Just wanted to take the time to say.. Linda you're so brave to ask your family to participate in your vlog introduction to the gardening community! To all the "sibs" and "hubs" thanks for the happy loving content.. not everyone gets a big fam ❤😊
Was anyone else thinking that little girl Linda looked absolutely charming? I’m sure that everyone wanted to be your friend, growing up. Your beauty, kindness, joy, and charm is easily seen in the photo that you shared. How lovely it was to see this flashback into your childhood, as well as a snapshot of your extended family. Thank you!
Linda, thank you so much for introducing us to your wonderful family! You have so much to smile about! This is one of my all time favorites of your videos.❣️🥰🥰 Linda
I have 5 siblings, 2 brothers Larel and Lowell, 3 sisters Marlene and Charlene (the twins) and the baby Readith (named for my moms sister). I am great full that we all live within 2 1/2 hrs of each other. We are very close and get together very often. We only have 9 children between us. There are lots of in-laws and grandchildren so we are a big family. It’s nice to see another family like ours.
I totally enjoyed this video. Never thought that there was another big family who would set up the tables in the garage. That’s so much fun. I am the 5th of 6 children. I keep up with my siblings, nieces and nephews on a WhatsApp chat since we are in different states and countries. But, every Monday night at 8 the siblings meet on the chat to catch-up and pray. We have been doing this for the past 11 years when our mother passed. Dad passed away two years before. We think mom passed because of a broken heart. There is nothing like a loving family. Blessings to you and yours.
It was so cool to see your dad's and second mom's wedding picture, especially the one with all the kids. You speak so sweetly of your 2nd mom. What an incredible lady she must have been to marry a man with seven children and take on the role of mom. She sounds even more fascinating now to learn she had been a nun and surgery nurse! She lived a full life, wow!
It really is a small world Linda. Your sister Barb was my ophthalmologist before I retired and moved from Ft. Wayne to Indianapolis! She did my cataract surgery! She really has a lovely home. Thanks for the tour❣️(She would know me as Cecilia “Jane” Sims.)
When Mom and Dad were still here, Dad called me every night at 10 and then when they got older, he called at nine. The first night after they were gone was so sad without that call. Loved your family and the house tour! Thanks Linda.
Linda your husband looks like Clark Gable.. He is very handsome. You make a great couple! Your siblings and extented family are so lovely! This home is gorgeous..those windows are stunning..perfectly decorated..thankyou for sharing!
What a great family. And Linda, hubs is very handsome, wish we could see him more. Our immediate family consists of seven, with a new marriage coming soon. We all live in the same city, so we are in touch with each other, almost every day. Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!💕👍🏻
You have a lovely family...so nice to meet them! Good looking family! You can see how close all of you are. The home is lovely. I love antique homes with all the character...woodwork, transoms and beautiful antiques. Lovely garden and area, too. Thank you for the introduction to your family.😃
How fun to have such a large and down to earth family who come together to celebrate each other. Love that you were eating in the garage! Love the authenticity of everyone and everything. Brats and guac forever!!
What a lovely, good looking family. Such love, beautiful home. God Bless “2nd mommy” for raising 7 children. What an amazing blessing. Precious video!❤️
I’m from a small family but married into a family like yours of 10 siblings. Home was always filled with things to do, get togethers and special occasions. Sadly my husband passed and things will never be the same again but I love the support of all my in-laws. Blessed
Thank you Linda for sharing your part of your family's siblings and what a beautiful big family and so incredible how you keeping up with family bonding and amazing gatherings . What a bless ❤
How in the world did I miss this video. Your sister's home is amazing! I grew up in an older home, but this one is awesome. How wonderful to meet your family and how nice of them to allow you to video them. You are truly blessed to have such a huge caring family. Bye the way, your hubs is very handsome! He should be on your video's more often!!!
It was so nice to meet your family! They all seemed to be so much fun! So nice to see Hubs, too! Beautiful home! You were so sweet to share something so personal with us!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your family with us Linda!!! And a warm hello to HUBS!!! Glad we finally got to say hello to the behind the scenes infamous hubs.
Hello Linda! While family business may be private or personal to some people, it was awesome to see the matching faces of family members you have mentioned in your videos. One can tell the love your siblings all share! It makes your heart warm to see everyone together even though youre all spread across the country! Thank you for sharing❤
What a sweet personal video. My husband comes from a large family so I know how wonderful it is when we can all gather. ❤ Loved the beautiful home tour too!!
Oh my, this brought me to tears. I miss my parents and older brother so much. There are no more family gatherings. I am always invited by my sons' dad and his 3rd wife to Thanksgiving. Your family is so precious. Tell your hubs that he looked sharp in this video. I sure wish that he would be on 1 of your home videos where he could tell us his favorite part of your new home.
