I'm a Nigerian, you're saying the real truth , even if Ghana is as big as Nigerians, it's still going to be the same as they are now, with cleanliness etc. They're cool people, I love Ghanaians
It's really interesting to hear all the praise you had for Ghana. As a Ghanaian we complain about these same things you complained about happening in Nigeria. I believe Ghana is making efforts but not perfect at all but glad we have given such good impressions. I guess we Ghanaians should be more appreciative.
There is one thing about some Nigerians not all though they hate to hear the truth especially when it comes to where a small country like Ghana is being praised it irritates them but you know what you guys should learn how to embrace good criticism in order for you to correct your mistakes and mover forward as a nation and people that would help you and your country and Africa at large. Why are some Nigerians upset about miss grace’s observations? It’s HER observations and God has given her the right to express them. I think she is being very respectful to both Ghana and Nigeria. If you want a country to improve you must face the reality of the situation. Nigeria should be the powerhouse of not only Africa but of the world. Yes the government is corrupt but also the common man. It is up to the people to make a change by the way the act towards one another. The fact is Nigeria is corrupt from the top to the bottom and people love money more than their fellow brothers and sisters. If you love Nigeria you would want the system to change and not hide from the truth.
Max K Absolutely, there’s corruption in Ghana, and even the United States is not free from corruption. However, it’s not deeply rooted and pervasive like Nigeria. Rule of law is allowed to work and offenders are prosecuted. The problem with Nigeria is that, politicians and most people are not patriotic, everyone is about themselves until that perception changes, it will stay the same.
No wonder my good Ghanaian friends flew right back to Ghana from the United States after their masters' degree!!! They didn't even say they wanted to stay back in the US.( when there was no coronavirus).
There are many Nigerians that are employed in the formal sector. I work in a bank here in Ghana and there are a few Nigerians here. In Nungua where I live there are many Nigerians here. So yes, you'll feel right at home. You're welcome.
Let's not hate each other based on identities created by Europeans - we're one Africa whether we like it or not. Both Ghana and Nigeria are home to me. A win for Ghana is a win for Nigeria and vice versa. One Love, Peace & Unity🇬🇭🇳🇬🇬🇭🇳🇬
My unsolicited take on this as someone who was born in 9ja to Ghanaian parents and have love for both countries is that, Gh and 9ja have this love-hate relationship just like any sibling rivalry. However, I think both countries love and respect each other and that's what counts.
Remember that more than half of Ghana's population is in the Caribbean, North America and other parts of the world. They got there by way of slavery (theft) However, we are being invited back home.
