called at nine. The first night after they were gone was so sad without that call. Loved your family and the house tour! Thanks Linda.
Ohhh what fun! Thanks for sharing your family with us, Linda. I have 2 sisters; so small family. Tragically I believe our parents were the glue to our get togethers. Since they have passed, it is seldom to never. Breaks my heart. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Thanks Linda, that was fun! You have a lovely family. My dad was one of eight of a large Italian family, plus cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. This reminded me of so many wonderful gatherings and dinners in the garage when there just wasn't enough space in the house. ❤
What a sweet personal video. My husband comes from a large family so I know how wonderful it is when we can all gather. ❤ Loved the beautiful home tour too!!
What a lovely, good looking family. Such love, beautiful home. God Bless “2nd mommy” for raising 7 children. What an amazing blessing. Precious video!❤️
I love seeing a large family that gets along so well together! My 4 siblings and I group text and email to keep up with each other. We also rotate hosting an annual 'get together' every year since we are spread out geographically as well. With all of the spouses, kids, and grandkids we have a total of 25 (plus one on the way). Several of us also travel together several times a year.
Thank you so much for sharing your family with us Linda!!! And a warm hello to HUBS!!! Glad we finally got to say hello to the behind the scenes infamous hubs.
Linda, I hope you consider writing a book about your family history, as it is remarkable!❤
Hi Linda! Thank you for taking us along on your visit to Indianna! Barbs home is just beautiful!!! It was a pleasure to meet most of your family and hubs! I think it is so nice how you stay in touch with all your siblings! I have two younger brothers who I am very close to! I now live in Florida and they are still in New Jersey however I talk to my youngest brother every day and my middle brother (because of his work schedule) weekly. Hugs! :) Hi Stewart! PS: Congratulations to the newlyweds!!
WOW ! What a wild wonderful Family ! Congrats to you and Thank you so much for introducing us ! LOVED IT !
I loved this heartfelt video! Thank you for taking us on this loving tour! Good Blessings to the newlyweds!
I loved this! What a beautiful (and smart) family!
Hi Linda, born and bred Hoosier here! I know Zionsville and Indianapolis well. So nice to finally see your siblings. Your sisters home was lovely! Thanks for sharing ❤
Linda,,your second mom was Julie Andrews and you guys were the Von Trap family!!
Awww, thank you Linda. That was very interesting & fun to meet your family & hear about some of your background. How I wish I had a big family! What a true blessing.❤
I loved this video! I grew up in NJ and went to school in Sioux Falls, SD. I spent a lot of time with my roommate and her family on their farm and in their community. I was considered a member of the family and was a guest at many family celebrations. Your family gathering brought back so many warm and fond memories for me .....from the delicious looking homemade food to the simple dining set up in the garage. Thank you to your family for allowing us to have a peek into your extended family life.
Wow, what a beautiful home. It is like going back in time. The period furniture is perfect. Loved the parlour with the painted trim and fireplace... and the clock chimes , right on cue! I can only imagine the gorgeous sunsets out over those cornfields. The spice chest radio is such a family treasure. What a great, accomplished, beautiful family. My mother was 13 of 21 children, and my husband was 13th of 14 children. I had one son! haha .. But I do have 3 grandsons. So waiting for those boys to expand the family tree.
Thank you for sharing your lovely family with us. Just like you, they don't seem to be camera shy. I love when families gather for important events. Eat, drink and be merry! Everybody chips in to help, very casual. But your sisters' home! I love her style, love her antiques. So sorry for the loss of your Mom at such a young age, but how lucky for you to have a "2nd" Mom and more siblings! I love big families! And we got to meet "hubs" again.
I just knew I was going to Love this treat, cause I have so enjoyed Linda’s talents, warmth, welcoming heart for all and love of family… and now I got to glimpse at how it was lovingly cared for and influenced. Thank you Linda for once again inspiring me to the very core. 💝
Thank you so much for letting us in to see your amazing family. ❤I can't imagine being a 9 in 10 family. It's wonderful to see around their home as well do thank them for sharing with us. 👏I come from a very small family and it brought a tear of happiness to my eye to feel the love from them to you. Great to see Hubs at last🙌. We must drive him mad with all our girl talk😆. Sending love from Rosie O from a rainy☔ Devon, England 🇬🇧😍
Thank you Linda for sharing your family with us. What a wonderful blessing to have a large and close family.
Such a lovely vlog Linda! You have a beautiful family. So sweet of them to willingly be filmed for YT! Wishing you all the best from Canada!