This was fantastic! Thank you for introducing your family to us, and it was an added bonus to get to see your hubs (so handsome!). I am the oldest of three siblings, with two brothers. We keep in touch through text and Facebook, and we still get together with mom three times each year on holidays. My father died when I was in college (cancer). My hubs and I have two children, one of my brother has three (and two bonus children), and my youngest brother has two, so even the cousins are somewhat limited in number, but we have fun when we are all together. I think a big family would be fun, and yours is beautiful!
Have you ever seen a bigger group of handsome, beautiful, intelligent, friendly folks? Your dad and moms created a wonderful legacy through all the people you bless in your far-flung locations and vocations.❤
Thanks Linda, that was fun! You have a lovely family. My dad was one of eight of a large Italian family, plus cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. This reminded me of so many wonderful gatherings and dinners in the garage when there just wasn't enough space in the house. ❤
Thanks Linda, for sharing your family with us. So interesting to see how close you all are and their interesting professions. What a beautiful family you have.
Hi Linda, born and bred Hoosier here! I know Zionsville and Indianapolis well. So nice to finally see your siblings. Your sisters home was lovely! Thanks for sharing ❤
Hi Linda! Thank you for taking us along on your visit to Indianna! Barbs home is just beautiful!!! It was a pleasure to meet most of your family and hubs! I think it is so nice how you stay in touch with all your siblings! I have two younger brothers who I am very close to! I now live in Florida and they are still in New Jersey however I talk to my youngest brother every day and my middle brother (because of his work schedule) weekly. Hugs! :) Hi Stewart! PS: Congratulations to the newlyweds!!
I just knew I was going to Love this treat, cause I have so enjoyed Linda’s talents, warmth, welcoming heart for all and love of family… and now I got to glimpse at how it was lovingly cared for and influenced. Thank you Linda for once again inspiring me to the very core. 💝
Linda, what a treat to be invited into your family life. It’s clear that they’re all as sweet and genuine as you are. As for keeping in touch with family, several of my female cousins and I reconnected at a family reunion several years and we’ve been Zooming weekly ever since. It truly saved us during COVID.
I love seeing a large family that gets along so well together! My 4 siblings and I group text and email to keep up with each other. We also rotate hosting an annual 'get together' every year since we are spread out geographically as well. With all of the spouses, kids, and grandkids we have a total of 25 (plus one on the way). Several of us also travel together several times a year.
Lol... the sister at the end..."are you into videoing while we're standing here?" 🤣 How wonderful for your family to get together like this! My 94 yr old father in law is with us as I type this right now. I love this time of year and how special it is to spend time with those you love.
Awww, thank you Linda. That was very interesting & fun to meet your family & hear about some of your background. How I wish I had a big family! What a true blessing.❤
Linda I just finished watching you and your lovely family. What a joy to have such a large, close knit, and loving family. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed every minute…❤️
Thank you for sharing your lovely family with us. Just like you, they don't seem to be camera shy. I love when families gather for important events. Eat, drink and be merry! Everybody chips in to help, very casual. But your sisters' home! I love her style, love her antiques. So sorry for the loss of your Mom at such a young age, but how lucky for you to have a "2nd" Mom and more siblings! I love big families! And we got to meet "hubs" again.
I have one brother...we're 10 yrs apart, I'm older. We live near each other. He is married to his wonderful wife, who I just love. They have two adult children...love them very much, too. I'm going to start building my little dream retirement home on family land...half a mile from my brother and his wife. My parents taught us to cherish family, and we have so many good memories of both sides. We (cousins) don't get together nearly as much as we should. I think we owe it to our parents and their siblings to keep up the family ties and connections. They did and thus made our wonderful memories. This is my favorite video you've done. ❤
Ohhh what fun! Thanks for sharing your family with us, Linda. I have 2 sisters; so small family. Tragically I believe our parents were the glue to our get togethers. Since they have passed, it is seldom to never. Breaks my heart. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
My mom comes from a family of 13. I am 75 now and have over 50 cousins , and uncountable second cousins etc. We have a private Facebook group that we can all post to and share photos, memories etc and it has really helped us all stay connected with each other. I made a "genealogy road trip" with my scanner a few years ago while my mom was still living, and now we have all the old family photo scanned and shareable with each other.
