Woosung has one of the best voices in music, in my opinion. His pitch and tone are perfect and his delivery is so unique and hauntingly beautiful. I’m a huge fan and so glad he’s getting this exposure and gaining new fans.
SUGA contacted Woosung and asked him to do this with him. Woosung wrote his part. His voice really suits this and it's lovely that this song is a way to remember Ryuichi Sakamoto. Ryuichi was my age. Makes me think of my mortality.
Thank you for reaction this song. I'm Japanese J-ARMY and I have been listening professor Ryuichi Sakamoto's music for 40 years. Yoongi knew he had terminal cancer before Yoongi met him in person last September in Japan. This song is really special to me. Thank you Yoongi. My country lost great composer.
Mr. Sakamoto’s was the first CD I ever purchased. I love his music so much and was so excited to see Yoongi had a chance to meet and work with him. I know he viewed him as a hero.
I’m a 46 year old army from the UK and I fell in love with Ryuichi Sakamotos music after hearing his work in the film ‘Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence’. It’s a hauntingly beautiful piece of work. I’m so glad they got to work together to create this beautiful track.✌️💜
Yoongi was so blessed to meet his mentor...and to work with him on THIS track before the famed pianist's passing. So this come together as Ryuichi Sakamoto's last work, and Yoongi also got to fulfill his dream of meeting and working with him.
Ryiuchi Sakamoto played the piano on this track.. one of his last work... and yes beautiful song and message! This was the Disney + promo so the studio version was playing here, but in the actual Disney documentary you can really hear the live arrangement and i had goosebumps! Thanks for the reaction 💜
what a wonderful situation this presented, Ryuichi Sakamoto gave Yoongi a gift of meeting with him and agreeing to work with him -- in turn Yoongi elevates the pianist's legacy with this track, which crosses over genres and bringing him to potential new listeners and fans. Incredible. :)
Suga wanted to meet Ryuichi Sakamoto - knew he was ill. There is a video out of them meeting and spending time together, Suga plays for him I think this song... when he passed Suga had a condolence too- he was so honored to meet him before he passed. We should never withhold our appreciation of someone for their inspiration in our lives... you never know when they will be gone.
Yoongi got emotional on nearly every tour stop when he sang this…he means every damn word 🥹 And Woosung (as well as The Rose) is amazing. His voice is just everything
I was a fan of Ryuichi Sakamoto so the first time I learned Yoongi was a fan i felt so connected to him. Watched his doc of Yoongi meeting Sakamoto made me tear up. This is a beautiful song & Woosung was perfect for it.💜
Suga is very talented! D-Day and the song Snoize with Woosung’s hook in there( Woosung’s unique beautiful voice) is a masterpiece within itself! The are awesome together! I am a big BTS fan, they call us Army and they are not only a phenomenal group but soloist artists! I start each day with this song. I’m 65 yrs old and am hooked on BTS! 1 of my 7 loves and now a fan of Woosung as well!💜💜❤️
Yall can't believe how proud I am of woosung...I've been a fan of The Rose for long time and seeing woosung get popular and get to collab with yoongi is making me so happy
Sakamoto won countless awards around the world including a Grammy, an Oscar, and Golden Globes here in the US. Yoongi admired him even as a middle schooler. I am so glad he got to meet his hero.
Yoongi has a way with rap that he conveys emotions so deeply! Even without the translations you can feel the depth, you can feel that he's encouraging you. The way the song is arranged and the music is produced just hits ya in the feels.
Suga and the rest of bts love to be a part of helping these other talented artists come into the light and be recognized for their contributions to music. ❤❤❤❤❤
This song legit makes me cry every single time. I saw this song performed live at Yoongi's concert last week in New York and I cried all over again, it was an unforgettable experience. The best concert I attended aside from BTS. Thank you for reacting to this masterpiece.
This is a Masterpiece. Even if I'm not a fan of BTS , I have seen all Suga's - Agust D songs. This guy is a music genius . Thank you for reaction 🙇♀🙇♀
The "Dream" chord sequence comes from a song on the Agust D first mixtape, So Far Away featuring Suran. Suga re-recorded it featuring Jin and JK. Enjoy!!!!! ua-cam.com/video/iAea2MN-qyo/v-deo.htmlsi=GrzsGviCpiXvx1bb
This rap is filled with a lot of wisdom for arstist or anyone coming behind the success of BTS - Suga and RM have made themselves available to the upcoming artist many times to give incite as leaders, producers, inspiration, and have showcased their talent. Suga even stated the reason for Suchwita was to have a place for his younger brothers/BTS to talk about thier solo projects... and then he also has members of other Hybe groups that are younger come on too giving them exposure. Suga is changing right before our eyes. He probably has always had these feelings but never expressed them, now that he is older and can take responsibility for his wordseasily expressing himself. I think Snooze and Amygdala are powerful songs with so much truth for anyone trying to be successful, because all the self demons have to be dealt with before you can give yourself away knowing that you never run on empty again. Also, Woosung is Korean American and came to Korea to be in a competition and was let go early on... He is now doing well on his own but Suga is showing him off to the industry by having him on this song in this video. To all those coming behind..."everything is gonna be alright... so Dream!"
In my crazed imagination this is Suga's response to RM's Wildflower song. RM chose a fantastic vocalist to contrast with his rap...and now Yoongi is doing the same in his flower song, Woosung's vocals are absolutely haunting, but the song less clearly named Snooze. What if he'd named it Blooming Dream. That is what it is in my head.
I lost it at Chicago d1 at this song and polar night.. i was crying so hard.. to be able to see this live just …. Love the whole album but this song speaks to me on another level just like Louder than bombs, House of cards and Rain from BTS… yes, blooming dream….
I absolutely Love this song! It's one of my favorites on his album! First time hearing Woosung and I love his voice too. There is something kind of haunting about it. I was so happy to see Yoongi got to meet his favorite pianist before he passed away. He went to Japan to meet him. It's in his documentary, which you were seeing parts of in this MV.
When I was much younger Ryuichi Sakamoto was my piano teachers favorite composer. He will truly be missed. Woosung is a member of The Rose and he does have a beautiful voice!
Woosung has one of the most beautiful voices... when I 1st heard him voice 5 years ago I had tears in my eyes, chills down my spine... his voice touched the deepest and darkest places of my heart and soul 🖤🔥
Beautiful song. The lyrics are so touching: to his fellow musician young peers. Such a beautiful message. Then Master Ryuichi and the beautiful voice of Woosung. We will follow our dreams. He has our back. Yes, in one song he expresses gratitude, wisdom, comfort, hope and love.
Thank you all your love to 윤기~ That phrase you repeated is pronounce like this. "DA GWEN CHAN AH JIL KU YAH" That means "everything will be ok" I love Yoonki's straight words! Not flowery words go straight what he wants to say!!!
My question, is that Ryuichi playing the piano in the background? This is just plain beautiful. Suga looks and sounds amazing, Woo-sung has an incredible voice. Lyrics are incredible of course. Such a great song. 💜
Ryuchi Sakamoto was his idol, but in Road to D-Day Riyuchi seemed almost more excited to meet Yoongi! The song is for his members and other new artists for advice on his past 10 years! He is truly amazing! One of the best song writers of modern times! In my opinion!
I'm not real big on fan made MV(FMV), but Elissa makes some really moving, quality videos for songs that really deserve to have a video made. You should check out more from that channel💜
Merci beaucoup. Suga is real HH future. But thank you for don't forget one musicien (and not only pianist) of HH music history, Ryuichi Sakamoto, my master (like Jam Master Jay or in France DJ Dee Nasty). In react video, you are da one.

