Only my guess but the movement speed buff is really good on Nid for both engage and disengage and the bonus damage + haste is pretty good on her with that when engaging too. Luden's would be good against more tanky enemies but the only thing the enemy has here is Nasus while he got Braum and Garen to watch out so I think it's not that important especially considering how active on lanes he was.

Yeah it gives + 5% Attack damage or magic damage. There are many videos on dragons and I would recommend watching them they’re really useful
