man..that is so awesome..Iv got a beta machine ...love it...It was a gift to me..the guy gave me 800 beta tapes also...I pulled out all the horror for my collection and stored the rest...I love seeing other peoples beta machines..thanks for the video.you will get thumbs up from me
Fantastic pick-up, Matt! Two great choices of classic CBS Fox titles to show it off with too, Arnie & Haim :) I started getting one to two dislikes per video in the past month and initially it annoyed me as I didn't know what wasn't to like in my updates but hey haters going to hate. Don't let it discourage you from what you're doing, we love it, Mate :)
It seems that later Sony dropped off this Linear Skating feature. I remember an ad from 1985 that says "A VCR so advanced that you don't ever have to push Power button?", refered to ront loading (just push the cassette with record tab broken and powers up and plays automatically).
Hahaha it's so cool you get so excited about Betas! What a funky eject mechanism, love it. Almost like a LaserDisc tray. Such a great pickup mate, really happy for you. HOLY HELL mate, you are AWESOME sending me a BETAMAX machine hahaha! My wife will kill me haha. Yeah I've had a few dislikes recently and also wonder why I get them, all you can do is ignore and move on. If they don't have the balls to leave a comment as well, it's just trolling. Keep up the great videos mate!!!!!
@videoholiccollection hey ray. SCART is a European made video connection that I think is fractionally to a little higher quality than a compositive RCA yellow white and red video leads on the machines that have it are dozens of pin sized holes that the male lead plugs into. we have it on some DVD/VHS combo machines but almost all VCR's of VHS type sold in Australia did not have this. This is the only one I know of. My beta collection consists of about 1100 tapes.
the scart leads CVBS, Y / C (s-video) and RGB, but it is large and cumbersome. Take it from me that I use in my country (Spain) xD I prefer to connect the RCA for CVBS.
Thats as close to the best as your gonna get with a beta player. I almost put a bid on ebay for a 'red' betamax player, excellent condition and it was sony. How cool is that! Too bad I didnt, i was trying to cut down at the time and the wife nagged me to stop wasting money...booo!

Happy owner of the American equivalent of this model, the SL-HF750.

Perhaps some people dislike your videos because they are jealous haters. Congrats on the Beta Machine. Killer score.
@CarryTheZero1980 AGREED. That license to drive tape is my fav cbs fox. Them were great times of VHS renting. I worked in a video store back then too.
WOW nice collection!

@svr73 So cool! Is that the Sanyo VTC-M10? Saw some pictures of it, looks very retro!

Nice Machine! i have a C9 and others
@svr73 That would have been the golden era to have worked in a video store, I was merely a frequent renter :)
cool, I also have a C9 that works
@ExplosiveAction probably send you the M10 once my C9 is fixed
