I love mine but the logo is too big and silly looking! I am trying to figure out how to remove with it out damaging the vinyl.

How much space should be between the basket and awning?
Just ordered my 2.5m awning and awning Xtra. Looking forward to trying it out. One thing I found that works GREAT are the long "screw" type tent stakes. I just use my Ryobi18V drill and the stakes go right in the ground and won't pull out. Can't be used on rocks of course, but that's where you'd lash around a heavy rock. That is MT Hood here in Oregon.
How would I set this up if I were parked on a parking lot? If there isn’t any wind, could I just set it up while I’m stopped for a short time without anchoring it into the ground, or will it just fall?
The awning will free stand on its own.
What lock do you recommend to lock the two zippers? Or what do you do to hide the zippers from view?
Awning zippers aren't meant to be hidden. If you pull them to the back of the awning during stow away, it will reduce jingle noise. Hope that helps!
I just recieved mine yesterday. I installed it and there is space between the awning and the roof basket. Is that correct?
The placement of your awning can be personal preference. If you've installed it in a position that allows no interfere with other parts of your vehicle such as a rear hatch or your door. You're good to go.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the 6.5 footer. How are they in the wind? My DIY awning is terrible having no solid poles around the perimeter, hence the upgrade. I'm guessing the guy lines are a must on windy days?
Good judgment will always win the day when conditions are questionable. Any awning will act as a giant sail on the side of your vehicle if not properly secured so make sure to do that when setting up. And just keep an eye on the conditions. If it gets gusty perhaps re-position the vehicle so it acts like a wind block, or stow the awning to prevent an accident. Hope this helps!

My son just bought me one for my RAV 4. There are no brackets or instructions.....anyone can help me out???
The awnings come with L brackets. Make sure those were included in your hardware bag. These L brackets are designed to work with a variety of aftermarket roof racks. Many aftermarket roof rack manufacturers also make specific awning brackets just for their rack. If you are mounting this on a stock factory roof rack then here is a great hack you can do. Simply get some stainless steel hose clamps from your local hardware store, 2 clamps per L-bracket are needed. Use the clamps to secure each L bracket to the roof rack cross bar and then you can hang your awning. That way you do not need to drill any holes. Hope this helps! Would it fit on top of a 02 nissan r50 pathfinder
Our awnings are not vehicle-specific. All you need is a roof rack to attach the awning mounting brackets to. If you have a factory roof rack you can mount the awning L brackets to your factory roof rack cross bars using some stainless steel hose clamps. Hope this helps!

The awning in the video is a 2.5M awning or 8.2ft.
What size is that? 6.5 or 8ft?
The 200 Series here has our 8' awning on it.