I think he’s saying a form of geuwenchana 그웬차나, which I think means I’m all right or it’s gonna be ok? But I don’t know exactly. I’m sure I’m not adding what needs to be added to the root word to convey its full meaning. (I’m trying to learn)
Thanks bro. Thank you for these deep reaction. Most reactors just skip the meaning of words and emotions, they just need a good flow only.. but hip hop is not that type of thing. Yes Suga has a unique flow, but at the same time more than it is its meaning, emotion, lyrics. As a rapper and producer Suga always gives all his souls to the songs. Snooze is so beautiful. Because it is one of the last works of genius Sagamoto. RIP.
Why, why, why, do you and other reactors always say that Suga, RM and JHope are just copying American rappers? You don't use the word "copying" but that is the only thing I can draw from that statement. You praise him on one hand but knock him down on the other. I am done with reactors who never credit BTS either as a group or individuals without having to say they bring nothing original. Always the comparison. Funny, but these men have Bern performing since 2013 yet some reactors say they sound like an American or British I artist that started after 2013. I love this song. How many rappers today cover a topic like the one in Snooze? Or any of the solo releases of RM, JHope, and Suga?
Check out all BTS reactions 😊 :

He is really great. I love his voice and style. Great tone to his voice, and very smooth.
Love his voice. This song introduced me to him.

당신의 상상에 박수를!!! 꿈을 이루기 위해 선잠 자는 고단한 모든 이들에게 남기고자 하는 윤기의 메시지이자 편지라 제목이 Snooze인 것이죠.

Lyrics are incredible of course.
Such a great song. 💜
Woo Sung ❤️🩹❤️🩹
This song is seriously a masterpiece. The lyrics and there meaning magnificent. The flow, the music and the haunting hook is just amazing
I believe he's saying 다 괜찮아질거야 (da gwaenchanh-ajilgeoya), or "Everything's going to be fine/all right."
Ryuchi Yakamoto is one of the composers
Ryuichi Sakamoto, he was living legend and pop icon. RIP Maestro Sakamoto 💔
DA (everything) GWEN CHAN AH (it's ok) JIL GGUH YA (will be)
I love the piano playing throughout this song. The world is missing an amazing artist. Miss you ❤️
Ryuchi Sakamoto was his idol, but in Road to D-Day Riyuchi seemed almost more excited to meet Yoongi!