Thank you Linda for sharing your part of your family's siblings and what a beautiful big family and so incredible how you keeping up with family bonding and amazing gatherings . What a bless ❤
Beautiful family, Linda! I'm from a family of seven sisters, your family gathering looks so much like mine, I've lost count of family members years ago at 50+ at Thanksgiving. We're spread all over the country now, and can't get everyone together like in the past. I so enjoyed seeing your family get together at that beautiful home❣️
So sweet of you to share your family. It’s wonderful to see the history of your sister‘s home, so beautiful.
What fun! I so enjoyed meeting your lovely family. Your brothers seem like a lot of fun.
What a wonderful family! Reminds me of Thanksgiving growing up. My dad was one of nine and they all had kids. Some several. And they all converged at my grandfather’s house until we just couldn’t get it clean. 😆 Then everyone began coming to our house. Every year. At times close to 70 people. Did that until about 15 years ago. I am 67. We now meet at a church kitchen and dining area that one of my last two aunts attends. Not the same but I have the memories. Thanks for sharing.
This was so beautiful. So grateful you shared a glimpse with us. As soon as you started filming the landscape around your sisters house, I saw bits of you the there (ie great style, taste, boxwoods etc) … family is such a blessing! ❤️
What an amazing lovely and loving family. Thank you to everyone for sharing yourselves with us.
My mom comes from a family of 13. I am 75 now and have over 50 cousins , and uncountable second cousins etc. We have a private Facebook group that we can all post to and share photos, memories etc and it has really helped us all stay connected with each other. I made a "genealogy road trip" with my scanner a few years ago while my mom was still living, and now we have all the old family photo scanned and shareable with each other.
I am always impressed with the big open blue skies out in the country ❤.
Thank you for opening your family up to us for a peek . 😍😍
I’m an only child so it was so much fun meeting your family. Your sister’s home is beautiful ❤️ Thank you for sharing.
Sometimes having siblings isn't that great.
I'm an only child. There's not much left of my family. I did not have children. However, I married one of nine. It was a joy to see your siblings.
That was so much fun to watch. So nice that you all make an effort to keep in touch. The family unity is definitely what is missing today. Kudos to you all.
What an amazing family history. So kind of you to share with us.
Thank you for sharing your family with us. Nothing like family!!! Beautiful home!
Thank your family for sharing their special day with all of us. I have one sister who lives close by. I was 28 when my only cousin was born. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have such a large immediate family.
I am 3 of 4 kids but happy to come from a large extended family who host a family reunion annually. We had our 90th reunion this year in Augusta GA with 300 in attendance. We have a family Facebook page where we post family updates, losses, and celebrations. We also have a prayer phone line with weekly calls.
How beautiful!
What a wonderful large family and the love amongst you shows. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your family time with all of us. Everyone was lovely and your evening looked wonderful!
Is your family the Von Trapps? Stepmom a nun & 7 children.
Just received 2 of your Garden Journal books which I placed the order for several months ago. The BOOK is BEAUTIFUL - wrapping up one for me and one for my daughter in law ! 🎄🎅❤
Gorgeous home.
Lovely family.
That was wonderful Linda to get to meet your family!
Linda, I loved this video and seeing your family! Just wonderful family memory making. I am from a very small family. My parents and brother and my husband’s parents and sister are deceased. We have two married sons. We have one granddaughter in college working for her 4 year nursing degree. A RN in the making and she is pulling straight A’s making the President’s List at college. This grandma is pulling her grandma rights to brag a bit. Thanks Linda for sharing your family.. BTW your sister’s home is just gorgeous!
My favorite video so far! What a wonderful family you have. Thanks for letting us take a gander into your personal life! So nice. 🍁🍂
What a beautiful family! Absolutely loved the amazing home and you sharing everything about it! Thank you for introducing us to your family! You all are fabulous and so inspiring! Thank you for sharing!!
I come from a large family as well in Springfield, Missouri! My mom is one of 10, my dad is one of 5 and I am one of 5. All of my aunts and uncles as well as my siblings all live here where we were born. No one moved away so I have hundreds of cousins! With my siblings alone, I have 20 nieces and nephews and we have 6 children! We see each other and most cousins weekly if not daily! My husband’s grandparents opened a flower shop and greenhouse in 1949 in Springfield! My mom and several aunts and my cousins are most of the employees. We work together! Staying in touch with family is a must! We wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s so much fun!!