Linda, thank you for sharing your lovely family. They are all so nice❤ You are truly blessed. The home is so comforting and historically accurate. Again, thank you❤
I am the youngest of 9. 6 Boys, 3 girls. I lost my last sibling in 2022 the day after Thanksgiving. Sometimes now it makes me feel lonesome. I enjoyed your video and seeing your family very much. ❤
I loved this video! I grew up in NJ and went to school in Sioux Falls, SD. I spent a lot of time with my roommate and her family on their farm and in their community. I was considered a member of the family and was a guest at many family celebrations. Your family gathering brought back so many warm and fond memories for me .....from the delicious looking homemade food to the simple dining set up in the garage. Thank you to your family for allowing us to have a peek into your extended family life.
Beautiful family, Linda! I'm from a family of seven sisters, your family gathering looks so much like mine, I've lost count of family members years ago at 50+ at Thanksgiving. We're spread all over the country now, and can't get everyone together like in the past. I so enjoyed seeing your family get together at that beautiful home❣️
What a wonderful family, and such a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing. As an only child I always wished to be a part of something like that. Well, I married the youngest of 10 so the last 25 years have been such a blessing.
My Dad was one of 10 and my Mom was one of 5. While their generation was alive, they kept the extended family together and in the know. Now that they are gone there is little communication. I was an only child and feel rather alone. Your family looks lovely! Bev
I wonder how many viewers cried thinking about a brother or sister or parents that we haven’t seen for along time or have passed on ❤but you could feel the love threw the video . 😊shout out to the hubby
What a lovely and talented family you have! Your brother, Dave, reminds me so much of your friend, John. I have one brother and one sister. My brother is a retired three-star lieutenant US Army general. I make supper for him and his wife once a week. I talk to my sister on the phone every night at 11:30 pm. We are both night owls and enjoy talking before we go to bed. There's nothing like the closeness (and diversity) among family members. I'm a retired first-grade teacher. It was great meeting your family and seeing how you interact with each other. There's not a dud in the lot of you!!! LOL!
Wow, what a beautiful home. It is like going back in time. The period furniture is perfect. Loved the parlour with the painted trim and fireplace... and the clock chimes , right on cue! I can only imagine the gorgeous sunsets out over those cornfields. The spice chest radio is such a family treasure. What a great, accomplished, beautiful family. My mother was 13 of 21 children, and my husband was 13th of 14 children. I had one son! haha .. But I do have 3 grandsons. So waiting for those boys to expand the family tree.
Thank your family for sharing their special day with all of us. I have one sister who lives close by. I was 28 when my only cousin was born. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have such a large immediate family.
Nice to put some faces with your references. A large family that is close is a rarity these days. Well educated and talented and close. What a great combo. Beautiful home
What a beautiful family! Absolutely loved the amazing home and you sharing everything about it! Thank you for introducing us to your family! You all are fabulous and so inspiring! Thank you for sharing!! I come from a large family as well in Springfield, Missouri! My mom is one of 10, my dad is one of 5 and I am one of 5. All of my aunts and uncles as well as my siblings all live here where we were born. No one moved away so I have hundreds of cousins! With my siblings alone, I have 20 nieces and nephews and we have 6 children! We see each other and most cousins weekly if not daily! My husband’s grandparents opened a flower shop and greenhouse in 1949 in Springfield! My mom and several aunts and my cousins are most of the employees. We work together! Staying in touch with family is a must! We wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s so much fun!!
Hi from Australia!! I’m a new subscriber as of 3 days ago and have since watched countless of your house tour videos which I’ve LOVED!! The homes/gardens are just so beautiful. I’ve since shared your videos with a number of friends. Finally, I’d like to send high praise to Stuart for his seamless videoing .. the overall production makes it so relaxing and interesting to watch. Enjoyed meeting the fam! Lots of love xx
My granny was one of 12 and all very educated people. They stayed close over the years mostly in Arkansas, my dad moved to California where he raised his family but came back to Arkansas in the 70s. Family is so important thank you for sharing yours
Loved this video. I come from a family of five siblings. After the passing of our parents we are still close and still celebrate Christmas and a summer get together about once a year.❤❤ loved the tour, beautiful home!
Just wanted to take the time to say.. Linda you're so brave to ask your family to participate in your vlog introduction to the gardening community! To all the "sibs" and "hubs" thanks for the happy loving content.. not everyone gets a big fam ❤😊

When you said your second mom was a nun while showing the photo of all the kids I immediately thought of the Sound of Music ! 😂
Me too! 😊
I did as well.
Me as well!
Me too!

What a wonderful large family and the love amongst you shows. Thanks for sharing.
I am always impressed with the big open blue skies out in the country ❤.
Thank you for opening your family up to us for a peek . 😍😍
What an amazing family history. So kind of you to share with us.
Loved! A big family is a blessing!!!

Thank you for sharing your family with us. Your sisters house is beautiful. I have one sister and I’m very fortunate, she is my neighbor.
